Group 7-day waking average?

Good morning! Woke to a 5.9 which after an hour and before insulin was 6.0. 7-day TIR now back to 80%.

First thing today is my financial spreadsheets as money is tight. Then tidying and cleaning as had not noticed how bad things had become whilst suffering nearly two months of side effects. New antibiotics tomorrow - just hope they are both as nasty!

Sky a mixture of mid-grey, light grey and white with a few small blue bits but no idea if it will be rain or shine.
 
Morning all. 7.1. Weather here is bright sunshine though frosty. I might try and get out to cut back the plants in pots as they'll need to go back outside soon. Nothing else planned, hoping for a lazy day for a change.

@Lucyr I hope your dad is ok.

Around 6.3 if I remember correctly on waking today, shortly afterwards dawn made an appearance and it was 7.9 when I had my breakfast bolus.

Still, good night all in range thanks to a low ish carb sea bass on a small bed of noodles last night at our retirement meal with family and friends. Really lovely night and a great way to celebrate the start of our retirement.

Oh, you are spot on about the job characteristics! :rofl: We do get some "thank you for your hard work" which I personally appreciate, but would appreciate even more if they made it less hard. Mainly by getting proper numbers of staff when it it busy! And yes, unsociable hours, is not usual that I get a full Sunday off. That's why I jumped to the opportunity to see friends who are free on the weekend. Why is that so hard to understand for this supervisors? 🙄

I haven't heard the word pillock before so I feel is safer to not use it :D

I did think it was probably northern, we have a few words meaning the same. Divvy is my favourite, not as harsh as pillock, a bit more playful. I regularly use it, like when Mr Eggy has done something daft like spill his cuppa. Or nit, that’s a good one! I’m not a one for profanity, in my opinion it’s overused so much now it’s lost its impact. I’m more a blooming heck sort of person. If I’m really annoyed I may let loose a s**t, not literally I hasten to add! :rofl:

Oh I’m looking forward to it. He’s planted aubergines, chillis, sweet peppers and tomatoes so far. I’ll be thrilled if the aubergines are a success, they are so expensive now. Aldi want 90p for one! They were 60p last year. I also use loads of chillis but I waste a lot too as there’s too many in a pack and they go off. It’ll be nice to just pick what I want. I’m secretly excited about the greenhouse too.
 
Morning all. Dull, grey and rainy. It was nice yesterday for a change!

6.4 this morning - the hunters pie with celeriac topping caused barely a rise last night.

Not much on today, but maybe I should attack the ironing as we may need to pack some of the stuff for our little break this week. Spare ribs a la Gordon Ramsey for dinner https://www.gordonramsay.com/gr/recipes/crazy-sticky-ribs/ though I only do less than half the quantity and cut down on the sugar a lot.

Freeze the excess chillis, they freeze well. I chop some before freezing and just leave some whole. I love a roast aubergine too. I've a recipe for Tarator (almond) sauce that's divine with Aubergine.
 
Good morning everyone! 6'8 this morning.

Had a nice breakfast of eggs, bacon and few berries and now I'm on the train to visit friends. They suggested a walk in a zone I don't know yet, at the moment the sun is gorgeous so sounds like a great plan to me. There will be more people, all Spanish I think, can be nice to feel more social for once.

My friend suggested going to the cinema to see Dune part 2. I hadn't watched the first one so did it yesterday in case we chose this plan. Now she is not in the mood, I don't blame her, I'm not sure if I want to spend 3 hours in the cinema either!

I grow chillies but usually have lots which I freeze but it is usually a voyage of discovery as I'm never sure how hot they are going to be.
 
It was a 7.1 for me this morning.After a night where high alarm kept going off at 12;3 took 3 correction doses and turned the alarm off .Least my nose has stopped running.Just my chest now .Least I got a bit sleep last night Haven't had much if any the two nights previous.Had a lie in till 11.15 this morning.Get housework done cook beef joint for dinner then get dog out for a good walk this afternoon.Have a good day folks whatever your doing
