Group 7-day waking average?

Ohh! Reading back my libre logs after testing the pen with an air shot 1 unit, I see that it says it couldn’t read the doses from yesterday after 15:34 when I ate breakfast to 08:03 today when I was scanning after breakfast. So, I had to manually put in last night’s meal dose as well! I must have forgotten to scan the pen last night then, as I ate & went straight to bed & would have noticed the error if I had scanned? I ate a REALLY late breakfast yesterday & then, dinner at about 22:30 ish!
I wobbled quite a bit in between the two meals but, not too high as it can sometimes be at round 8 to 10mmol so, an average between the wobbles of 9mmol.

@eggyg in honour of your impending re-nuptialisation the DF has granted me a 5.2! Now I can have cake to celebrate!

Morning 6.6 today
im off out to work in a minute

Congrats on that HS @ColinUK :star: hope you enjoy the Cake

TC everybody

Morning

5.1 today, off to see mum later, maybe a bit of crotchet, then yoga this evening, although it will only be for an hour as she has stopped the second class due to lack of support.

@ColinUK - congratulations on your HS.

Congratulations to @goodybags and @Pam123 on yesterday’s HS.

@eggyg - congratulations on your anniversary and enjoy your ceremony.

Huh? Something odd just happened after breakfast when I remembered to scan the NovoPen*6! It came up as an error so, I had to manually put in the dose & already it felt strange to do that as I’ve gotten used to scanning the pen now. I then, put on another needle to do 1 unit to test the pen & it worked so, why was my earlier air shot & breakfast NR dose not recorded? :confused:o_O

Has this happened to any NovoPen*6 users before
Yes, my Echo (which is the same sort of thing) showed an error like that a couple of months ago, then it’s been working fine ever since. i couldn’t think I’d done anything different, so I just put it down to 'one of those little annoyances' with modern technology.

5.8 on an occasionally bright & sunny Berkshire morning. Wife and eldest have left for their offices, so just me and out youngest at home today and there's likely to be no sign of him until later.

Bit of drama at the end of our road late last night as 3 fire engines attended a house fire. We could see the smoke from upstairs. It wasn't a house in our road, it was one the other side of what's known as the Spine Rd (so-called because all bar one street off it is a cul-de-sac) that runs through the centre of our estate, but still close enough to smell the smoke. I expect we'll get something about it on the local news or Facebook later.

Thursday, so usual swim before lunch, and a stop at Waitrose to pick up some bits & pieces while I'm in town. Leisure Centre is a bit busier now that some of our schools have broken up but fortunately that doesn't usually impact the lane swimming sessions.

@ColinUK - congratulations on today's HS and @goodybags and @Pam123 on yours yesterday.

Enjoy the day..

Robin, talking of ‘Modern technology little annoyances’ I changed my G7 sensor yesterday morning. It seemed to work fine after swapping arms. In the evening just before the WF game - Viva Espana! - I noticed my blood sugar was quite low at below 5. I therefore had two weetabix, a bit much I know. Watched the match, went off to bed. At 3am my alarm for low sugar level went off. I’m sort of programmed to take glucose automatically without thinking and did so. At 4am another alarm with a flashing sign saying “signal failure” and “replace sensor”. I was fully awake by then so got up and did a finger prick test. 14.2! Ooops. Then I took off the failed sensor and replaced it with a new one. Waited for it to pair. It did in 20 mins, blood sugar still 14. Took a bolus corrective dose of 4 units and went back slowly to sleep.

Blood sugar back to 9 this morning. Took a little more insulin than usual before a late breakfast.

The wonders of technology. I will now attempt to report failure online to Dexcom and await replacement. Might be nice if they could send me a new pancreas too.

Good morning folks. 8.4 this morning 😱 guess who forgot to take her tablets yesterday evening o_O We ate a bit later than usual and I felt so tired I had an early night. Good day in the garden yesterday though. Harvested all our French beans. Purple and yellow ones this year. It's a shame the purple ones go green when they are cooked.

Congratulations on your HS yesterday @goodybags and yours today @ColinUK
Happy Anniversary for tomorrow @eggyg . Your handfasting ceremony sounds lovely. Enjoy your short break.

Shopping today as it's raining and dull outside and we only have 2 days worth of cat food left.
Have a happy Thursday

I have had an on and off dodgy stomach since last Friday, not good Fri and Sat, took Imodium, OK Sun, Mon, bad Mon night, took imodium , OK Tues, bad Tues night, took imodium, OK Wed but bad again this morning so I've taken another imodium. Haven't a clue what could have caused it, other half has had exactly the same food as me except for lunch last Thursday which I had out at a pub, just a cheese soufflé and salad.

Morning all. A very grey start with a little light drizzle, but a happy 5.3 for me after a bad night's sleep.

Have a great day, everyone, and stay well.

Still in double figures, can't get a handle on my eating but thereagain I never could. :( I need help! Fully intended to 'be good' today but got up and after a night of insomnia which I can't deal with I ate a family sized trifle. Like you do. I'll be good from now then.... Lunchtime Thursday... the little darlings break up tomorrow so there's something to look forward to.

Congrats on the HS @ColinUK and for yesterdays HSers @goodybags and @Pam123.

Happy Anniversary for tomorrow @eggyg. I hope the ceremony goes well and you have a lovely time. Looking forward to the photos.

Afternoon everyone, a bit late today
8.9 this morning
Congratulations @ColinUK on your HS, happy anniversary tomorrow @eggyg , have a wonderful time
Busy morning at hospital volunteering, had a young lad with me learning on the tasks , for a young person he was very good and full of confidence.
Have a great day ahead everyone

6.9 for me on this wonderfully warm day, thank the gods for the cooling breeze.

Had a mix-up earlier as my wife informed me of a lunch we should attend in Bare for Headway, but I had already had a previous pool appointment with my friend in town - the pool won. We've got a dinner appointment set up with our Pastor and his wife later on today as well. Busy busy busy.

I am shattered so I'll be having a kip soon.

Congratulations on todays' HS @ColinUK

Congratulations on your anniversary tomorrow @eggyg - and I hope you really enjoy your Handfasting ceremony.

Sounds like it could have been the pub salad with the timing. It's very easy to cross contaminate food and there wouldn't have been any heat to kill off bacteria. If it still hasn't cleared up I would get to the doctors for bacteria infections test. Sending hugs xx
