Group 7-day waking average?

Morning all - drenching rain and a nasty little wind. Not going out unless I can help it today!

6.3 this morning. Better but no cigar!

Got home too late yesterday afternoon to prepare the chicken dish, made do with a ham hock that was lurking in the fridge courtesy of Lidl Eastern Europe week, along with butter bean mash & green veggies. So will make the chicken stew this afternoon.

@eggyg that wedding photo is just lovely - "Love's young dream!" Perfick.

All this talk of 80s hairdos. I was in my 30s and went through the Farrah Fawcett Major do, followed by a curly perm, followed by having it all cut off and gradually growing it back into a "Cleopatra" bob. It was at an "in between" stage when we got married in 85. My friend cobbled it into a sort of bouffant Joan Collins for the wedding day... went nicely with the aircraft hangar size shoulder pads on my wedding dress & the stilettos that made me taller than Julian!

Hi everyone! 7 on Libre, double checked with finger prick as I usually do when I start a fresh sensor and I'm happy with the accuracy.

Today I have to do laundry, followed by a meeting with my creative coffee club. I have some work to do before getting into any creative activities, though. Remember that new immigration status I'm applying for? The first steps seemed easy enough: download an app that "scans" your password, take a couple selfies and then give your National Insurance Number. They use that to check your records and let you know if you need to provide any other documents. Well, the app is not compatible with my phone :( So I borrowed a friend's and used the app, then it gave me the option of completing the application in the same phone or "follow the link we sent to your email" and complete it later. I thought I'd give him back the phone and finish the application in my own time, but this email never arrived (I thought maybe because I used his phone, it arrived to his email instead, but it didn't). So I asked and a friend from coffee club has offered me to use her phone today. I will try to complete the whole application on it, I hope it works.

Barfing up strawberry flavoured French Fancies, though so, not yet hungry as I’m still digesting! :D

Will wander into the kitchen at some stage & see what it smells like actually, what the back of my throat feels like, & switch off the extraction fan; I heard it roaring away like an airplane whenever I went to the loo which always has an open window! 😱

It’s rather a curious thing that just hearing that type of noise I associate with HOW I feel on a long haul flight, like say to Hong Kong, when hearing that noise for hours on end: unsteady underfoot as the plane flies through the air hitting turbulence at times; just hearing that type of noise even though I’m not on a plane I instantly feel unbalanced like I AM on one! A Wobbly emoji! It’s another very strong Pavlovian Association that I’ve had since I was 10 years old when I first flew London to HK! The other association for as long as I can remember is always going to the loo before I leave the house & hearing the sound of running water, like a tap, I want to go! :rofl:

That's not happened in a while

I got my new phone delivered this morning (a few days early) and sensor ends in an hour.
I'm on the fence between starting with old phone, start with new phone (its a used one so no real idea how the battery is) or start with reader.

6.2 today. It was pisitively possing down earlier but has cleared up a treat now.

Played more of the Desolation Song today - got the strumming just right, the chords are quite easy.

I got two pairs of new shoes yesterday, and one pair today, and they all fit!

Wedding hair, mine by then was a shaggy permed bob which i had scraped up at the back and curly on top. I cringe at the dress now, it was very Scarlett O'Hara 😳

All the dresses in the wedding shops were Scarlett O'Hara in that era though @freesia. I ended up in the evening dress departments as I was far too old for Scarlett! Horrible SIL kept saying to my mother than she was sure I was 40. My mum kept saying "she's as old as her tongue and older than her teeth" - I was 39!

Another strange swinging BS day! I’m still tired today but, not as exhausted as yesterday!

That is my strange graph today. The early part was waking in the 4’s & the rest is with just one meal today at 15:30 after I got up, tresiba alarm, at 12:00. My BS keeps going through days at a time like this past year & been like that for a few days now. I ALMOST put in more NR with a biscuit about an hour ago when 19:30 BS 15.0 but, some instinct probably this morning’s low BS made me hold off & about an hour later at 20:25 BS 8.2! So, I’ve decided, wrote it on the libre entry, that I’ll hold off adding extra NR when BS is swinging like that unless it stays consistently flatly high & EVEN then, be conservative with the dose as last night & this morning showed me I can low too! And no, I’m not having a cycle not that I can see but, I do get the occasional odd stomach cramp or two! The menopause is giving me right headache at times when my BS is SO erratic! o_O
 
I don't have a wedding dress or hairstyle to speak about yet, but a friend from my club offered to marry me so I can get a green card 😛 I know that's an American thing but her intentions were good!

That was a joke after my attempt to complete the application in her phone didn't work :( I did the first step of taking a pic of my passport and it said "you already used this app, please complete the other steps of the application" ... Okay but how?? Where is that link I was supposed to receive? I found a page from the government website where you can send questions about the process and I tried that, I am supposed to get an answer within 5 working days.

So more waiting and anxiously checking my email. I've been doing quite a bit of that with the room search and I'm tired. Also, about that, they started the referencing process. I've filled half a questionnaire they sent me, and have to wait for tomorrow when I go to work to find out whose email I should use for the employment reference.

PS: fear not, the immigration situation is frustrating but is not so bad that I actually need a convenience marriage with my friend!!

I can totally understand your frustration. Nothing ever seems to be straightforward with online stuff. I thought computers were supposed to make life easier!

Oh, they do stress me out sometimes! But I'm still grateful I'm not having to travel to some office or send physical documents. There was an option to send my passport by post. No way! 😳
 
Morning all. 5.9 and it appears I’m first on.

Childcare Wednesday, that means only one thing. Double Trouble! To be honest, if you’ve got one you might as well have them all, luckily the others are at school!

@Elenka_HM I get very frustrated at times with online stuff, nothing is ever straight forward, is it? Hope it gets sorted soon, otherwise, when’s the wedding? We’ll all come! 😉
