Group 7-day waking average?

Morning 10.2 which after Chinese treat last night isn’t bad. Why is a Chinese so hard to get right ?!

Sunny day today and nothing really planned. Lunch / brunch out somewhere later maybe and a tv day.

Have a good day.

Morning all on this dull, rainy morning in Cornwall. Forecast is for sun and cloud, so hoping it will pick up before this afternoon.

6.3 at 7:30 but I had already been to the bathroom. Yet another low alarm in the night.... I think it's due to the 2 metformin I have been taking to stop the weight gain I was experiencing. Must adjust basals again.

Meeting friends in town this afternoon and picking a huge prescription up from Boots. It's embarrassing the size of the bag when I get the big prescription!

Happy day all......

I just ordered a repeat, which by coincidence includes needles and the Libre sensors. I was thinking to myself what the bag is going to look like  😛. I don't know why I should feel self conscious for getting this stuff that literally keeps me alive, but I do.

Ermm, this might be a silly question but..how does salmon represent the countries?
It was about the flesh and the blood and the trio of steaks I think.
Standing in front of it and there’s no doubt that it’s quite a violent painting. It isn’t just three pieces of salmon, there’s something else there that the artist managed to imbue the image with.

Len Special this morning.

Off to Sadler’s Wells in a bit to see something new. I’ve zero idea what it is about but it’s an award winning choreographer.

Morning everyone. It was a 4.9 for me today.

After my 5.3 on waking I took my insulin and was having a coffee on the sofa when my low alarm went off, reading 3.9. It wasn't a compression low and didn't seem to be going back up, I felt OK but my lips were tingling a bit, so I had a glucose tablet which swiftly brought me back up to 6. I didn't have any supper last night, I usually have a tangerine, so I was a bit lower overnight than usual.

I take the wheelbarrow!
When they built the pharmacy at the hospital where my daughter is dispensary manager they installed a bullet proof window with a small slot at the bottom for security which was just big enough to hand 1 box pills or the prescription through so anything bigger they had to open the side door, so very secure, not.

Afternoon all. I'm late on parade today. 8.6 when i woke and it hasn't really changed much since.

Its lovely and sunny here with a bit of wind so the washing is out on the line. Hubby is off for the weekend and we decided to have a very lazy day doing nothing and going nowhere. He needs the rest. Mind you, he can't sit for too long before getting restless so we'll see, we might end up doing something anyway.

@rebrascora and @ColinUK enjoy your shows later.

Hello all

5.3 for me this morning. It's a beautiful day but I'm not feeling amazing. I got up bright and early and made breakfast for everyone and then got hit by a sneaky low. Now have a bit of a headache but I know if I get outside I'll feel better.

Hope everyone has a good weekend!

7.6 for me on another lovely and warm day, started off cloudy/blue but now is blue letting the yellow-thing through.

My tablet went awry yesterday/Thursday by not accepting a USB charge cable, the port just refused any type-c that I tried. I ordered a new one while trying to find the original supplier to see if I can get something done about the original. Meanwhile, a new tablet arrived this morning (only 18 hrs after ordering).

Got up bright and early to have a shower and waited in for the gardener to finish our hedge, only to learn he couldn't come until next week.

Going to try to get out and enjoy the balmy weather.

Enjoy the day whatever and wherever you are & whatever you do.

Hello @Silent Sands, my phone stopped charging a few months ago and our local PC repair shop (small independent chain of 3 local shops) were able to do a cleaning service that fixed the problem properly. Some detritus in the C type charging port. I don't remember the cost, but it certainly was not prohibitive and I was cautious because the phone was elderly and of limited financial value. All done while I waited. You might easily find somewhere from a Google search for your post code (eg search tablet repair service for XY12AB34) to get options. From that you can phone ahead and get costs etc. I tend to avoid the bigger high street names like Curry's or PC World, finding them both expensive and less personal.

Thanks, I'll try.

Late on parade today as we left early for Chichester Uni's Bognor Regis Campus for the potential new students event. It gave our youngest a chance to meet the lecturer for his course. While he was doing that we wandered into Bognor to have a look around and get some lunch. Lovely sunny day but a cool breeze, especially down on the seafront. Anyway, 6.0 on waking.

This morning I joined @ColinUK on the Len step as I to had a 7

it’s a lovely Sunny Saturday here in Northampton, most welcome 😎 allowing me to put on shorts today for the fitness (Physical & MH) football activity programme (I’m currently doing on Saturday morning)
very different to 4 weeks ago when I first attended, back then we had sleet & it was freezing cold

Today discovered this program should be running permanently, so hopefully they can then attract more attendees, currently there is only the 2 of us attending, so its basically like some personal football & wellness coaching (not bad for just £2 a session)
the club have funding for I think he said up to 20 people to attend, and next week some photos will be taken to share on social media etc, to attract more people to attend, if they do - I will share

This afternoon I knocked off my Libra, there was 4 days left on that one, and I was getting out the car then clumsily caught it on the door frame, I’ve just reported it to Abbott (used the online reporting)

Hope everybody’s having a Super Smashing Saturday 😎

I have great memories of that part of the world @Martin.A
having spent many childhood summer holidays at SelseaBill, as kids we used to love the BirdMan of Bognor competition, plus my Grandparents retired to Hayling Island, so we used to get taken for days out across to Bognor from Hayling.

No numbers from me this morning. Woke up to discover hot water all over the kitchen floor. We have one of those instant hot water taps and the tank underneath the sink was leaking. Faulty hose connector. Turned it all off and cleaned up. Can't speak to customer service until Monday.
Luckily I found an old kettle stashed in one of the sheds. I do miss the filtered water though. Routine went out the window so no tests.
Also unpacked a box with spare bike gear that was stored in the shed. Unfortunately it was a bit damp so everything smelled a bit funky. 4 wash loads later most of it is clean and dry. One more load tomorrow.
Not quite how I planned today.....oh well.
Hope you all have a good weekend.
Fingers crossed your eye screening went well @rebrascora
