Group 7-day waking average?

Good morning 5.6 today

just getting ready for work, busy day today

one thing been wondering 🙄 ….. if anyone uses / has used - the Noctura 400 home treatment sleep mask to help them treat, Diabetic Related eye conditions, I found it elsewhere on the internet, after quite some deliberation. I decided to send off and try a 3 month supply to see if it helps my eye

Have a Wonderful Wednesday 😎
I started a 3 month course yesterday the first night was fine but I experienced more blurry vision than normal, having spoke directly to the company I was assured it was nothing to worry, this morning after my second night my vision is better than before I started, I know it is very early days but so far so good.

8.9 for me the first time I woke up which I am disappointed with as I had 2 units of Levemir last night. Jabbed 4 units Fiasp to correct and deal with DP and went back to sleep and when I awoke again, my sensor had ended and I hadn't bothered to apply a new one last night so I am flying blind for a bit. Jabbed another 5 units for breakfast and ate it more or less straight away. Nice to have a break from the relentless data sometimes.
Still snotty and coughing my guts up and getting a bit tired of it now. Starting to think I may need to start using my preventer (steroid) inhaler. Not needed it since a couple of months after I had Covid Nov 23 and before that it was years since I had needed it but definitely feeling a bit chesty and not making as speedy a recovery as I feel I should. Really annoying when the weather is this good and there is so much that needs doing when the weather is fine. Sorry to be a bit negative, especially on such a glorious day. Hope you all have a good one.

@Elenka_HM I get very frustrated at times with online stuff, nothing is ever straight forward, is it? Hope it gets sorted soon, otherwise, when’s the wedding? We’ll all come! 😉
Of course the forum crowd is invited, although we need a bigger venue if you all show up! Are you cooking something? 😛

8.4 when I had my morning basal, 7.2 when I breakfasted at 1030.

Had to get to Costas at midday for a meeting, then to the banks' ATM. Back home now while my OH has gone foraging. BG steady at 11 as I consumed a slice of cake, a packet of crisps and a chocolate biscuit as I needed a carby fix!
I had to repair the front doors' bottom trim too. BG steady away at 10 now after a correction of 3u.

Hope you all are having a brilliant day and relishing the weather!

Hi everyone! 6 this morning.

Good news, I finally found the way to complete my application! The fake engagement with my friend is off, but that didn´t stop us from joking about it all morning in our book club o_O It might take a while to get the resolution but I did my part for now. Next step, provide the references for my tenancy checks. And then, when all the formalities are over, I´ll get my day trip to Ikea!

Well, today was less swinging about & actually did eat all 3 meals today with recognisable meal hills although, the first meal was a bit of a mountain! Just about one of these 🙂

Beginning to look semi normal, for me. Still the odd cramp today but, not as crampy as yesterday. Don’t know if it was a very light cycle as I’ve tended to have discharges quite often this year & need panty liners most days? BS seems to be settling down at last today & I’ll see what the dinner hill looks like, JUST finished eating it, before I go to bed? So, one more last meal hill to come on today’s graph! 🙄

Morning a 5.8 for me after going to bed with a 6 and apart from 3 glucose tablets when alarm went off in wee hours another flat line and a Unicorn.
So lovely day yesterday in South Manchester and similar planned today.Having new phone delivered which I hate as have to download everything and set up security checks etc.
Was cold and frosty this morning walking the dogs so not out for long but do love these days as really gets the blood flowing as long as you are wrapped up so hat, gloves, scarf and coat.
Whatever your weather enjoy.

Morning all. 5.7 and it’s frosty here too.

Hectic day yesterday with the girls, it was a lovely sunny day, albeit with quite a fresh breeze, so we went to the park. It’s been a while as the weather just hasn’t played ball latterly. Even Zara remarked that we hadn’t been to the park for ages!

Today is cut and colour day, a number 2 for Mr Eggy, into town for a bit of lunch, put Mr E’s funeral suit in the cleaners, go to butchers for our Cumberland ring, then to our very own tea and coffee emporium for Darjeeling. Up to funeral directors to sign a form to say we’ll pay the “extras” for the funeral, and finally, pop to middle daughter’s to take her a casserole dish which was her grandma’s. Then we are closed for business until next Tuesday. Can’t wait, two days at home, then three days in our favourite Lake District hotel to re charge our batteries and get spoiled, we hope, they changed hands 2/3 years ago and when we were there last time the standards had slipped but the prices were still high, we said at the time we wouldn’t go back but we’re giving them one last chance and hoping it was just teething problems. Hoping this time it will be back to what we have come to know and love. If not, it’ll be the last time, which is a great shame.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning all 8.3
Woke with a high alarm and vertical arrow so did a correction, was going to go back to bed but the cats are up and hoping for breakfast so that's me up.
Off to the yard in a bit, deep clean of the safety boat before we redo the flooring. Then a frustrating IT issue needs dealing with, just might get that sorted by the end of the week. We've tried before and failed miserably, time to try again.
Have a lovely day whatever you're doing

Morning all. 7.4 for me, after a pretty flat night, albeit with blood sugar running a little on the high side, such that I needed 2 units of NovoRapid (in 2 doses) to ensure I started the day with a more comfortable level. Got woken AGAIN by the 'lost signal' alert chirping in the G7 app, so had to go through the usual nonsense of toggling BlueTooth off and on, then restarting the app to get everything working again. The current sensor expires this evening, so I hope the next one does not have this problem.

6.8 and climbing this morning. Went to bed on 10.1 so decided on a little correction. Immediately after I did that it started dropping like a stone so looks like I had a delayed post training drop and the correction suddenly became unnecessary. Had a small chocolate bar to prevent any overnight issues and when the night starting nice and level at about 5.6 before the normal dawn take off.

Not much on today - might actually get all my files caught up which would be nice and a rest day in the calendar. Morse code class tonight. Session 10 so my students will now have learned all the letters, numbers, key punctuation and key prosigns (letter combos that run together that have special meanings in morse code. The most 'famous' prosign is SOS. It is not keyed S O S rather SOS with no spacing at all between the letters, just a continuous stream).

Morning all - It was quite bright with blue sky, but it's now just grey again.

5.3 this morning which I am well pleased with. Before dinner last night I was horrified to see 13.4 on the meter and it had been much higher. On investigation into "Insulin history" on my Omnipod PDM it would seem I had not taken any insulin for lunch (home made celery soup and 2 slices of toast). I recall putting the figures into the PDM and it doing the calculations, but I must not have pressed the final button to deliver the insulin. So I went to bed on 12.4 and numerous corrections for my chicken and veg stew. Really annoyed with myself as it has ruined TIR - down to 74% from 89%.

Not up to much today except meeting friends in the local late afternoon as usual on a Wednesday.

Have a good day everyone and take

Wow, morse code. I am curious why are your students learning morse code?

Morning all, 4.7 here. More gardening yesterday. We’ve got a patch down by our front gate which has just become covered in ivy and lilac suckers, because our neighbour had a huge conifer overhanging it. Conifer has been removed! Opening up possibilities, though it still faces North with a high fence casting it into shade for a lot of the day, and a huge Lime tree close by, but it does have possibilities.

Morning folks. 7.1 here.

I’m definitely liking this HCL lark. My afternoon walk is still a work in progress but so far so good. Teaching always drops my BG like a stone, but yesterday morning’s Activity mode kept me nice and steady, and again in last night’s class. It’s not an artificial pancreas by any means, but it does seem to be easing the burden. Onwards and...in-range-wards!

It’s c-c-cold out there! Wrap up warm, folks.
