Group 7-day waking average?

Morning all. 🙂 5.5 here.

Driving back to Swansea this morning - Bristol was hot hot hot yesterday but it cooled down for our family bash in the evening. Lots of fun but so sad to see our Ukrainian friends leaving.

Looks cooler out there. I'll head down the beach for paddle later.

Morning everyone. A grey sky and very windy start to the day here,

Anyway, with a 5.2 earlier it’s a happy day and if the weather doesn’t change I’ll be able to get out in the garden and get some jobs done.

Have a great day everyone and stay well.
Congratulations on your HS today

6.8

Tossing and turning overnight due to heat.

I like some weight to my bedding even in summer so I struggle with finding suitable duvets for weather conditions like those we’ve been having recently. Ideally I need a 3 or 4 tog duvet that weighs like one that’s 13. No chance. So I’m considering buying a bed jet.

Oh and the dance thing at Sadler’s East yesterday was one of those productions that clearly involves talent but that I hated on a visceral level from start to finish.

Good moaning! An irritating 12.9. I had two hypos yesterday. The one mid-afternoon I dealt with without telling anyone bsr my visitor. The evening one I couldn't hide and so overtreated.

Had bloods taken after breakfast. I felt it was a duplicate of those done at outpatients 10 days ago and asked if they have access to the hospital results? I got the impression this was difficult
In fact everything about the place difficult. The physios cannot even get an answer to when van I fully weight bear on the foot..

Have a good day all...

8.1 after a steady rise from 3am from 5 after a very sticky night, tossing and turning to get some kip.
The weather is much more reasonable today than of late - even had a spot or two of rain this about half an hour back!

Back to a normal breakfast reaction today than the 17.6 yesterday - more like 12 today, falling steadily after doing exercise including running up and down the stairwell 3-4 times - until I has breathless and legs jellified!

The builder started up this morning by demolishing my kitchen wall, putting in a layer of damp-proofing to, before building it back up. It'll look good when he finishes, I hope.

Congratulations @Barrowman on you HS.

Sorry to hear that you are having such a frustrating time. It would be nice if the communication was better. I hope things improve and you get more regular physio.

I was tempted by a piece of vanilla cheesecake in the cafe at John Lewis after we dropped off the old computer at the Apple shop. I hadn't taken my trurapi with me as I hadn't anticipated eating anything, let's just say I have ruined my almost 3 week long 100% TIR.
It was very tasty though 🙂

Late on parade today due to Dentist appointment at 09:15 and then needing to crack on with re-felting our summer house roof before - would you Adam 'n' Eve it - showers were forecast. Felt's on now so just need to seal the overlaps and tidy up the edges. Had to stop for one light shower just before lunch. Much cooler today with a nice breeze and the sun playing peek-a-boo. 5.8 when I tested this morning.

Back to the usual 3 WFH Monday :( so good that I'm outside and well out of everyone's way.

Congratulations @Barrowman on your HS

Enjoy what's left of the day..

Good morning fine form folks. 7.4 today. The sun is shining so more laundry to do as its forecast rain most of tomorrow. Must mow the lawn too. It hasn't grown much lately but there are a lot of seed heads and weeds. The chickens will enjoy them.
Forgot to mention yesterday about a weird BG anomaly. I got stung by my bees on my left hand. It swelled up quite a bit this time. 3 stings in a relatively small area. My fingers are OK My BG before dinner was 6. Had dinner, checked hive and got stung. Checked BG 2 hrs after dinner 22.2 😱 I had ratatouille with a small slice of ciabatta for dinner, about 45g carbs.
Realised I used finger on left hand and suspect the massive histamine reaction could have affected BG . Using my right hand for FP until the swelling subsides. The readings are normal.
Have a good week ahead despite whatever the weather gods send your way.
Glad to hear you enjoyed your Cotswolds break @Wendal
Thanks SM and hope you get better soon.
It was nice and as we did not take any dogs it did give us a bit more freedom.
It is funny as my wife just loves charity shop visits and I like taking in the atmosphere and just walking about and having coffee and cake.
But we rub along and she is happy if I do the driving and I am happy if she is happy.
Planning our next break in September so probably East Yorkshire and I will likely have a trip up to Northumberland next month on my own just to visit family .

Funny old day here in Cornwall. One minute it's lashing it down and the next it's clear blue sky. Has been like that since 7am when I woke up.

10.3 this morning, no idea why. It was a perfik flat line around 5 until 05:00 when it suddenly went haywire. Don't feel obliged to read on if you aren't interested.....

I am home now, at least for the forseeable future, since we are cancelling our planned holiday on 3rd September when we were going by car to France and down to the Dordogne area, basing ourselves in Sarlat. As some of you will know, I have just returned from France where I was rushed off the ship on the evening of our 40th wedding anniversary whilst on a wine tasting river cruise. I've written the story here if anyone is interested.

I'm still rather weak and needing afternoon naps, but hopefully getting a little stronger each day. We got home last Tuesday and with little time left we went off to stay at the Polurrian Hotel on the Lizard for the wedding of a very old and good friend who has spent her life on her own bringing up two children in the most exemplary way after being left by her husband with a bankruptcy. She is now 73 and had the most lovely wedding which we were privileged to attend. The weather couldn't have been more perfect! I had to keep sitting down and on one occasion during the speeches go for a little nap, but I wouldn't have missed it for the world.

Anyway.... hoping I am now back amongst you alll.... and congrats to all the HSs I have missed congratulating whilst I've been lurking
