Group 7-day waking average?

@PattiEvans that Banana Bread especially served with a Proper Custard sounds Delicious
dread to imagine what something like that would do to my BS
I shall only have a taste!

Morning all. 5.8.

MIL’s funeral today, 10.45am for the church, which is close by, then across town to the crematorium and back for the wake. It’s going to be a long and exhausting day I suspect, (physically and mentally.) It’s a huge family, she was one of nine, and there’s a few coming from down south ie Yorkshire and Lancashire, that’s south for us! One of those situations where you only see them at weddings and funerals.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning All and a 6.1 for me.Was low before bed so had a protein bar and no correction dose and pretty flat night.
Thoughts are with you and yours @eggyg on this sad day.
Did absolutely nothing yesterday except laze around and wife’s birthday today so will be a lot more happening but no particular celebrations but will get callers which will make her happy.
She does not do surprises and is happiest with family and dogs around her so we will enjoy the day in our own quiet way.
Have a good week all

Good morning! 5'8 today.

Yesterday was the day for my trip to Ikea. I had planned to avoid going on a weekend but I happened to get the day off and I was impatient! I enjoyed the experience, even though it was overstimulating and I ended up exhausted. I spent the whole train trip there reading (and feeling proud of that), on the way back I didn´t bother taking out the book! At least I didn´t have hypos to add to the mix: I´ve noticed I tend to go low when wandering around shops so I reduced my morning basal.

I finally have my bed and mattress ordered. I´m glad I didn´t wait longer to go to Ikea, otherwise I probably wouldn´t get a delivery before my moving date. And I picked a fake plant and a 50p candle so didn´t leave with empty hands, of course :D

Now is just bedding to buy, it might be a trip to ASDA (I'm fancy like that). I'm not to fussed about that, I can always get something nicer in a couple of months, unlike the bed itself which I hope lasts me a long time!

morning 5.7 today

Yesterday didn’t do half of what I had planned to do, best described as one of those weekends where whoosh it’s Monday already

hopefully today goes to plan for you today @eggyg thoughts with you and your family

I’m meeting with my manager this morning (out in the field) - think it will be a busy day today

I’m glad my next DMO eye clinic is only a fortnight away as although my distance vision is quite good (well above the required to drive)
but for close up Im once again squinting and mostly using my left eye again for using computer phone etc

im looking forward to getting back to being able to go for a swim & possibly using Gym again
not that I used to use the Gym before
used to go to Virgin to swim a few lengths & use the health suite (membership currently frozen since before Christmas when I had a bad toe & my eye issue)

Happy Monday 🙂
TC & HAGD

Thinking of you all today @eggyg

5.9 for me today. Dentist. Just for a check up and it’s a pleasant 40 minute walk along the canal so hopefully it’ll stay dry.

Blue skies and sunshine today just for a change, along with a 5.8 this morning it’s a good start to my day.

Have a good day everyone and stay well.

My thoughts are with you @eggyg
Well done @zippyjojo on the HS :star: :star:
A near miss for me today with a 5.3.

Morning

4.4 and second attempt to see our new baby granddaughter as on Friday she had to go to the hospital because of her jaundice and got kept in for the day, she came home with a light blanket which she was able to stop using on Saturday.

@eggyg - thinking of you today.

@zippyjojo - congratulations on consecutive HS.

Here are some of the bits I have crotchet for the new baby, plus loads of cardigans. Oh and the Nut Cracker that I kept forgetting to post.

4.6 today
I'll be decluttering all my cupboards/bookshelves this week so starting this morning. Will be listening to my 80s Cheese playlist while I do so :D
Eye screening this afternoon! Cloudy so doubt I'll need sunnies but will take them just in case.

@Grannylorraine the crochet is fab! I love them all. Has the baby got a name yet? I hope you get to see her today and have a lovely cuddle.

@zippyjojo congrats on the HS

Washing machine engineer due this morning, Sky engineer this afternoon, so I'm going to be spending most of the day at home although, as my wife and our eldest WFH on Mondays, there'll always be someone here if I need to pop out.

Worthwhile trip to the Audi dealer yesterday. Our A1 is coming up to 6 years old and they offered us a deal on a brand new one that was pretty much the same as the deal we got when we bought our current one 3 years ago when it was already 3 years old. No-brainer really, so we went ahead and we pick it up on 1st March. Same model, but automatic. I had read that manual gearboxes are in the minority for new car sales these days anyway.

Our youngest was much brighter this morning when he got up for his 7-till-4 shift, more like his usual self, which was good to see.

@eggyg - will be thinking of you both today.

Congratulations @zippyjojo on another HS. All I could manage was a 6.2 this morning.

Hope everyone's Monday Blues have gone and you have a good start to the week.
