Group 7-day waking average?

Good morning. 4.9 for me. Back to work today, missing the bank holidays on Mondays  - next one I'm on annual leave that whole week anyway.

Busy weekend coming up when I will take a couple of days to pretend that I can still eat whatever I like (going to an event without kids, though bf is now coming with me). I think I might put my extra Libre2 in today (sent by Abbott due to the last one veering to "hypo" for days despite actual BG between 4 and 8) so it will hopefully be settled by then and give me some interesting information on how high and long I might spike after too many carbs, or if the walking I will be doing and drinking of alcohol along with eating cakes will hold it in somewhat.

6.4 for me today, and a much better line overnight, still don’t think the sensor is quite right but I’ll take it! Got my consultant appt today ( my second ever since diagnosis) and feeling a bit apprehensive… let’s see what he says!

Well, it seems like it's my turn today.....

Very happy with that. I did get a low alarm at 6am for a 4.1 which I decided to ignore and go back to sleep as it was close to getting up time and no evening Levemir in my system to drop me lower and fully expected levels to start rising which they clearly did. This is my 6th day of no evening Levemir and it is working well for me at the moment..... apart from the night I ate too much peanut butter 🙄. Slept like a log. Really blissful restorative sleep , which is usually the case if I can get my BG levels nice and low and steady. (sorry @ColinUK no gloating.... would happily send you one if I could)

Really don't need a house guys as I can't keep on top of the one I have got but appreciate the thought.

I also have an interesting 7 day daily pattern too.... "a tadpole" to add to our menagerie of unicorns and flatfish and the occasional porpoise.

Needless to day I have better management of my BG when I am awake 🙄 . It also shows I have my breakfast spike well and truly tamed.....it makes it look like I don't eat breakfast!
Anyway, must head out and start the day. I got very little done yesterday with helping other people, so today is catch up day.

Morning all, 6.7 here. Glad to have had a steady night with no dips to the red. We did a long and boggy walk yesterday, and I’m unfit, I haven’t done anything as steep since we did the hidden valley in Glencoe last October. Cotswolds just don’t cut the mustard compared with proper Northern moorland. I spent yesterday afternoon and evening trying to keep my levels from plummeting, even though I’d reduced basal by 2 units (that’s 30%, I only take 6in a morning). Today we're heading for Bempton cliffs and Flanborough Head, so no doubt will do a lot of up and downing.

Morning all. 🙂 10.2 here...yup, Dawn’s back!

I wonder how many students I’ll have today. It’s hard making sure they’re all up to speed on the current topic when there’s bank holidays and random absences. Fingers (toes, eyes, teeth...) crossed I get this Welsh teaching job for September. At least it’ll be more work and more consistent class numbers - once learning Welsh has got its claws into you, it’s hard to break free, hahahahaha...happy Monday everyone! 🙂

I know what you mean @Robin. We gave up on Cadair Idris cos our legs n lungs were begging us to stop. We don’t get those types of steep inclines on our daily beach walk LOL. Enjoy! 🙂

@rebrascora you might not need a house but you’re getting one anyway!

8.7 - Definitely coming down with a cold. TIR an awfully low 32% with lots of yellow on the chart for yesterday.
Hopefully today will be better.

6.8 today... still not on a downward trend :(

Well done @rebrascora on the HS. 🙂
5.6 for me today.

Morning

8.6 today, with a sore throat, yesterday I spend most of the day shivering, and had a very low temperature of 35, when the sun came out I sat outside in the warmth but still had a sweatshirt on and a blanket over me.

Woke up with an anxiety attack, which probably hasn’t helped my levels. I only had 4 days off of work and I feel really panicked about logging on today.

@rebrascora - congratulations on your HS, pleased to see you were still supplied with a house.

Congrats Barbara. What about some new stables instead of a house. @ColinUK get on to it please.

Ooh! Hope you get to see the puffins at Bempton, along with lots of other seabirds of course. Should be seals at Flamborough too. I’m jealous. Enjoy.
This is what we're hoping, haven’t seen puffins since we went to Iceland about 10 years ago. We saw Curlews and Lapwings up on the moors yesterday, and heard a cuckoo all the way round, Particularly at the moment OH was felled by a head height branch he'd failed to see because he was wearing a baseball cap with a long peak, and concentrating on not putting his feet in the bog, and landed on his back in the mud looking like a stranded beetle.

I know I shouldn’t laugh but as someone who can trip up over the pattern on the carpet, I’m glad it’s just not me who always comes back from a walk caked in mud. Hope it was only his pride that was hurt.
Fingers crossed for lots and lots of puffins. We went Bempton a few years ago at the end of July, which is late for puffins but we spotted two, so you’ve got a very good chance.

Good morning. 6.00

Some large clouds about but met promising sunny intervals. It is a bit chilly in the study after beguiling a bee out through the window. There are so few pollinators about that every one is worth saving.

Planning on visiting local quarry to see if they have some more suitable stones for around the pond. Am a bit worried that when I pull the bulrushes out there will be a leak and a need to replace the liner. Approximately 200 fish plus water lillies would need temprorary accomodation...No more planting up after yesterday as all pots, troughs etc are full and and only 4 gaps in the pond edge planting. The replacements are in the tunnel with the courgettes which are awaiting settled weather.

Had a great time with chum yeterday but note that smug Briallen has shed her brand new leather slip over night. So that's me putting a charged battery back in the jeep and setting off round the fields on a voyage of discovery. Harrumph.

Hope everyone has a good day. Congratulations to @rebrascora on the HS and a more stable pattern.

5.1 for me this morning, after a tea of chicken, vegetables and potatoes last night. My wife made some roast potatoes that were so nice I thought it would be rude not to eat them - BG didn't go above six at the 1 and 2 hour point.

Good morning 7.1 for me today, must do better!

Congratulations @rebrascora on your HS - super jealous of your nice stable in range charts! Amazing work!

Day of work, dentist then collecting my wife from work at 9pm as she is working a long day today. No doubt BG will not behave.

Have a good day everyone!

Morning all, I'm joining harbottle with a 5.1 this fine sunny morning.
