7.1 for me this morning but managed to keep in range all night although only just! I was in the high 9s a lot of the night, despite a low carb evening meal of spinach bhaji followed by ratatouille. Yes it was an odd combination of flavours but both are things I really enjoy. I am going through a batch cooking phase and trying to use up my massive veg shop from the other day, so I just ate whatever was ready with no real planning. Plenty of ratatouille for the freezer but hardly any spinach bhaji left. Does anyone else find it amazing how a massive bag of spinach disappears to nothing when you cook it! I definitely got my 5 a day yesterday!
@TinaD Really sorry to hear you have had such bad luck with your health and at the least convenient time, in the middle of a house move.
You have my sympathies both in terms of your injuries and the food situation. I don't know how I would manage in hospital. If you lived nearer I would bring you some ratatouille. Sounds like you are are managing to retain your usual pragmatic approach to life, which is very admirable. Hope your operation is a success and you can work on regaining your mobility soon.
That’s some amazing gift.5.8 this morning hope all you mums had a lovely day, My daughter bought me a lovely ring and we all went out for the day hubby bought me a lovely bracelet from Beverbrooks sale and a Bradley handbag.
Enjoy Madeira!Morning all, 5.6 here at Oh God o'clock, I’m not used to early hours. Already sitting in the coffee shop on the departure lounge at Gatwick, en route to Madeira. Where the weather is going to be very much the same as home, only possibly wetter. At least it’s getting away from the builders, they are carrying on, and son and daughter have moved in to supervise.
