Group 7-day waking average?

Good morning folks 7.8 for me today. Had a forage in the fruit cage for some breakfast. Strawberries are finished now. Blueberries aplenty and lots of raspberries to pick. I need to pick and freeze the remaining tayberries as the wasps have discovered them.

Our nearest coast is Skegness, about 30 miles away. Heading there tonight for the theatre trip.

Completely messed up my balance with an extreme low at 12.30pm. Took a sachet of glucose, but not enough. Repetitive alarms. More G. Then notification that sensor temporarily not working - wait for 3 hours! So a high 9 this morning and a mental slapped wrist.

Fabulous sunflower! I have one sunflower that survived the deer munching but it's only a foot tall and no sign of a flower yet. Very envious of your success @NickE
 
Good morning, 6.0 for me earlier.
Busy sorting my timetable and planning inductions for next year. There's suddenly only a week left to do it all!

Family and I are off to church camp later. Although we will be returning home each evening to sleep in comfortable beds. I would say this is because I am pregnant, but it's not - I did it last year too, and just like to cheat :rofl:

I think its DP causing the spikes at that time but i'm not sure what to do as the basal seems to be keeping me steady in the day.

Today i need to go and see mum as she's still in hospital then i'm coming home to read my book, possibly have a nap, i'm really tired today. Washing machine is on as its going to be a nice day again, 24°.

Congrats on the HS and result @Wendal. I, too, wish i lived by the sea. I just find it calming walking along a beach or sitting listening to the waves.

@silver minion i've never tried tayberry. What sort of flavour does it have?

First time this year we have had a reasonable crop from the tayberries, they are a cross between a raspberry and a blackberry, the appearance of a blackberry but more flavour of a raspberry. They seem to go over ripe quite quickly if not picked pronto.

I grew up on the Welsh coast, with the beach only a 10-minute walk from our house, but I've spent the last 50 years in Bedfordshire and Berkshire - both pretty much as far from the coast as you can get in England. When my wife joins me in retirement she wants us to up sticks and move somewhere near to the sea.
 
10.1 expected this morning - they were flatlining all night/morning at 9.5/10; Last night they were 7.2 at 10pm. A pretty quiet night and I fell asleep the moment my head hit the pillow until 9.30 this morning.

Cloudy today with intermittent rain showers and a strong breeze as I walked down the road and into its' teeth.

Having less liquid today as I've binge consuming water for several months, yesterdays hospital visit put pay to that! Whether low sodium or hypos, they needed to be addressed forthwith.

it was 5 for me this morning cooler here today make a nice change, went out to buy just one plant to go behind a new water feature we just bought, I wanted to hide the wires and needed something to cover them, anyway we didn't find what we wanted but came home with some other plants, including 2 small conifers to go in pots, hubby actually like them and suggest buying them, that's a first, I wonder what tomorrow will bring apart from avoiding garden centres

Also thanks to @eggyg , @freesia and @Grannylorraine for your kind words and empathy. Today’s visit to my parents at the care home actually was good. Told them we were arranging a small family get together at the home for the Saturday we are back to celebrate their 70th (Platinum) wedding anniversary. Already got the card from the King and framed it for them to give as a surprise. They were both ok about a low key “do” which was really good.

Their house is now on the market, the estate agents are handling viewings so fingers crossed we get some offers over the next couple of weeks. It would be great if it sells whilst we’re away. Of course, that means we will have loads to do when we get back, but that was always going to be the case anyway.
 
Morning all. A very low 4.5 on the Libre, 4.1 on the fingerpricker! Got straight on to breakfast.

Another miserable wet morning. Yesterday started dry but very windy, Mr Eggy took the opportunity to get the grass cut. He also had a couple of hours up the ladder repairing our bedroom window sill. We own a 300 year old listed property with five very old wooden sash windows on the front of the house. We can’t replace with PVC and we can’t afford new ones as of course they’ve to be an exact replica which won’t be cheap as they are non standard and will needed to be made by hand. The glass is fine, the Georgian frames need a bit of TLC, a bit of new putty and some gloss. But the sills are rotten so Mr E is making them himself and fitting them. He’s doing a good job, it’s only the constant rain that’s slowing him down. Rained from 2pm yesterday and still raining now and set to continue all day. I’ve had to put the kitchen light on it’s so dark. 14 degrees!

No plans today, could really do with a long walk but it’s no fun when it’s raining. Another day of reading it is then.

Have a super, hopefully sunny, Saturday.

5.4 when I woke up at my normal very early hour, but I firmly explained to the dog that we were NOT going for a three mile hike this morning, because mummy needed a lie in, so we both went back to sleep until just now.
 
5.8 on this overcast morn.

Morning all. 🙂 5.5 here.

Windy and wet this morning. Bizarre, yesterday was hot and sticky. I don’t know how the weather forecasters keep up! Time for a walk, then some cleaning and tidying up. And maybe a trip to Sainsburys later - I know how to have a good time!
