Group 7-day waking average?

4.1 the first time I woke up with a very flat line mostly in the black but bits of red here and there... I sleep really, really well at that level though. Unfortunately it was just after 3am but I was wide awake. Got up had a couple of cups of coffee and did the Wordle puzzles (badly 😡 ) and after an hour or so, I suddenly felt incredibly tired and climbed back into bed and slept again and woke up on 4.4 No idea what that was all about although I suspect taking my Amitriptyline early last night had something to do with it.

It's another bright, sunny morning here and looks like it's in for the day, and I'm joining @goodybags on the 5.1 step. If you're going to break your run of 6s that's the way to do it. Tested the other hand as well, just to be sure, and it was the same.

Mobile mechanic found what was wrong with our youngest's car yesterday, ordered the parts and will be back today to fit them. It wasn't the clutch (phew!) which is what I thought it might be. That would have cost an arm and a leg. Might miss out on my regular Thursday swim depending on what time he's coming.

Whatever your plans, have a good day. More work in the garden for me, I think.

Good morning everyone, 4.5 today for me.

@Pam123 - I used to have a marine aquarium, expensive to keep, run and stock but beautiful to look at. Sadly had to sell it all when I divorced and had to move. I bet improved lighting nowadays makes keeping corals easier, I only managed soft corals with T5 tubes for lighting (other than halide, the best available at the time).

Painted the garden fences yesterday, now I have an aching elbow as a reward! Pleased to be outside in the glorious sunshine and get that job done before the growing season. More stay at home today for the most part as the work progresses with the kitchen flooring then off to my parents this afternoon to oversee a care assessment for them.

Take care everyone and enjoy the Spring sunshine if you can!

Morning everyone. Yet another sunny morning, I could get used to this if I’m not careful!

Anyway, it was a 4.6 for me earlier today . Have a good day folks and stay cool.

Morning all, I was 5.9, had to get up early to get over to the spire hospital in Southampton for my C-peptide blood test. It took an hour to travel ten miles in busy traffic, without having had a coffee or anything to eat. So I was quite grumpy by the time we arrived.
Blood test done and back home enjoying a coffee now 🙂

6 for me on this glorious sunny morning. Threatening rain later though.
Blood's were flat-lining 4s during night, rising 6s when I opened my eyes.

Playing pool today with some friends in town.If I recall, I won 8-0 last week, wonder how I'll play today.

Good morning all from sunny Dorset.

A 6.0 for me today.

World Book Day is going well, I had great fun taking part in a drama workshop with Years 1 and 2 earlier - lots of running about and gleeful sliding across the floor! Good fun.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Yes its still very expensive to run this is a small tank we have now its actually harder to keep everything stable, we used to have a big 6ft tank, but we had a case of itch, and it wiped everything out that was 12 years ago and it put us off we lost thousands, we sold the tank and equipment on, as you say the new lighting is fantastic compared to the T5 we also had, and a lot of the equipment is so much better, its requires a lot of upkeep but it is worth it even on a smaller scale.

4.2 this morning and a flat line hubby woke me twice alarm went of, its scary when I don't here it drank orange juice and went back to sleep, not showing I was in the red just didn't move from 4.2, anyway were off to do a bit of shopping have a good day everyone

Good afternoon from the Cambridge train! 5'9 this morning.

I got in my first train at 9 am but it has passed fast, now should be just another 30 mins. My parents will land shortly at Stansted and will take their own train from there, so I will wait for them at the station.

I am really happy with the new flat, even tho I've not had much time to enjoy it. Yesterday after book club I spent a few hours unpacking my stuff, on time to pack a bag for today! At least it's done and I'll come back to a tidy, more organised place 🙂

Thought of you @ColinUK when I stopped in your city. Just a short train change today, but I'll stay for a night on the way back.

A very late update from me today. Got distracted with chores this morning.
9.7 again, seems to be stuck on there. Meter is fine as mealtime readings varied as expected.
After yesterday's bonfire in the incinerator everything was stinking of smoke. The washing machine has been on extra duty today, cleaning garden dungarees and scruff wear tops to get rid of the smell. Old jeans and T shirt today and back in the garden again. Love being outside in this mild spring weather.
Hope you are all OK and getting a quick vitamin D fix while the sunshine lasts.

Evening all - and a nasty, damp and freezing cold one it is here in Cornwall. Look out folks, this is what is coming to you in the near future.

6.6 first thing following on from a minus 40% temp basal for 4 hours.

Yesterday was a lovely sunny day and I went into St Ives with my friend. We had Moules and chips for lunch, then a walkabout and then I was plagued by low alarms. At first I thought it was because I'd not eaten all my chips at lunch, then I thought it'd been the effort of staggering up to the bus station as it was a steep hill followed by a very long steep staircase, then because of roadworks a bit of a hike to the temporary bus stop. We just missed a bus and had a long wait in a chilly wind. I ate most of a pack of Dextrose.

The colours in St Ives are absolutely enchanting though... perfect seaside colours, no wonder the place swarms with artists! Excuse quality of photos, they were just done with my phone and from quite a distance.

Finally home J and I went to the local to meet our friends and lo and behold more alarms. I ate a load more Dextrose and a packet of crisps but my Libre was still showing 3.8. I thought "this is daft" so I tried a finger prick which showed 5.7. Phew.... Libre was on it's last 2 days, so I stuck another on but decided not to start it till today when I changed my pod! I think the old Libre was giving up the ghost!

Today been for my B12 injection followed by an appointment with the "Our Future Health" team in a caravan thing in Tesco car park. She had a heck of a job getting any blood out of me... tried twice in both arms and finally got some! It blooming hurt. They measure you and I'm a bit shocked to be told I am "just under 5'2"" Odd, I used to be 5'4½".

@ColinUK hope you enjoyed the theatre - time for some CCCs.

@Elenka_HM enjoy your time with your parents and your holiday.

Have a good evening all...

Evenin' all. Twas 8.2 this morning. I think this Pod is a bit thick - it can't seem to remember that my BG rises at about 6 a.m. and I need more insulin, der.

My time in range has been rubbish all week, Activity mode can't cope with my 3pm walk, and I got told off by a jogger this morning - "Next time, put your dog on the lead!". Er, no, mate, you don't own the outdoors. Learn to share it with everyone else. She's a cute, little puppy. She was saying "Hello", LOL.

Had a Zoom meeting with my boss this afternoon. Lots of positive feedback - she observed one of my classes last night. So it's "PHEW!" (until next time).

Wow, those colours ARE amazing @PattiEvans. We get a lot of moody skies here in West Wales.20241229_092315.jpg

Morning all. 7.5! Oops!

Got out of running grandson to work, Mr Eggy “volunteered”. I’m still up at the crack though. We both woke at 4am because our banking app buzzed as it kindly sent us a notification to say we’d had a payment! We really don’t need to know at that time of the morning though do we? Needless to say the ol’ internal monologue started, for us both. Nana nap later maybe. Other than that a quietish day, home admin, a bit of cooking, washing, cleaning, a trip to the charity shop to donate two boxes of books, and some photo frames, Mr Eggy is always buying them and half of them never get used, they are cluttering up one of the spare bedrooms, so I’ve said they’ve to go.

Have a fab Friday. I’m going to have a nice big bacon buttie for breakfast or I’ll be starving by 9am!

Morning. Yay it’s Friday !
