Group 7-day waking average?

Morning all, 6.8 here.The horses at the yard where we keep ours have all been able to go out without rugs on in the Spring sunshine this week, but the field has still got some muddy corners, I’m expecting to have to do a lot of grooming this morning before I can ride, our pony just loves rolling in the mud.
 
Morning all. 7.2 here. That’s better.

I’m fed-up atm, so I’m going to postpone some of today’s lesson planning / admin until tomorrow, and take myself off to a nearby garden centre (which just happens to have a very nice cafe too). I need a couple of houseplants and something that climbs to fill a gap in the hedge. And I really need to switch off from the diabetes monster and relaaaaax.

Morning all. I woke at 2am with an unexplained 14.7! Injected 4u correction and went back to sleep. Well, its dropped but not by that much. It was still 10.7 when i woke again. Its got to be either all the stress with mum or i'm coming down with something.

We have to meet an Occupational Therapist at mums today. They've said they will be there between 10 and 12. They'd better be, i need to be gone by 12.15 latest as i have other things to do so i shall be gone. They wanted to come yesterday afternoon but rang me last minute and i couldn't make it. I suggested Monday but they said it had to be done quicker. Funny that, mum told me on Monday this week they were going to ring, and they only did yesterday at midday.
 
Morning all 7.0 for me I had 3 large sausage rolls last night guess the diabetic fairy is saying bad diabetic
Had a bad night As you know i broke mr right kneecap about 9 months ago, well its never been painfree since im not expecting it to be 100% again but i do exect to be able to walk/sleep withut pain constant bad pain. I spoke to the ANP who comes to LH and she said she would spek to GP about it. I already have liquid parasetomol and pain gel. Hes put me on co-co-madol and will she how it goes if that does not work hes going to send me for an xray and possible referal to pain clinic They said it may be bone on bone eeek Sorry for the mini rant but am in so much pin that im crying a lot.Im quite prepared to pay to have xray done privatly if theres a long waiting time

Got my diabetic eye screening results yesterday - all clear and no sign of any retinopathy- yay!:party:

The visit to my parents went ok-ish, they have accepted a carer coming in for half an hour every day to help clear up their lunch things. It’s a start and at least means if we have to ramp things up quickly we will now be able to. Dad was worried about the costs but they really need some help now otherwise it would mean a care home which we have costed out for three local homes at around £12k / month for the two of them! Shocking!

We have the grandchildren after school today until Saturday afternoon whilst my daughter and husband go to Pittsburgh for the weekend to see if moving there would be good for them. I kind of think they’ll take this opportunity which leaves me feeling happy that they have this chance but also sad at not being able to see them and the grandchildren anywhere near as much as we do now.

Good morning, 6.0 again for me.
Friday at last. Looking forward to finishing work tonight so I can go home and spend some time decluttering and tidying, house is a right mess and it's driving me bonkers!
Not much on at school today, gearing myself up to do Stock Take. Might try to get some student librarians to help if they're feeling keen!

Yes its still very expensive to run this is a small tank we have now its actually harder to keep everything stable, we used to have a big 6ft tank, but we had a case of itch, and it wiped everything out that was 12 years ago and it put us off we lost thousands, we sold the tank and equipment on, as you say the new lighting is fantastic compared to the T5 we also had, and a lot of the equipment is so much better, its requires a lot of upkeep but it is worth it even on a smaller scale.

Wow! Sorry that you lost everything, that must have been devastating! Luckily I never lost any of the fish, my favourite being the pair of Melanopus Clownfish who loved their anenome!
 
My aim is better than yours today @MeeTooTeeTo! 5.2!

Courtauld was interesting. Mainly because of the crowds of people looking at the Picasso’s and ignoring the Monet’s next to them.

Much Ado is bonkers fun. Stripped down set of course but didn’t feel empty. Cast are uniformly excellent. Tom Hiddleston is frankly remarkable in the role.

Ermm, this might be a silly question but..how does salmon represent the countries?

Joining @ColinUK on the 5.2 step today, going to see mum later, mood still low as now another spanner in the works regarding late FIL estate, although we can plan around it, just means going to take longer, but currently feel this is never going to get settled.

@goodybags - congratulations on your weight loss.
 
8.3 for me the first time I woke up because my high alarm went off and I jabbed 10 units and my 20 of Levemir and went back to sleep and woke up when my low alarm went off on 4.6 with an horizontal arrow, just in time to make coffee and breakfast and eat straight away, which is always a bit of a novelty.

Morning all. Late posting this morning as it completely slipped my mind. 8.7 for me at breakfast, due to Dawn Phenomenon that I did not catch in time (fast asleep). I think I might have a slight cold also courtesy of recent damp cold weather, so that did not help. Still I have managed to keep it pretty well reined in so far this morning, so fingers crossed the same will hold true for the rest of today. My options for exercise are limited as a dull mist has set in that looks likely to last for some hours.

If I am going to be stuck inside, I think I will try some new baking recipes. My almond-meal bread is delicious, so I am on the hunt for other low-carb bread (substitutes) to try.

6.9 after a night of flat-lining 6s. Much more cloudy today with occasional rain, very little in the way breeze too.

My OH comes back after a dissatisfied break in Manchester theatre land - she couldn't watch Joseph as she couldn't climb a couple of steps to get to her seat, and all that was offered was a chair in a drafty doorway, as the theatre was full! She didn't fancy that idea for very long. The other ladies were fine as they managed the steps. We should have booked a lot sooner for a few disabled seats.

We are expecting a builder to pop round today - the first of five, all tending a quote for some work done on the house. They should be here between 10am and 3pm.

Back the wrong side of the border this morning with a 6.2 but at least my weekly BP check is in the healthy zone - 114/65.

Missed out on my swim yesterday as I was expecting the mobile mechanic but he texted me after lunch to say sorry but he couldn't make it. Offered Saturday but we're not here as we'll be at Chichester Uni for a New Students' event. Our youngest was offered a place 2 years ago but deferred it but now wants to go. I'll have my swim today. Mechanic's here on Monday, now.

@Eternal422 - did you get a letter or, like me, a text with a link to the NHS Portal? Just curious as to whether the switch to online is just here or nationally. Pleased you got the all-clear, as I did a few days ago.
