Group 7-day waking average?

5.8 this morning, which has dawned cool, grey and - Glory Be! - wet. None of the forecast thunderstorms yesterday but we did get a torrential downpour mid-afternoon. Rain's stopped now and the sun's broken through. Not the usual 3 WFH this Monday, just my wife. At least I won't have to tiptoe around today.

Our eldest's flight back from Madeira gets into Stansted at 20:45, assuming it's on time, so he won't be home until quite late. Based on his Instagram posts it seems that he and his mates have been having a good time.

@Pam123 - congratulations on yesterday’s HS.

Enjoy the start to the week.

Morning all and 7.4 for me.

Hopefully Wednesday will be spent setting up our new studio and trying to remember how to use the gear I had just about mastered before the ceiling came crashing down at the old place.

Have a good day everyone.

Morning

4.7 today, and here in South West Essex, we have rain as well. Didn’t get any yesterday, did get some dark clouds mixed in with the sunshine. Today’s plans are crotchet, bit of housework and out with the running group tonight.

@Pam123 - congratulations on yesterday’s HS.
In Mid Essex we had heavy rain on and off throughout the day yesterday. Bedding got soaked on the line at least twice.

Morning, 4.2 for me earlier. Ridiculous sensor transmitter taking all night to calibrate, and Medtronic being as useful as they usually are..!

I didn't post yesterday as had a full day at camp. Very fun but we are now all shattered! When we got home I felt a bit lost as it had been such a lovely experience. Looking forward to next year!

Here is a picture of me and 7yo in a kayak. I forgot that it is generally frowned upon to kayak at 6 months pregnant, and indeed did struggle slightly with breathing (!) and getting back out! Good fun though. You can see my shoes haven't yet recovered from the colour run!

Morning all from a sunny Edinburgh
6.1 for me
Just having my break from volunteering, it’s been very busy, be glad to have a lazy afternoon, going to cinema to see the F1 film with Brad Pitt, hope it’s good.
Have a great day everyone

Remind me which one of you lot asked for rain then? It’s chucking it down
That would also be me. Very grateful for the 18mm of rain we had yesterday. I planted out my fuchsias in the drizzle.
I did book it for night-time but the weather gods ignored me 😱

Good morning folks (only just) from a cloudy Lincolnshire. We had a bit more rain last night. Dry so far today but I am hoping for a bit of sun later so I can inspect the beehives.
7.4 today. Need to keep it under tighter control before cataract op. No date yet but I understand they will check BG on the day.
Picked some blueberries for breakfast earlier and checked the tayberries. It was far too wet to pick them yesterday so the wasps had a field day. I will pick the half eaten fruit for the chickens and the few remaining good ones for us. Still covered in wasps so I am wearing my beekeepers suit in case they try to sting me. Wish me luck!
Enjoying the slightly cooler weather.
Have a good week everyone and take care! Hugs to anyone not feeling great at the moment x

Afternoon folks. A happy 4.9 for me a bit earlier this fine sunny morning.

Have a great rest of the day and stay well.

Morning all.Lovely sunny day up norf .Well it's a good start to the week Enjoy your day people
Congratulations on your HS

going to cinema to see the F1 film with Brad Pitt, hope it’s good.
Have a great day everyone
We really enjoyed it. I hope you do too.

@Colin g congrats on the HS

A worrying 3.8 for me, think I may have over corrected myself at 1am, still you live and learn.

Another lovely day here, a tad warmer than yesterday with a wonderful cooling breeze. Makes a change from wind and rain.

I had an appointment at the TIA Clinic this morning, to be told that they had been checking last weeks brain scan and showed no abnormalities. Puzzling and the clinician said that the double-vision which occurred on the 3rd was nothing to worry about and was more associated more with a hypo than a mini-stroke. Still, a warning though. Sorry to have worried folk.
The low sodium has been a feature of Risperidone & Haloperidol from their first inception, 4 or 5 years back.

Congratulations @Colin g on your HS!

Have a great day wherever you find yourselves.

Evening all, all bit late
5.7 for me
On new tablet all singing all dancing. Even lights up a fag afterwards lol

6.2 high for me no idea why just one of those things well the big news is I haven't been to a garden centre today hence bought no plants, boring evening more football same for most of the week I detest it and so does hubby so its good old Netflix or Disney or Apple tonight for us.

@Colin g congrats on the HS

5.0 this morning for me.

Had a good day, even the Harecastle Tunnel was good to us and our passage through its 1.6 miles was thankfully smooth and uneventful. I hate the middle section where the roof of the tunnel is really low, it makes for steering the boat very difficult. It is 40 minutes of terror but so good to emerge from the end portal into daylight again!

We stopped off at Red Bull for a drink and some food before pressing on up “Heartbreak Hill” towards Wheelock, putting ourselves a good 4 hours ahead of plans which means we now have some contingency in our trip in case of problems, bad weather or simply don’t want to get up so early!

Congratulations @Colin g on your HS and @Pam123 on yesterday’s HS.

Take care everyone!

10.0

Shattered so slept most of the afternoon. Takeaway now postponed until Wednesday as kebab shop closed Tuesdays. Hubby feeling more confident about foot and plans to drive to Sainsbury's tomorrow and sit in the car while daughter does shopping. Teamwork 😎
