Group 7-day waking average?

6.0 for me this morning which was a relief as I went to bed mid teens with a lot of Fiasp in stacked corrections on board.
I was laid out yesterday all day with what I think was another migraine, but much more gut related than head, my belly was throbbing, but still need my eyes covered. BG levels were under 4 most of the day although thankfully pretty level (in fact it would have been an impressive basal test) but I was too ill to do much about it other than suck on a couple of jelly babies. Usually 2 paracetamol and some time in the dark sort a migraine for me but it started at about 4am and by 5pm I had had 3 lots of paracetamol and still felt so ill I was seriously toying with asking Ian to take me to hospital. Thankfully I started to pick up about 7pm and then my levels came out of the red and sky rocketed and I had 3 stacked corrections to try to bring it down. All due to my liver, as I still wasn't fit to eat anything and continuing to feel rough this morning but a big improvement on yesterday, so I am not complaining and I have managed to keep some yoghurt down for lunch after a coffee for breakfast. I wouldn't care but it followed a lovely Sunday dinner at my sister's, where my brother in law had cooked a fabulous 3 course meal for us, but I was tempted to have more carbs than I normally would and although I didn't feel like it at the time, my stomach clearly thought I had over eaten during the night as it was so bloated. Anyway, I will be much more careful of my eating in the future as yesterday was downright scary!

Hope Brian isn't suffering too much
Hmmmm….he’s just risen from his pit! I took him a pot of tea and a slice of toast at 8. He drank two cups of tea and had one bite of toast! He’s feeling a tad delicate! Apparently they were in the single malts. 😳 He’s got Camera Club tonight, so no rest for him today. I’ve no sympathy. 😉 Self inflicted. I’m just off to pick Camille up and leaving him with Eden. That’ll keep him busy! Enjoy your day.
Just realised I hadn’t press send, this was 10.30 this morning!

Good evening all - it's been quite a bright day, but I've barely noticed it.

5.3 this morning which was somewhat surprising as I started with pain in my neck last evening. It went all down my shoulder and into my middle back. I went to bed fairly early with a hot water bottle (which is only now I've realised is the wrong thing) and a half a Nytrol. I did sleep through, but have spent half the day today huddling on the sofa wrapped in a blanket, dozing on a pillow. Finally rang the chiropractor, only to discover that he's off until Monday when I have an appointment anyway. Was told to put an ice pack on my neck, so here I am with ice pack on my neck/shoulder and a hot water bottle on my lower back!

@Lauren, hope you get on well with the Ypsopump. A friend of mine is doing really well with it. I have just been offered it and am dithering - hate the Omnipod as a pump and the specifications on the Ypsopump would suit me much better, but I'm dithering as to whether I mind going back onto a tubed pump.

@Grannylorraine Darcy Florence is a beautiful name for a little girl!

@eggyg good to hear the funeral went well - poor Brian, but it must have been such a relief to just "let go".

@freesia congrats on your HS.

Have a good evening all!

That's so funny because I read that you'd sent it at 4.54pm and thought that Brian had only just come downstairs then!

6.2 at 6.30am but didn't actually rise until 8.30am on a cloudy day but still feeling very cold. Spent the afternoon at the market seeing the podiatrist with my OH.
We then shivered in the icy blast waiting for a cab to take us to the MiLs to share a large rhubarb pie. Didn't do my BG any good though due to timing, only just coming into view now.

I've been tweaking my basal again thus avoiding evening hypos. Seems to be working.

OH has gone out for the evening to Aglow, while I spend the evening writing emails, catching up on the spreadsheets & messaging folk.

Well done @freesia on your HS, mine is a work in progress.

was rather high this morning with 10.1 upon on waking at 05:55
clearly I had in the middle of the night, over compensated for what my Libra, once it re-connected to me
(hadn’t bought phone into same room) - so no alert.. oops
always thought I had a good hypo awareness but guess that one caught me out, when I woke up at 3am knew definitely I was hypo and not a compression low as had been sweating excessively
was then I realised I had the night before just just dozed off on my bed and not bought phone etc, with me or even put work laptop / mobiles on charge
FP tested & was actually 3.2 and after Libra had reconnected saw the data online anyway

anyway a busy day this morning, following dropping Mrs @goodybags off at 7am I had to meet a customer at 8am, everyday currently busy at work - looks like February is turning into a challenging month for me at work

I have decided on Saturday I will go and do that Football & MH program again, despite being cold & wet last week
then on Sunday my ankle being what’s best described as slightly uncontrollable
rather than painful TBH - yesterday and today that ankle felt fine, So looking forward to Saturday Morning

😎

Just a quick check in. We are now in Clearwater Beach, FL and who would have thought that 70F/21C would feel cold? I guess we were really spoiled by the warmth in the Bahamas! Spent today visiting a couple of malls, an outlet one in north Tampa then a normal one near Tampa airport. Sadly the exchange rate wasn’t what it used to be and things are now similar prices to home. Also we now see the same brands at home, more or less. Still, it was a pleasant day and we saw a bit of the local areas here. Even found a frozen yogurt place on the way back to the hotel 🙂

Hope everyone is ok.

Morning all. First up again! 6.3.

Up early again as I went to bed early as was cream crackered and I had 6 hours solid sleep! Believe me, that’s a lot for me. Woke at 4.30, raring to go, that might have been a slight exaggeration, I don’t do raring these days. But I felt awake and so got up at 5am. Loaf of bread in the machine as I was cleared out yesterday after lunch with the hordes. I made vegetarian mulligatawny soup and it was declared delicious, except the 7 year old, “too spicy” apparently. My youngest daughter was very dismissive when I mentioned it, she said she’d had it before and it was c**p! Turns out it was a tin, how could you ever compare tinned soup with homemade? She loved it. Today we’ve only got four for lunch as opposed to yesterday’s 8 ( and one takeaway). They’re here 8.30-5.30, just a normal childcare day. Hoping to get to the park today, expecting some sunshine, it’s a balmy 3.5 degrees here, warmest it’s been for ages. Thank goodness. I actually feel for the first time in ages that today is a ‘normal’ day. At least Mr Eggy won’t be hungover! 😉

@Grannylorraine loving the name of your new granddaughter. Very cute.

Here’s our two youngest, speaking of grandchildren, 12 months and six months. The youngest has just learnt to sit up so it’s their first time “playing” together. It didn’t last long! Eden wasn’t keen on Rocco touching “her toys”!

Morning lovely ones 🙂

I’m only awake because of Mr Quills rotten alarm.
First morning with Libre 2 Plus and it gave me a 5.3.
Finger jabber said 6.9 though so maybe just settling in some more? Was bang on the money yesterday.

Hope you all have a super day :care:

Good morning
much more reasonable wake up reading from me today with a 6.9

no overnight lows last night which was a relief, fell asleep again before I plugged anything to charge
Including phone, so had to plug that into charge before seeing my Libra readings
did a FP test (FP 7.2 Libra 6.9 FP so will go with 6.9)

work is mentally exhausting me the last few days
Have a wonderful Wednesday everyone 😎

Morning a 6.2 for me and apart from when my alarm went off at 3 and took 3 Dextrose I spent all night in 5s/6s so a Unicorn and up to 98% TIR so doing OK.
Day in Chester today which is always pleasant and traffic quiet as half term so being a decent week.
Whatever you are up to have a good one and hopefully weather is like me getting more balmy ( barmy) every day.🙂

Damn, we’ve pressed send at the same time. Should we call it a draw? :D
Well you were up before me so i'll let you have it  . Photos are lovely.

Morning all. 6.1 here. A fun time last night playing tunes and singing a few songs with friends. Bit of a sore head this morning, though, courtesy of a few pints of Guinness. My current G7 sensor is occasionally losing BlueTooth connection to my phone, which is REALLY annoying.
