Group 7-day waking average?

10.6

Didn't eat many carbs but had to deal with a late evening crisis when hubby dropped a lead-acid battery on his big toe. Trying to rest in bed today as far as possible.
Hope your hubby is OK. That sounds extremely painful 😱

Morning and a 5.6 for me and another flat line overnight.
Very nice day yesterday and lunch out with our son and then he came back and out our new wheelbarrow ( bit more heavy duty than current one) together.
Finished another series of line of Duty and can understand now why people enjoy it so much.
Dogs walked and having cup of tea.
WFH today and only a short week.

Morning all, 8.3 here, oops, that would be last nights profiteroles (when in Italy). Managed a bit of blue sky yesterday, and managed to be down off the mountain before the heavens opened (though not quite back at the hotel). Loads of flowers on the meadows, but after the recent hot weather, stuff that was out last year has already gone to seed, other stuff which was only just budding last year are in full swing, like these turks cap lilies.

Morning, 6.9 for me, it's the dog's birthday today so we had an early trip to the beach followed by a game of ball in the park.
No special plans for today other than nipping to the post office to post a couple of letters my mum sent me from Turkey, they needed me to countersign.
Still no cheque from Santander but I haven't given up hope yet!

Remind me which one of you lot asked for rain then? It’s chucking it down!

Anyway… 6.1

Last week I broke out stripey caftan for the first time. It’s ok for the cruise but not really what I wanted it to be so Saturday, during Pride, I nipped into a local Wolf and Badger and tried on what I thought would work and it did. Had to order from their website as they didn’t have red in stock. And at pride I bought clip on carving knife drop earrings which have bloodstains on the blades and they’re basically the entirety of my Halloween outfit. Means I can wear whatever and pop one of those on and it’s a Halloween costume.

Looking back at where my thinking was for Scarlet Night outfits for the cruise, to where I’ve ended up it’s been quite a journey but it’s also clearly been with a clear destination in mind. Now I just need to figure out shoes.

IMG_2401.jpegIMG_2410.jpegIMG_0076.jpegIMG_0077.jpeg

The striped one fits lovely, moves like a billowing sail in the breeze and I’ll certainly wear it but it’s not right for Scarlet Night. The new one (the shiny one) hangs better, fits better, moves better, and is ideal for the party.

That would be me, soz! And it chucked it down on us good and proper in the middle of our holiday! But we got some at home too, last night, probably because son had just watered the garden for us.
You’re forgiven as you’re wonderful!

Morning all. A higher 9.2. Nothing much to do today apart from wait to hear mum has come home, it should have been yesterday but they couldn't get the care package sorted until today.

Raining here too. 6.2 at 5am, now 8.9 at 7.50am. Off to have my bloods taken at the GP surgery at 9am prior to a Diabetic Clinic appointment on the 16th. It’s a fasting requirement so can’t eat breakfast until afterwards. Should I take my insulin, or not? I have.

Morning all. 6.7 when I arose at 7am.

Got a wash on and I’ve had breakfast. I’ve got a wash on as we AREN’T forecast rain for a change. I’ve sent it all to you soft southerners! That’ll teach you to boast about all the sunshine you’ve been getting whilst I’ve been shivering and soaked through ooop north! This is when I wish there was a cackling witch emoji.😛

Yesterday we managed a walk in between showers, except I still got wet. Nearly home and on a bridle path which is always full of puddles, because of all the rain we had the puddle of all puddles. It covered the whole width of the path and there was no way around it, a steep bank on one side and a fence on the other. I clung to the fence but still managed to fall in. My right foot was soaked, I squelched all the way home. Hung my walking shoes by their laces on the washing line, picked some raspberries, sat down and the heavens opened! Shoes even wetter! They’re currently in the green house where there’s some warmth! Mr Eggy thought all this was hilarious and took a photo and sent it to our girls! Who needs enemies…….?😉

Talking of girls, the younger one and her family are back from the high seas. Back to childcare on Wednesday, but I suspect we may get visitors today, or we’ll visit them.

Have a Happy Monday and don’t get too wet! o_O

Puddle?! Looks more like a pond!

Morning all. 🙂 10.3 here. I suspect the Diabetes Fairy is at a loose end while @Robin’s on holiday!

The weather’s very changeable atm - 5 mins of rain, 5 mins of sunshine, more rain, more sun...what to wear? It’s my last class this morning...must...find...some...enthusiasm...from somewhere otherwise the 2 hours will draaag.

Enjoy the rain, folks.

A 6.2 for me this morning. 🙂

Morning

4.7 today, and here in South West Essex, we have rain as well. Didn’t get any yesterday, did get some dark clouds mixed in with the sunshine. Today’s plans are crotchet, bit of housework and out with the running group tonight.

@Pam123 - congratulations on yesterday’s HS.
