Group 7-day waking average?

Morning, 6.2 by FP test, new sensor less than 24hrs applied showing 4.2 and two low alarms during the night, occasionally the Libre will take 24hrs to ‘settle’, annoying.

I’ve got a beaut lined up if anyone’s getting a HS today…

You have been warned

Morning

7.1 today, chest is a bit better, still a little bit wheezy but going for a walk this morning, don’t want to push it by running, my friend has hurt her knee so she is happy to walk, other friend is having lots of problems with her asthma as well at the moment so meeting us afterwards for coffee.

not much else planned today, a bit of housework, knitting and/or reading, hubby is at work so I can do pretty much whatever I feel like.

Good morning. 6.8

Lovely day. Off to Pembrokeshire with a friend to visit a nursery specialising in pond plants. Wonderful excuse not to dig a trench for armoured cable to the filter system...It only needs to be a spit deep to stop me mowing through it but feels like the sort of thing to do tomorrow...like jam.

Hope everyone has a good day.
Is that near Lydstep? Don’t forget to stop at Bubbleton Farm for a coffee - it’s a lovely spot to just sit and enjoy the view. Have fun!

Morning all. 🙂 9.0 here...makes no sense whatsoever.

Busy week ahead, so I must remember to relax a bit today. Enjoy Sunday folks. 🙂

Reminds me of a friend who said they couldn’t eat curry anymore.
Doctor told them they were basmatic.

Morning all, 5.5 here.
Had a clear run back from Yorkshire, got all the unpacking and washing done and out on the line by 3pm, looked round the garden, picked some peonies and irises for the house…. then I opened the door to the study, and was hit with that heartsink moment of the unmistakable smell of damp plasterboard, and looking up, saw a large brown stain on the ceiling.
Tracked it down to a leaking shower pump in the linen cupboard, not a major worry in the grand scheme of things, but all my nice clean sheets and towels smell musty, and I need to call my tame plumber on Monday.

Looks like it is getting crowded on the 6.2 step this morning but very happy to be there. 4 units of Levemir and a 1.5unit correction at bedtime for a 9.1 seems to have worked quite nicely last night for me. I am like you @ColinUK Stress sends my levels up significantly but for me it just means I have to inject more insulin to bring it down.

Just an observation on the stress thing.
Over the last three hours I’ve meditated on things and written a plan. I know what I’ve got to do and I’m happy with the decisions no matter how apparently tough they may be.
Anyway… the point was to say that my BG has dropped 3.5 in the time I’ve spent actually dealing with the stressors rather than ignoring them.

Now to shower and get dressed etc. Off out in a bit to meet a panto friend, his wife and baby bump for brunch by the Serpentine and I can’t wait!

5.4 for me this morning. 🙂 Cracking the cryptic crossword this morning, then off for a good long walk afternoon.

Dez

Morning all. 6.9 after another up and down night. Alarm at 3.32am, 3.3 going down. 3.35am 5.1 and no sign on the graph. Grr! A lovely 5.1 when I woke at 7.12 for the loo. Dozed off until 7.50, 4.8! Wow! I thought. Went to loo, two minutes later, 6.9 arrow straight up and no sign of ever been near 5. No special house for me @ColinUK, of course if you squint through one eye and close the other one the 6.9 sort of looks like 5.2! 😛

Lovely day yesterday, 24 degrees and far too hot for me. Did a bit tidying up in our small front garden ready for the annuals next weekend. Mr Eggy planted tomato plants in raised bed, he also potted up some herbs we bought the other day. Lost our thyme this winter and the sage is looking a bit dodgy too. Also bought some hot and chilli oregano it tastes a bit astringent raw but hopefully should taste a bit better cooked. I’m reserving judgement. Much the same on the cards today, pottering in the garden and complaining it’s too hot!

@Pattidevans Aldi do quite cheap duck legs which I was planning on using, I’ve a jar of duck fat already, we bought it in the absence of goose fat. I am guilty of trying to do everything myself and then complaining that no one helped and I’m never doing it again! Of course I do.
@Robin what a blooming nuisance to come home too, hope it hasn’t caused too much damage and your plumber is able to come and sort it before February 2025!

Have a super Sunday folks.

Just edited this to pop this photo on. I spotted this fallstreak cloud yesterday. I had never heard of it before but it was all over our local FB pages. Google it, it’s quite rare. I just thought it looked beautiful.

Lampeter Velfrey is the nearest settlement. Coffee? Fun? This is a serious mission - Libby has converted her swimming pool to a fish pond giving a huge bald area of water to fill and I want some plants too. Anticipate that the return journey is going to be a sub-aqua version of MacBeth "...Birnham Wood be come to Dunsinane" .
