Group 7-day waking average?

We are hoping to go to Jersey which won't involve insurance, He just wants to make sure the tablet which he needs to take every day will not make him feel ill, He had no side effects with the immunotherapy which the doctor said yesterday he should be ok with this treatment so we will have time to see how it pans out.

@Pam123 hubby and I went on our first holiday together to Jersey because we thought it it was covered by the NHS. unfortunately it’s not. There is a reciprocal agreement, but only for emergency treatment. I suggest you check it out before booking to go to Jersey under your current situation. We are still wrestling with our travel insurance company for out of pocket expenses of almost £4000 in addition to French hospital expenses of some £1000 per day for my recent hospitalisation in France. They will pay, but they like to nitpick.

thanks just been speaking to hubby and were thinking maybe Devon would be a better option, we usually go self catering but as he does most of the cooking as I cannot stand for long I would like to give him a break. I hope your not kept waiting for your insurance payout to long.

Good Evening was HS on waking this morning (looks like I never actually pressed the blue button so my post never actually went live)

Congrats on your HS’s yesterday @Sharron1 & @NickE

@Pam123 I hadn’t fully appreciated until I read your post the situation with your husbands health :care: I’m not surprised you posted you were shattered yesterday with all that going on.

thinking it’s going to be day at work today for me, I hope it’s productive, currently I’m not sure I will get the half day off I had hoped for, see how the day does.

Edited Wednesday Evening … my day actually went well although it really felt like it was a L O N G day, congrats to @Pam123 & @MarkStAlbans on your HS’s today

TC everybody

Very late on parade so apologies.

7.8 this morning at 6.37am but didn't get out of my pit until after 10!

Been trying to get a hard copy of my OHs travel insurance.... had to go the long way round as the email client wouldn't let me print anything; dratted thing. Done now. Also got a copy of her dementia diagnosis. All took about an hour of faffing about. Then I went for a 20 minute walk to calm regain my sanity.

BG's largely behaving themselves today -TBH didn't check until three hours after brekkas and they were 8.1 - not complaining. Mealtimes have been sketchy today. Finally, at the evening meal of a keto ham sandwich - not had one of those for about 3 weeks! This keto bread doesn't appear to go off for weeks, must be all the gluten.

Congratulations' to @Pam123, @MarkStAlbans & @goodybags on your todays HS’s.

Have a good rest of the evening and have a pleasant sleep tonight everyone.

05:51 BS 7.1🙂 Much better! See? I CAN be wake in target range, what’s tiny point one?

A Very Good Morning to you all & have a Wonderful Day! 😉

I STILL only ate twice yesterday & no last minute before bed snack. Instead, I ate breakfast & dinner with no lunch in between which, worked out better as, a hangover from my restaurant days, I don’t like to go to bed on an empty stomach! 🙄 It was a big gap between the two but, the BS held up ok & I kept checking: it was one of those wobbly days, come to think of it the other previous days were getting a bit wobbly too! I began to feel a bit of abdominal discomfort late in the day yesterday & feeling it more this morning. So, putting those two together I maybe due a cycle? I’m on the lookout for it & see: it’ll be good to find a pattern so, I not surprised by one; save impromtu bedding changes too! o_O

I don’t know why but, at the moment these last few days I only want to eat two main meals?

Morning a 6.7 and came down after going high in night as had crackers just before bed to combat a low so spoilt my nice TIR.
Another nice day yesterday and went home for lunch at the free cafe my wife runs as she calls it but lovely meet up at the Garden Centre for myself for a catch up with a colleague.
My wife is off to a Chorley Flower Show tomorrow so she is happy too and will drop her off in town
Son and DiL coming over this morning to do a little job for us and although I will not be there will be good for them to come over.
My son who works at TKMax is considering a new career as a Tatooist and has been working with his neighbour who runs a studio.
He is very creative and went to Art School and in his youth win a Couple of Golden Demons for his Warhammer Painting so I do think he will be good at it.
How times have changed in terms of how Tatoos are looked upon in Society now compared to yeas ago.
Anyway have a good day

Morning all. A higher 8.8 for me. Todays plan is to meet a friend for a quick coffee, call in to mums then home to iron and pack.

1753338721977.png Yesterday's racket makers were back in force again this morning - this time kicking off at 6:30AM. 😡
Still my reading was a nice round 5. 🙂
Hope everyone has a quieter day than mine.

Dez

Morning all. A nice round 6 at 6.30.

I'm glad we're child free for a while now, three solid days of kids has just about killed me! Cut and colour at 11am, thank goodness, this warm weather has made my hair grow much quicker than usual and 72 hours of wall to wall grandchildren has made it go greyer! It couldn't have come at a better time as it's our 45th wedding anniversary tomorrow and we are getting "married" again. Well, not quite, some of you may remember I "won" a competition I didn't know I'd entered earlier this year, we were offered a free Celtic hand fasting, basically its a commitment ceremony, followed by afternoon tea at the hotel we had our wedding reception at in Gretna Green. They have also given us a very generous discount on an overnight stay. Another mini break for next to nowt! New frock and everything, I didn't bother, I'll just wear something I've already got!😛

Have great day.

Morning, 6.5 here, I hardly slept because worrying about this cheque had got me all disturbed again :(
Getting hair cut at 11 after which I anticipate a nice afternoon nap.
Have a good day everyone 🙂

Huh? Something odd just happened after breakfast when I remembered to scan the NovoPen*6! It came up as an error so, I had to manually put in the dose & already it felt strange to do that as I’ve gotten used to scanning the pen now. I then, put on another needle to do 1 unit to test the pen & it worked so, why was my earlier air shot & breakfast NR dose not recorded? :confused:o_O

Has this happened to any NovoPen*6 users before? Could temperature be a factor as I’ve noticed it can affect libre scans in the cold Winter pre dawn mornings? It is a bit cooler in the kitchen this morning but, not THAT cold as the butter in the dish was still soft for my toast earlier: it’s been chilly the last few mornings with the rain; the butter hasn’t hardened, though as it does in Winter when I cut what I’ll use, put it in a ramekin & ding it at 40% microwave power for 10 seconds so, I can spread it!

Morning all
A nice but nippy start to day. I feel bloody good today so it's going to be a good day. Had some good news yesterday my MHN is leaving I dislike her so am happy at that news, she told me I may get a worker instead as I'm so settled here at LH, so good news all round.
Whoops nearly forgot Bg 6.6 wee tad higher than I like but about my bg I'm a bit of a control freak as you know, think it goes back to when my bg was in the high teens early 20s for a long while and I was told by my then nurses not to worry about it.
Hope you all have a good safe happy day
Love to you all especially anyones who on their own or struggling.
Take care
Gail xxxxx
