Group 7-day waking average?

Morning folks. 8.8 😱 oh dear. Then I checked my tablets. Forgot to take yesterday evening's dose so that will explain that one.

Saw a great presentation at WI last night. A talk about a lady called Dorothie Fielding, who drove ambulances in WW1 near the front lines in France and Belgium. She wrote several letters home and we listened to extracts where she assured her parents she was safe and far away from the action.(not true). Very poignant as although she survived the war, 3 of her brothers were killed.

Supposed to hit 20 °C this afternoon. Lovely. I will be in the garden after Tai Chi and lunch.
Early evening meal as picking up friends at 6pm in the next village to see Menopause 2 at Skegness. Looking forward to it.
Note to self REMEMBER TO TAKE TABLETS

I can be such a numpty sometimes o_O🙄
Have a lovely Friday everyone and enjoy the sunshine.

Morning all. A Happy 4.9 for me on what promises to be a very warm sunny day'

Have a great day folks and don't get too sunburnt.... 🙂

Morning all and 7.3 for me.

Fish and chips for tea last night. £6.50 must be some of the cheapest around and they're good.

Good appt with haematologist yesterday. In and out before the actual appointment time. No treatment needed as haemocrit levels higher than normal but stable.

Have a good day everyone.

A very disappointing 13.4 for me this morning after getting back home late from the theatre and then feeding horses on way home but hadn't had time to feed myself before I went to theatre and I had only had a fun sized apple and cheese for lunch. I toyed with just having a creamy decaf and going to bed which would definitely have been the better option, but I ended up eating a chicken drumstick and then I opened the 1kg creamy Greek style natural yoghurt pot in my fridge and just kept having another spoonful and another and another until it was more than half gone!! 😱 Of course I jabbed insulin for it as I ate and I was 7.8 and horizontal arrow when I climbed into bed at 12.35am with active insulin in my system, but then all the protein must have released whilst I slept.
Anyway, I jabbed my Levemir and 12 units of Fiasp to cover correction and bolus and FOTF and went back to sleep for half an hour and woke up again on 9.1 with a vertical downward arrow and much happier with that as just enough time to get a coffee and breakfast and eat it and I have levelled out on a very nice 4.6 so I will take that as a victory to make up for last night's very obvious failure! 🙄

Morning all. Another gloriously sunny day!

6.4 for me, and the weekend beckons…

Have a great Friday everyone.

Good morning everyone! 5'2, yay.

I think I've been absent for like a week. Morning numbers have been in the 5s and 6s, which I'm happy with. Average glucose went a bit lower, TIR is good and I'm finding I need less basal, especially if I go for long walks. Weather has been incredibly sunny lately, but my mood has been off for a few days. Lots of nostalgic thoughts for some reason. Feeling better in myself today, tho 🙂

Food shop awaits. Today was the most convenient time for it this week, and it also feels natural as I've finished the tomatoes and fresh bread. Plus I have absolutely no cheese left, not even a basic cream cheese, and that is unacceptable in my house! 😛

So, I'm off to Lidl. Should be a nice walk. Have a lovely day!

6.7 this morning, but had a low at 3am. Woken by my Apple Watch which was being very insistent. Had to turn the alarm off for a bit. Took some glucose. I’m trying a bowl of porridge for breakfast instead of a slice of toast and a smear of low-sugar apricot jam. Plus coffee of course. What do others have for breakfast?

Beautiful morning in South London but the garden with lots of pots needs the rain expected tomorrow. ☀️

Nick
I have Marmite (lower salt) on 2 rounds of toast withs coffee every day and Im a cow till I get it down me. This every day

Was a 7.3 for me this morning.Warm but cloudy up here today . Congratulations to @:ElenkaHm on your Hs today . Breakfast for me is a small Greek yoghurt pot with blueberries and a decaf coffee.Enjoy whatever it is your doing today folks

7.1 today. I've been looking at my BG's more closely last night/this morning, mainly due to a virus I've picked up. Adjusted my basal last night/this morning from 7u to 9u evening, & from 16u to 20u this morning.
See what happens. If I encounter hypos then I've overcompensated, if BGs too high then 'not enough'.
Last night they climbed after a cheese omelette with 5u bolus, not usually recommended, watching as the reading went above 12 from a much lower BG. They came down at about 1 am, six hours after eating!
They're mainly behaving after brekkas, it's coming up to 2 hours later and they're reading 12.8, a little high. Hopefully, they'll be on track later.

I've been taking fewer fluids too (from 7 pints - to four pints) as the Dr. reckoned too much water was cleaning out my kidneys too thoroughly, and sodium levels were 123. After a week, they're now 127, still very low. I wonder if they'll take me off Mirtazapine in the future. Apparently it has an effect on the renal system.

Coffee with real double cream and then berries (usually a few rasps and blueberries or mixed summer berries which includes blackberries and blackcurrants but it will be stewed rhubarb soon by the look of it in the garden) with mixed seeds, natural, creamy Greek style yoghurt and a dusting of cinnamon.
Porridge is like rocket fuel for me and I try to avoid bread as much as possible.

4.3 this morning had a bad night was in the red for over 3 hours but the alarm didn't go off, checked it out and its fine I could be I was in a deep sleep but if I don't wake up hubby does, left me with a bad head most of the day and feeling washed out.

Evening all... it's been a lovely day, really warm.

9.0 first thing after another poor night. Woke at 4:15 am and spent 3 hours at least with the internal monologue. Firstly worrying about the "Onboarding" thing that I must do for the Ypsopump, though I have plenty of time to do it. Then what shall I pack for the city-break as weather looks undecided and then a general catalogue of things that don't matter in the slightest! Finally woke at 09:10 - far too late.

Still managed to pack in a lot of things today... trip to M&S as I had got 15% discount on trousers on my Sparks card. Got what I wanted but hubby went off inspecting the meat counter and found some reduced duck breasts.... well fortunately I got another 10% off those! Then home and a meeting with neighbours regarding people (including some heavy vehicles) using our driveways as turning circles and how we can stop it as it's down to us to fund any repairs to wear and tear, followed by a huge pile of ironing whilst hubby painted the smaller of the two sheds...will shortly be cooking beef stroganoff.

Congrats to @Elenka_HM on your HS.

Hope the rest of you enjoy your evenings.

My regular breakfast is a mix of berries with a handful of crushed walnuts and a dollop of Greek yogurt. Generally comes to just short of 20g carbs.

I have had 3 good pickings of rhubarb so far, really early this year, but then you are further North than me.

You could try a chain strung across the front of the driveway as is common where I live.

Congratulations on the HS @Elenka_HM

Breakfast for me is usually homemade full fat yoghurt with a sprinkle of mixed seeds, cinnamon and berries. Frozen berries ATM but checking our fruit cage daily waiting for the blueberries to appear closely followed by strawberries. This recent mild weather has helped. Rhubarb is finally growing so may try some stewed with cinnamon and stevia leaf.
Also enjoy poached egg on toast a couple of times a week.
