Group 7-day waking average?

Yes. I was a tad confused too. @Martin.A I’m buying you and Mr Eggy this. 😛
Oops....! Posting about both the washing machine engineer and Sky coming on Monday clearly addled my brain. Please don't tell my wife 😉

And it was a 4.9 for me much earlier on this wet day...

Congratulations @mashedupmatt and @Pam123 on your HSs.

7.7 this morning which was surprising as I had a large portion of Sticky Toffee Pudding last night! But it quickly rose to 10.6 on this cold still day. Cloudy with a promise of something later - probably rain.

The hotel we stayed in was brilliant in attention, but our room was defunt in heating and we spent 2 hours in our coats. They staff provided us with an electric heater which started to heat us after an hour or so, then the main heating kicked in. All in all Valentines night was very successful and we are content at home, but just a little tired as we only had about three hours sleep - the mattress was way to soft.

6.1 for me this morning, but took a 2 unit increase in evening Levemir and a 2 unit correction sometime during the early hours to get there.
I jabbed my morning Levemir and 2 units of Fiasp to cover FOTF and got up and 5 mins later my high alarm was going off at 8.2, so I jabbed another 2units. Normally that first 2 units of Fiasp holds me steady or even drops me slightly but not this morning. Seems like I am suddenly needing more insulin overnight and early morning after a pleasant period of needing less. All I can do is go with the flow!

7.7 today, following not really a good nights sleep
Late on parade again yes, but I was up and out early today

Why am I late today ?
earlier headed across the county to see a farmer who had yesterday had a few Pigs Butchered, I had requested something for Mrs @goodybags
this cut of pork is something not sold in the supermarket or most butchers (Pork Jowl) she wanted to make a traditional Thai dish (served in the Issan region of Thailand)
she hasn’t eaten this for years, the Jowl usually isn’t readily available unless requested from a butcher.

then I’ve been and done my first week on health & fitness well-being event, it was the second week this program ran,
but the first week I joined, something I’m going to do most Saturday mornings, today was very cold & wet not ideal weather for outside sport / exercise really, but I’m really glad I did it.

Congrats to @Pam123 & @mashedupmatt on your HS’s

thinking we seen @dannybgoode post for a few days - maybe he’s been busy, or have I just missed his posts ?

Have a Super Smashing Saturday everyone
TC 😎

Is pig's jowl otherwise known as pig's cheek? If it is then you can order it from Morrisons. I used to cook it with spices and pomegranate seeds. It was lovely. I'd forgotten about that dish, must do it again if I can get the cheeks.

It’s simular but apparently the Jowel (which is the underside of the head)is more fatty and quite rich in flavour, usually it just alongside other parts of the head goes into sausages according to Mrs @goodybags, who cooked them this afternoon, there I was thinking it was going to be a complicated to cook dish, but she simply grilled them in the mini oven then sliced them up and she will eat with some special sauce as a dip

Thanks to @eggyg @rebrascora and @freesia for the suggestions regarding the bed buying.
Have you tried any of the selling pages or freebie pages on Facebook? Then you’d just need a new mattress. I see loads on our pages in our area quite often for free as they just want rid of them and saves them having to pay someone to take them away. Might be worth a try.
I did think of that, always good to save something! But I've not been lucky, most of the offers in my area are not my style or look a bit suspicious (e.g. they say it's free and then ask for "cash on collection" 🙄 ). And the two I did contact left me on read.

Morning a 5.8 for me and another flat line with no correction doses last night so BG doing OK at the moment.
Met our friends yesterday and really nice meet up.Arrived at 1030 then brunch and cake and 2 hours later we left so a really good catch up which we all enjoyed.
Then literally just sat at home watching Netflix( just started Yellowstone ) so will be occupied for months.A couple of brisk walks to get the steps in and to stay warm whilst out and looking forward to it warming up a bit and lighter mornings which are becoming more noticeable.
Have a good day all

A very early morning for me ….. Sunday and 1/2 term ! Have nephews and niece staying they get up early !
