Group 7-day waking average?

Morning all - like everyone else we have strong winds, but no rain at the moment. Windows are covered in salt from the wind, but we don't seem to have any damage so far.

6.8 first thing. Late afternoon yesterday I took off the sensor that kept losing signal with the pod. It had 5 days left on it but I shall be ringing Abbot. The new sensor seems to be maintaining signal through the night which is good!

We are supposed to be bussing into town this afternoon to meet friends. I hope I can persuade hubby it's not a good idea at all!

Have a good, warm and safe day everyone.

Good morning everyone! Similar to yesterday, 9'8, but with less sleep.

Last night was absolute madness at work. A lot of parties happening everywhere at the same time, I had to move constantly from one room to another and they were all loud with a variety of sounds. As an example, within a few minutes:

Room A: Dancing queeeen, young and sweet only seventeeeeeen...

Room B: *Deafening conversations of lot of people in a small space*

Room C: FORGET ABOUT YOUR BOYFRIEND AND MEET ME IN THE HOTEL ROOM! o_O

I'm laughing about it now but it was a bit overwhelming. I finished at midnight and was back at 6 am this morning. Some customers have mentioned how I surely didn't have much time to sleep, and while I'm sure they mean well and are just trying to make friendly conversation, a little part of me thinks "why do you rub it on my face like this?" 🙄:D

Good morning all 5.5 for me had hypo at 3am of 3.9 But hey ho thats life. Its windy here and raining a bit. Not going out on Indie today to cold. LH has put the lights on both trees and they look great. For the first time in a long while Im looking forward to Xmas and feel full of the spirit of it May you all have a safe and happy day
18 More sleeps till Santa comes

It's a morning of hypos. First off at 5.30am with a 3.4, then at 7am with 3.8.
Stable now and rising pre-prandial.

It's been a tad breezy here, getting worse through the night; it's just as well we don't live near the promenade. Otherwise, just another shirt-clad day in sunny(?) Morecambe Bay.

Good morning everyone. First up.

BG 5.2 excellent. How appropriate as I feel so good this morning. Everything else is good too.

Why do I feel so good this morning? It's as if I have felt ill for the last few weeks and someone has just lifted a veil this morning! I like it.

Still some adjustments to make to the recording of my new song and then try to record the dreaded vocals. Maybe I will tackle them this afternoon. Hopefully I will be able to see my friend this afternoon too. (I've not been out of the house all week due to my painful hip (which is way better this morning too). And I must start practicing Christmas carols.

It is still quite blustery out there this morning. I felt very sorry for our squirrels yesterday. Two did come out to feed but they were blown about a bit.

Off to church at 8am to ensure the sound set up is ok. Then some shopping after the service (I didn't get out yesterday because it was so stormy) and I have run out of milk (so an odd breakfast coming up perhaps).

We may put up our Christmas decorations later today too (I really didn't feel like bothering before)

Have a great day today whatever you are doing

Good morning! Woken by a low alarm (one of the rare occasions it has actually alarmed). Obviously a very rare (for me( compression low. A few minutes later it was shooting for the moon before falling back. Will settle for 7.0 as still hanging in there.

Cloudy and freezing!

Good morning, I’m joining @Gwynn on the HS step

a relief to see that HS today, yesterday evening just before bed my levels dropped to 3.6 it took several JB’s and a few GlucoseChews to Lift my levels back back into range - Im sure that I reduced my evening insulin (but maybe I didn’t)
my GP had recently advised that as the Mounjaro dose went up there will be a need to reduce my insulin slightly further

Have a Great Sunday everyone 😎

Congrats to @Gwynn and @goodybags on the HSs

A 5.9 for me today

Stay safe out there everyone. Several trees down aroud here after yesterday!

Make room for another one on the hs step please!

5.2

Doing a spot of baking today I think. Going to try a very easy fruitcake recipe plus a low carb stollen. I’ve already made the marzipan using almonds and powdered erythritol/xylitol mix and the dried fruit has soaked for two days so it’s all very plump.

Good morning all. 6.4 from a still very windy Rydal. It might still be wet but I can’t tell, but the wind is blowing a hoolie down the chimney pot straight into the living area through the open fire, and through the door. It feels pretty cool in here. Heating on and a throw over my legs. Brrr!

We did go out yesterday, just to have a wee look, boredom and curiosity got the better of us. We only walked to the lake shoreline, about 10 minutes walk. Oh my goodness, I could barely stand up, and I’m no Twiggy, the rain was horizontal and like icicles being thrown at your face. It wasn’t pleasant, we beat a hasty retreat, after Mr Eggy took a photo, we were out maybe 35/40 minutes and we were literally soaked through to our underwear. We showered and had our PJs on by 2.30pm! I can honestly say I’ve never had such a drenching. I was worried our jackets wouldn’t be dry for today but I’ve just checked and they seem ok, on the surface, another couple of hours by the radiator should do it. That’ll teach us! 😉

Not sure what today will bring, we had planned on a walk from Grasmere up to a mountain tarn but the ground will be extremely boggy, it has been all week without any help from Darragh, so we need a rethink. It’s not suppose to rain today so that something. It’s our last full day, we leave for home tomorrow, and it’ll be a shame not to do something.

Congratulations @Gwynn and @goodybags on today’s HSs.

Have a super Sunday, hope everyone survived the storm, and we all have a better day today.

Just one photo today, taken on my phone, I didn’t take my camera, unlike someone who suffers for their art! 🙄

Congratulations Colin on your HS, hope your cake goes well. I’m not a fruit cake lover at all so never attempt to make it.

It’s such a simple recipe that I couldn’t resist

Morning all, 7.9 here, didn’t take my basal last night as I was 4.3 at bedtime and still feeling full, so couldn’t face a snack.
We were lucky yesterday, got son to Heathrow when the wind wasn’t too bad, and his flight to Canada was on time. Wind picked up again in the afternoon once we were back home, though, and several trees fell across roads in and surrounding the village, and several places round have no power, but ours stayed on. (I kept a torch in my pocket all evening just in case).
