Group 7-day waking average?

Morning all. 5.1, close but no cigar.

Had a lie in until almost 8, haven’t slept though but I was resting. Our last quiet day for a while, funeral tomorrow and it’s half term, so you know what that means! As well as our usual pre schoolers child care. I think we have a free minute on Friday.😉

Have a smashing, sunny Sunday. It’s blooming cold up here again but we have a bit of sunshine so all is well.

A 4.8 for me this morning. 🙂 The Sunday cryptic crossword beckons.

Dez

8.3 for me this morning and that with another unit of Levemir and a correction unit of Fiasp when I climbed into bed on 7.4 which I wouldn't normally correct at but had a feeling I might need it.

Morning all
7.7 for me bit higher than normal but ok still in my range
You all take care and have a good Sunday
Im looking forward to my Sunday roast They do a good roast at LH and i have the works in moderation with lots of veg
gail

Still stuck the wrong side of the border with a 6.1 today.

After thinking that yesterday was Monday, check out this conversation with my wife at half-seven this morning:-

Wife - You're up and dressed early
Me - Washing Machine Engineer will be here anytime after 8
Wife - I thought that was tomorrow
Pause
Me: Oh - it's Sunday today.

I blame her because she got up not long after 7, like she does on a work day, but she'd only gone to check on our youngest who she'd heard throwing up in our downstairs loo. He's not ill, he can literally worry himself sick. This time it was a meeting today with his manager now that he's more or less recovered from his fractured collarbone.

Have an appointment later with the Audi dealership from where we bought our car, as it'll be 6 years old come April and they've asked if we want to trade it in for a new one. Probably about time so we'll see what deals they have.

Enjoy your Sunday, everyone. See - I can sometimes get it right.

Morning all. A much better 5.1 this morning.

Plans for today include waiting for a call from a GP. I know! Its Sunday!! Last week i emailed the surgery with a general question about self referral or speaking to a GP. (Re my heel, i have an appointment with a GP tomorrow re something else and was wondering whether to speak about this as well, even though they say one complaint per appointment.) Anyway, on Friday night i had a call from the surgery saying that a GP would be calling me at some point today!

Very dull, grey and damp here. Have a good day everyone.

Good morning 6.9

today need to catch up with quite a few household jobs, Including cooking up dinners for the next few weeks (for freezer) plus really need to do some work related prep to make the rest of the month go better than the first 2 did

Overnight my ankle was telling me, I pushed it slightly to much yesterday and this morning there’s a slight discomfort in it, but other than that I really enjoyed it
think I will get a lot out of the Physical & MH program I started yesterday, and already looking forward to next Saturdays session, might have to go slightly more gentle on that ankle next week though
also I hope it will be warmer & dryer.

Have a Superb Sunday

Morning everyone. A happy 4.9 for me today after going to bed on a 11.1 last night.

Have a good day everyone and stay well.

Thanks to @eggyg @rebrascora and @freesia for the suggestions regarding the bed buying.

I did think of that, always good to save something! But I've not been lucky, most of the offers in my area are not my style or look a bit suspicious (e.g. they say it's free and then ask for "cash on collection" 🙄 ). And the two I did contact left me on read.
Some of the charity shops sell furniture, British Heart Foundation, Barnados, Salvation Army, It is sometimes actually new stock they are given from shops closing or similar.

Morning All. So, 34 years ago today I married my hubby and I woke today to a 5.2 for the first time EVER. But I was so over-excited that my fingers completely forgot how to take a screenshot and after fumbling around for what felt like minutes but was probably 30 seconds it crept up to 5.3 (honestly it was 5.2 though).

And as is the way with our wedding anniversaries - Mark is no-where to be seen as he had to go off early for boat training with the Mountain Rescue Team over in Maryport (I know, it's Mountain Rescue but they have an emergency rib on Ullswater). He's actually done a huge amount of rib driving in the past so he will be very useful to them. I came downstairs and found a lovely bouquet of flowers and a card and I'm driving over to Maryport at lunchtime to meet him and will probably take a flask of soup and rolls to have in the car. And they say romance is dead!

Have a lovely day everyone. Oh and my TIR is at an all time high of 97% this week and in the 90s for 1 month so I think this on-line nutrition thingy I'm doing is definitely keeping me on the straight and narrow, and I'm working out the right amount of insulin to give, but some days have hardly taken any (apart from basal). I've lost 5lbs in weight over the last month so I'm very happy with that - just from really thinking about reducing high calorie foods (but not banning them) and making sure I get a decent amount of protein with every meal.IMG_5910.jpegIMG_5915.jpeg

Happy Anniversary @zippyjojo and congrats on the HS

Morning all - light overcast that's letting a bit of watery sun through and a stiff breeze. Not so depressing as it has been, though yesterday the sun came out and we went for a short walk on the coast path.

5.9 first thing. So relieved to see 5 anything after 6 months of the evil Omnipod HCL where anything in the 7s and 8s was the norm.

Today I am going to make banana bread and proper custard. This evening we are having a "Games night" hosted by a friend in the village. This means he will make a meal for 5 of us - the banana loaf and custard we will take as dessert - and then we will play a board game. This evening we shall be playing "Rat Race" (Described as "the madcap game of social climbing," players attempt to acquire status and cash in order to make their way from Working Class to High Society and become the wealthiest player by the end of the game. Wikipedia) I have had this game since about 1973 and it's still hilarious to play. It'll be our turn next - but we'll need someone else to dig out their elderly game.

Congratulations to @zippyjojo on your HS and Happy Anniversary    <3<3<3:party::party::party:

Have a super Sunday everyone.

Morning all and 7.2 for me

Evening levels need looking at again. Decided to reduce my bolus slightly after two nights of going low after tea. Went high then low in the early hours after a cautious correction. I have a plan so let's see.

Saw an alto sax on a charity's e bay site. Should be with me middle of the week. It's gold and rust but for the price I'm not complaining.

Have a good day everyone.

Congratulations on your HS and Happy Anniversary.

Hope you have a happy anniversary @zippyjojo and congratulations on the HS!

7.9 this morning followed by a couple of chocolates, so the reading was 9.2 at breakfast - oh dear.

Woke to blue sky and white cloud, it feels warmer? Maybe the CH is doing some overtime?

@Congratulations on the HS @zippyjojo :star:
also Happy Anniversary to you & your Husband

@PattiEvans that Banana Bread especially served with a Proper Custard sounds Delicious
dread to imagine what something like that would do to my BS

Wow! 5.2, wedding anniversary, TIR of 97, and you’ve lost 5lbs! Put the lottery on now!
Many, many congratulations for everything, and enjoy your flask of soup in Scaryport, as the locals call it, I personally really like Maryport. Enjoy. Xx
