Group 7-day waking average?

Good evening was bit of a high one today on waking today and BS was 8.9
probably not the best food choice yesterday evening, especially as I hadn’t eaten properly during the day, busy busy day at work yesterday (by the way I’m really enjoying my new job)
My food choices of yesterday, I know I could’ve tolerated when still taking that little bit of insulin but obviously not now, I’ve either got to speak to GP / DC and ask them maybe for different medication to replace insulin or just be really really strict on my food choices

anyway on getting up today had a massive DP
so decided to take 4 units of NovaMix (before breakfast today)
I haven’t recently had a conversation with any HCP’s since back the end of May when I stopped taking Insulin

Yesterday (Friday think I forgot to post) but I’m OK
just been really busy, having just finished the first month in my new job,
Just waiting for my precious employer / the company that managed it, to sort out the share save options (I decided to cash them in)

I had a unbelievably great morning at the walking football/ MH & wellbeing program to day, I nearly didn’t go as was quite drained, its been a busy week but the rewards will be worth the effort
getting back to this mornings program… ok so it only lasts 2 hours but I get so much out of it, was quire surprised when the coach co-ordinater opened up to me regarding how he handles stress & poor MH (if he let it affect him)

hopefully I shall get time to watch the BGP tomorrow but if not on the TV we usually get some great coverage via Local Radio as I’m only just down the road from Silverstone

hope your all having a wonderful weekend
TC 😉

You have worked hard on it, it looks fabulous so well worth the effort. Now comes all the watering. I love the little mushrooms, I assume they are lights.

Looks beautiful.

Morning looks lovely Pam and I am appreciating much more how important a nice garden is as much as the plants will appreciate the morning rain.
A 4.9 for me and a very flat night after a chippy tea but we had it early and I was a bit more aggressive on the insulin to keep it down.
Very nice day yesterday and Tree Ferns we’re on offer at a local garden centre buy 2 get 1 free and although we have enough we did a deal.
Brother in law bought the 2 and we had the 3rd but did pay him to average out the cost at £90 each for a 3 foot one which is a very good price.
Then we had a coffee to decide could we get them the cars or have to pay for delivery.
Well we managed so out for lunch but decided not to wait 30 minutes as staff shortages so we came home.
Will go out today but had left over Pizza today and then the Chippy tea.
Anyway dogs walked but do not like the rain and If it does stop will be back in the garden.

Morning all, 4.7 here. Plenty of rain forecast here today. Unfortunately'here' is on holiday in the Alps, and still no rain forecast for home. Son is staying in our house while we’re away, and has a three line whip to water the veg and the pots, but he’s not happy about it!

Good morning! It's 8.3 for me after a muddled evening/night where I had both insulins four hours late and a hypo (?) at 3:45. Yo explain I was woken up to see what my BG was on Libre and it said 3.2⁰. I was symptomless and suspect it was actually in the 4s but no manual (finger prick) test.

Have a good day...

6.3 this morning.

Pride was over all a fun day. The parade was disrupted by four youth who glued themselves to the front of the lead float after throwing red paint at it. They were pro Palestine protesters whose supporters in the crowd actually said to me that if Hamas were allowed to rule in peace then they’d become a fully western style democracy with enshrined lgbtq+ and women’s rights written in to law. They’re delusional.

The police used solvent to unstick them from the lorry and carted the four of them off in police vans. There was a momentary murmur of “From the river to the sea” and I was told that if I was a Zionist then I wasn’t “a real Jew”. I was also told by someone who was a similar age to me that the world wouldn’t be at peace until all the Jews were dead.

They were adorned with a variety of pro-Pal badges and were wrapped up in the Pride Progress flag. I lost my rag a bit. Swearing did occur. A police officer said that he wasn’t worth arguing with because he was an idiot and he’d win as he’s more experience being one than I had.

Anyway… meandered to the Jewish Pride part (organised totally independently, in Soho, surrounded by police in uniform and with plain clothed and armed officers also in attendance) stayed a while there. Then perambulated through Soho and visited some of the stages. Heard some fabulous singing at one of them, only deciding to move on when Killing Me Softly was being murdered by someone who took the title as an instruction.

Back to the Jewish area which was packed now. Ate falafel and humus, danced, flirted, enjoyed myself!

Lots of people stopped me and took pics of my T-shirt.

“Feygele” is a very traditional insult. Technically it means “little bird” and it’s specifically a tiny little, very delicate songbird but it was a derogatory term for gay men way before the term “gay” was used.

Morning

4.2 today, out for a walk the coffee with a friend it it stays dry long enough.

@ColinUK - wow can really see the weight loss. Makes me cross that Pride was disrupted by protesters and blatant antisemitism, I am pleased you had a good time overall.

@Barrowman - congratulations on yesterday’s HS.

@Pam123 - your garden is beautiful.

Morning all. 🙂 13.3 here.

Diabetes is bonkers! Lows all day yesterday and highs all night long. So, no walk for me this morning until I get back in range. I'm a tad ticked off, grrrr.

Anyhoo...sounds like an eventful day @ColinUK. Glad to hear you enjoyed yourself.

A 5.3 for me today. 🙂

Dez

6.0 for me this morning, after a nice flat day yesterday and overnight. A lazy Sunday morning is on the cards today as weather outside is still a little too damp to go for a walk.

I’m joining Dez @MeeTooTeeTo this morning with a 5.3.

Got to the marina yesterday afternoon, put everything away on the boat and then had a lovely meal at the Marina restaurant- a version of duck a L’orange which was really good and a very welcome change from the usual burgers etc. I have had whilst eating out in the usual pubs. Rain is forecast until 10am, so we’re staying in the marina until then, thankfully with the long days we will still be able to manage the 7 hours to get up to Etruria from here, which we need to do in order to be on time for a morning passage through the Harecastle Tunnel tomorrow.

@ColinUK - sounds like you enjoyed Pride yesterday, glad it was a good day for you.

@Pam123 - we seriously need you to do our garden  Really enjoyed seeing your pictures!

Have a great Sunday everyone!
