Group 7-day waking average?

Morning folks. 7.4 here.

Omnipod 5 is really doing its thing now, giving me some lovely TIRs last week and over the weekend. Workdays are still a challenge. Spoke to my DSN who had a few suggestions for me. It’s the timing for Activity mode that’s the main problem atm and going low towards the end of a walk. Still a work in progress but isn’t diabetes always that way? It is in my experience!

Good luck @Lauren!

Morning all, 3.5 according to the Libre, but I think it’s telling porkies. I’ve left my finger bodger and strips downstairs, so can’t check right now. I’ve just swapped to my first Libre 2+. Hope this isn’t a bad omen, and it’s just that I was lying on the sensor when I woke up.

Morning all. 5.2! Today a friend is coming round for craft, chat and a cuppa then later i shall be packing for a few days away.

@eggyg i'm glad things went ok yesterday.

Have a good day everyone.

I’ve just swapped to my first Libre 2+
I had a GP appointment yesterday and asked to swap to the 2+. His answer was that their pharmacists swap me when its time. I'm assuming he means when they are discontinued but i'd like to be swapped before, not wait until the last minute. I'm leaving it a couple of weeks then ringing to speak to the surgery pharmacists directly.

Good morning everyone. 4'6 on Libre and 6'6 on finger prick, with one jelly baby on board that maybe Libre hadn't notice yet.

I applied a new sensor at bedtime and was woken at 2 am by a low alarm. "Argh, I am sleeping on the wrong side and got a compression", I thought, turned around, fell asleep again. Got another alarm at 6, popped that jelly baby just in case and slept another 40 minutes. Now my graph has a red stretch between the two low alarms. I can't think of a reason for that so probably this sensor is reading low. Maybe it just needs to settle in? Anyway I wasn't very happy when I got up.

Have a good day!

Morning

4.9 today, got to see the baby yesterday, she is beautiful, her name is Darcie Florence and she weighed in at 7lb 3oz but has lost quite a bit of weight now weighing in at 6lb 7oz, she was so dinky.

DN nurse today and being weighed, going to ask to go up to the next level of Mounjaro as I suddenly seem to have stopped losing weight, although blood sugars are still good.

That’s annoying, I asked at my review with the diabetes nurse at the surgery just before Christmas and she arranged for the surgery pharmacist to swap the prescription straight way. They then issued a new scrip for them straight way and sent it to my usual pharmacy, even though I’d only just done a repeat for my old Libre 2s, so I was surprised to be handed an extra package when I collected my usual repeats, but hey ho, better too many than too few, and I just didn’t need to order them the next month.

Congratulations on your HS today. Sorry I forgot to put this on my post.

Morning all - 6.6 here today. I succumbed to a shredded wheat before bed. Hubby had some and I had SUCH a craving and it was delicious. Didn't bolus and didn't make a huge impact. @eggyg I'm so pleased yesterday went as well as could be expected - hopefully Maxie is hard of hearing and didn't notice the name change? Hope Brian isn't suffering too much but as you say a nice relief for them all and last night probably drew a line under things. Have "fun" with all the grandchildren. I might be coming up to Carlisle with Mark later so I'll be sure to wave xxx

Well done @freesia on your HS today. :star:
A 5.4 for me this morning.

Dez

Still stuck in the blasted 6s with a 6.1 this morning, even though all my readings 2 hours after our evening meal have been below 6 over the same period. Answers on a postcard, as they used to say.

Washing machine fixed. It took the engineer only minutes to find that the pump that drains the water away wasn't working as there was a 1" nail jammed in there. After fixing our garden fence I washed what I'd been wearing so I guess there was one in one of the pockets. Anyway, we're back up and running and a whole week's laundry was just about done by the time we turned in last night.

Sky cancelled our Sky Q installation and it's rescheduled for tomorrow morning. Their engineer's previous jobs had taken longer than planned, so they couldn't manage us as well. At least we get £25 off our next bill by way of compensation.

Lovely sunny day here so far. Only grocery shopping and my usual Tuesday swim planned at the moment.

Well done @freesia on your HS this morning.

Have a good day, everyone.

Congratulations, what a lovely name. Babies always seem to lose weight, my daughter was 6lbs 12oz and lost 6oz which doesn't sound a lot but it took a month to regain the weight, she was always tiny and still only 4ft 11in.
2 of my grandchildren were just under 4lbs at birth so amazingly small, but soon caught up.

Good morning all. A 4.4 for me this fine sunny but chilly morning.
