Group 7-day waking average?

Good evening! 7'4 this morning. Much more decent than yesterday's 15! Tbh that's the kick in the back I needed to put on a sensor. Having a club sandwich the night before without bolus was not smart. I love that cafe and the food is nice but they use the thickest bread slices, and this one had 3!

My period started unexpectedly yesterday, only 2 weeks after the last one. It's doing my head in this year, first taking a few months off, now seems to overcompensate 🙄

Good moaning! Another bad morning at 10.3! I finished the course of antibiotics yesterday so hoping my stomach will start getting back to normal.

Call from GP practice this morning, anytime from 8:00! I missed the last one a week ago and they never called back. I really dislike it that they cannot even give you a one-hour window.

Morning - take 3 on my free Libre trial. Hoping I get 2 full weeks with out any sharp bits or it falling off my arm.

Full on FOTF happening - straight line in the 5s most of the night and for the last 30m quite a stiff rise and currently sitting at 6.6! Not too surprised. I did bake a cake yesterday and although it was a 'diabetic appropriate' one, it does still require a bit of portion control (which apparently is still a work in progress for me!)

I have to do my adult life support mandatory training this morning so a bit of a drive down to the hospital that is hosting that.

Morning all, 4.7 when I woke up, which seemed a bit unlikely, woke in mid compression dip, it seems. Went to the loo, retested, 8.2! Also unlikely, sensor overpredicting now it’s on the way up. Truth probably lies somewhere in between.
 
Morning all. 6.1. Happy with that and my numbers yesterday whilst hiking. I find it a struggle to not hypo when on long strenuous walks and it was quite warm which makes it worse, but I managed it! Reduced morning basal by a half unit, reduced breakfast basal the same. Bolused normal for my picnic lunch, but never took any for my two snacks, the last snack I didn’t want but I was 4.9 arrow down and still a few miles to go. Just need to be aware it could hit today!

Nearly 10 miles, 30k steps, 57 floors, six hours! Ooh, I was aching, my hips were almost seizing up at one point. Tough walk in parts, but it was beautiful, Ullswater in view for most of the time apart from towards the end when the trail took us into a pine forest and over farmland. That’s it we’ve now completed The Ullswater Way and no injuries this time! Feel a bit stiff today but I’m sure after I’ve been moving about I’ll be fine. Stretches done as soon as back to the car, then straight into a hot shower when I got home, and two paracetamol and two ibuprofen did the trick. Oh and bed at 9.30!

Morning a 6.3 after a night in 4s and eventually taking 2 Dextrose at 3am just to stop my alarm going off.
Now on Train as have day meeting at Manchester Airport but just a hotel not flying off anywhere.
Will only take 20 minutes so easy enough and see what the day brings.

7.9 my dexcom receiver seemed to go walk abouts yesterday I contacted the hospital but their not going to be very impresed

Morning all - 6.2 for me this morning so very very pleased with that. I consciously didn't have carbs with my evening meal. Actually my evening meal was a big bowl of homemade broccoli & pea soup (so a bit of carbs in that I suppose) and then 3 delicious salt & pepper chicken thighs - hubster is away so keeping things simple for the next few nights. Also did some gardening early evening as had 40 of my 120 narcissus bulbs left to plant (bit late but hopefully fine). @eggyg you do some serious walking - I wish there was a clapping/applause emoji on here. @goodybags loving your new profile pic - shows great results! I'm taking my Mum off down to Kendal this morning to take some boxer shorts back to M&S. My daughter bought them for my husband when he was down visiting her last week but they're not right apparently - is it really worth the effort I hear you ask, well that's what I thought until I looked at the price - £38 for 5 very standard pairs of boxer shorts. I've only got a photo of the receipt so hope they'll let me exchange them. I had notification yesterday that my prescription for the Libre sensor has gone through so there are two coming my way which is so exciting having been self funding them for months. No sign of the insulin yet but I think that will be soon as was all on the same letter. Have a great day everyone x
 
6.2 this morning, for which I blame my wife for making some of her delicious chocolate brownies. Had one with a dollop of Greek yogurt after dinner. If she makes brownies it's the only time I ever do dessert at home, but shan't bother this evening and see whether it makes a difference tomorrow morning.

Dull day so far and nothing on the cards except some grocery shopping and my usual swim. Wedding Anniversary coming up on Friday (28 years) and we've booked a weekend away in Lyme Regis, so looking forward to that. Need to check I have everything that I need to pack all ready in good time so there's no last-minute washing & ironing to do.

I do envy you @eggyg - we have some nice woodland walks locally, and riverside along the Thames if we drive over that way and park, but nothing remotely like your photos.

Good morning all! 5.5 this morning for me.

Still got the tail end of this virus, but hopefully it’s on the way out now!

Next issue is our bathroom fitter is not responding to us - we had him down to do the downstairs cloakroom and replace flooring in the kitchen. Bad thing is, as we trusted him and impressed with the work he did in our main bathroom, we paid a deposit for this job. Now starting to wonder about starting a small claim against him to get our deposit back, but doubtful it will be worthwhile so may just have to write off the deposit. It leaves a bad feeling. Oh well.
