Thank youMorning all - glorious day again.
14.2 which is really out of order. Low alarm went off in the wee hours - it was 4.2 and not really that low - and not only did I eat a Dextrose I put a -30% basal on for 1.5 hours which was seriously ill-advised, but try telling anyone half asleep and majorly irritated by the alarm that!
Lovely cloud @eggyg and I must look out for Aldi duck legs.
Welcome @Garryayling to our mad coffee morning.
Congratulations @Lily123 on your HS.
Not a lot on today so a day of rest in the garden, just as well as I have a busy week coming up - with lots of socialising!
Will do - when the works are finished there will be picturessounds like a full on day let me know how the pond works out
Good wishes for the surgery and a quick return to full mobility.Good morning 8.1 today
yesterday was 6.9 as was Friday
We did loads of unpacking & sorting out yesterday, we’ve been sleeping in our bungalow for 10 days now
and slowly getting a bit organised, whist singing living in a cardboard box…
The bungalow is far from finished but quite comfortable the flooring is being fitted tomorrow which will be good.
I’m in hospital tomorrow, for my long awaited ankle fusion surgery
I should be getting my ankle fettled / fixed then let out of hospital following a three night stay, I’ve never looked forward to surgery but after what this ankle has put me through the last few years I am.
Have a fabulous day everybody 😎
Thank youWill do - when the works are finished there will be picturesWelcome to the party where we celebrate success and sympathise with disasterous numbers - and also wander off into culture, pictures and friendly news.
Thank you5.4 when woken this morning at 6am by the grandchildren
Had a lovely day yesterday with them at Legoland Discovery Centre in Birmingham. They both had a great time there and were so well behaved all day. Starting to feel a bit like @eggyg with grandchildren duties! Quite looking forward to doing more once we retire!
Today was a bit of a blur and, I admit, a little afternoon snooze to catch up after today’s early start
@Lily123 - congratulations on your HS, enjoy (?) @ColinUK ’s house!
@goodybags - great to hear that the bungalow is coming on well and starting to get straight. Good luck with your operation!
@Garryayling - welcome to this thread, enjoy the fun!
Hope everyone had a good day and enjoyed some sunshine!
I hope it works out for you, 2 people I know have had it done, 1 on both feet 5 months apart with great success, was given boots to wear once the plaster came off, but the other feels it is worse than before and is still in a lot of pain after 7 months but was given nothing to wear after the plaster came off to help.Good morning 8.1 today
