Group 7-day waking average?

Good morning all. Clickety click, 6.6.

First on, and first up at home, TBF that’s always the case! Hoping the girls will have a lie in, not for long though as it’s Zara and Eden’s turn for childcare today. They’ll arrive 8.30.The farmers’ daughters will get picked up about 10.30/11 and the little ones are here until 5.30! Is it bedtime yet?

We didn’t get any rain again yesterday although it was a cooler day than of late. No sunshine at all, it’s looking much the same this morning too. Haven’t a clue what we’ll do today, except try to survive!

Have a wonderful Wednesday.

Good moaning! A shocking 15.0 and rising. The nurse who brought the second lot of tablets commented it was rather high. My reply was "What do you expect if I am not allowed to take the dose of basal insulin I need!"

Many of you will have seen I am going home after over five months in two hospital. The second one, Rehab, was a lot better bar restricting my morning Neutral and evening Isophane (What's all that about). Physio was also inadequate but it is what it was!

Looks like a cloudy day with showers forecast .

Morning all, 5.9 for me although it will probably rise later as I am going back to Santander to try and find out why my mum's cheque has STILL not arrived, almost a month after they said it would be sent out.
As soon as this is finally resolved I will be putting a complaint in and involving the banking ombudsman. It's completely unacceptable.

Morning all. 5.9. No weekly shop to do today as we're off on holiday on Friday and using all the fridge bits up before we go. My friend is coming round for our weekly craft and cuppa day and i have to see the GP late afternoon re my BP. I think its ok now so i'm hoping he doesn't want to increase the meds. Have a good day everyone.

Morning all, 10.2 here, guess who forgot their bedtime basal! Haven’t done that for ages.
No rain here, yesterday, I reckon we’ve got a force field over our house. I went to the yard 10 miles up the road to ride the pony yesterday morning. Half way round our hacking route I noticed an ominous black cloud, so pushed on for home, got him sponged off and turned out into the field in double quick time, and just made it to the car before the heavens opened. Drove back all the way in torrential rain, until a couple of miles from home, when I turned off the main road, and it got drier and drier. Got home, not a drop had fallen in our village.

Morning

5.3 today, not feeling great as had an awful tummy upset on Sunday night, now just feeling weak, probably due to only drinking water and eating a few cream crackers yesterday, but hey other people are suffering much worse things. Taking mum to the docs today, hubby can drop me off round mum’s depending on how I feel and how the weather is I might get a taxi home.

@ColinUK - sorry to hear you had another turn yesterday.

@MikeyBikey - that is awful that they are not listening to you regarding your insulin.

@Sharron1 - congratulations on your HS today. Congratulations to all of yesterday’s HS.
Tbh, after my fabulous birthday feast (which was absolutely loads ALL day) I am now back to the hard work of the normal low carb diet and glad my body is responding.

Morning all. 🙂 6.8 here.

Good luck for today @MikeyBikey - I hope it all goes smoothly.

Not much planned today - a trip to the vet’s to sort out the dogs’ travel documents, then I think I’ll do some holiday packing.

Looks like you’ll have to do a rain dance @Robin.

Morning all
5.3 for me so near yet so far away.
Hope you are all well and happy
It's raining here means I can't go out on Indie.
You all have a good Wednesday
Take care everyone, love to all special wishes to anyone on their own
Gail

Well done @MarkStAlbans for your HS. A 4.9 and a crashing headache for me this morning. Some blighters started making a racket at 1 minute past 7AM. 😡 Sounded like they were chain sawing trees in the Park behind us. I managed to doze through it for 45mins or so. And wouldn't you know it, all went quiet as soon as my feet hit the floor. o_O

Have a good quiet day everyone. 🙂

Dez

Morning

4.4 today, going shopping with my daughter and granddaughters later, then out for a friend’s 50th later, although most of my daughter’s shopping is for school uniform, I know she and the older one finished on Friday, but the little one only finished yesterday.

@Pam123 - pleased to hear your husband’s appointment was positive, also nice to hear you have now got your inheritance, and enjoyed spending some of it.

Congratulations @MarkStAlbans on today’s HS.

Good morning folks. Joining @eggyg with a 6.6 today. The sun is shining again but we are forecast showers later. The grass is greener with all the recent rain and the garden is looking lusher.
Spent yesterday afternoon at craft club knitting more poppies and sewing black buttons in the centres. Apparently the parish council need about another 1000 so we will be busy.

Sorry to hear that you have had another couple of rubbish days in rehab @MikeyBikey and hope that you once you are back home getting real food and regular insulin, you start feeling better.
I hope the new tablets help your husband @Pam123 and you are able to book a nice holiday soon.
Congratulations on your HS @MarkStAlbans

Nothing much planned today. Might do our monthly stock up today or tomorrow. Aldi in Boston is closed 6 weeks for a refurb, but there is a Lidl near Tescos so we should be able to get what we need. Have a good Wednesday everybody. Sending virtual hugs to those of you not feeling so good.

Mum and I have also been busy knitting poppies, ours are for a project on Southend Pier. I find it quite a relaxing thing to do, only the ones for the pier have to have knitted centres as well, in case they end up in the sea.

Morning all and 7.4 for me.
Slightly increased basal and overnight looking better.

What a cliffhanger of a game. At least they play like they want to win unlike the men who seem to have an aversion to trying to get the ball in the net.

Sad but not totally unexpected to hear about Ozzy last night.

Have a good day everyone.

06:00 BS 9.8 A bit better than yesterday BUT, another last minute change of mind to eat a snack before bed bolusing mistake: had 2 full meals the last 2 days & WAS going to bed without dinner but, last minute change of mind before turning in; the day before yesterday was a can of soup which I forgot to bolus for entirely & last night the new delivered, earlier in the afternoon, ASDA raspberry pavlova ice cream was calling out to me a la Hollywood from Mannequin to eat some & I didn’t give it QUITE enough NR! Ah well! A Whistling Nonchalantly emoji! >>😉😉 o_O It was on rollback & I bought a tub of it! I gave it a guessed 14NR for about 2 spoonfuls 220ml ish of it & needed just +2 more? 😛 I have a better idea on further bolusing for this now! 🙄

A Very Good Morning to you all & have a Wonderful Day! 😉

I just had a MASSIVE sneezing attack in the middle of me catching up on this thread before posting just now & you MIGHT have heard my seismically loud “AH CHOOOOO”’s earlier & I had to pause, take off my reading glasses & give my streaming eyes a wipe before reading to the bottom & posting so, OF COURSE, forgot the libre entry, AGAIN as SO OFTEN happens with the deterioration of short-term memory due to age, had to look it up again! 😱 A Sneezing My Head Off emoji & 🙄o_O
