I can concur. After my father passed away in 2021, it took two years for his estate to be settled and everything(?) sorted. We had a windfall in a different direction, which put pay to our financial worries, which came out of the blue(!) So don't worry as things have a way of resolving themselves sometimes, even on the blackest of days.4.2 today, didn’t sleep well with whirling mind or going to pinch @eggyg chatty mind phrase, did get some sleep, feel a little calmer today. Doc has prescribed some stronger antidepressant, the link to book onto therapy sessions and signed me off for a month to start with. That will give us time to start making some plans on how to manage financially until hubbies inheritance comes through which sadly is still a bit of a way off, but we will talk to our Bank about getting our mortgage payments lowered and give the solicitor a big push on getting things sorted, even seeing if there is a way we can complain about mistakes made by a County Court and the length of time it has taken to process paper work, which has cost us about 18 months.
Oh, mine doesn´t seem to shut up either! At least I´m lucky it gives me a rest during the night. And I don´t even have a family to feed or similar big responsibilities. I honestly don´t think I could cope with being a mum.I call it my internal monologue. It never shuts up!
Looks lovely and suits your table perfectly! Mine was more like the picture, but silver plated. I also had a little thingie you put on the middle one and you could arrange flowers in it. I thought I was terribly posh, but actually it was a nuisance as it stopped people being able to see guests who were sat opposite. I used to have to take it off the table when people sat down! Here you go Patti. The candles look very dark on here they are actually Wedgewood blue which matches my rug and table runner!
Unless I'm a total disasterooh, let us know if you get on so we can watch it.
Mr Eggy also concerned we won’t be able to see anyone but I would probably move it to the sideboard if we had a full house. It’s just for show really. Mr Eggy was desperate to light the candles yesterday, no chance said I, I’ve just paid 20 quid for them!Looks lovely and suits your table perfectly! Mine was more like the picture, but silver plated.
