Group 7-day waking average?

Morning all.4.4 for me this morning.Nice sunny day, windy though.Traveling to Bishop Auckland for a Bedlington terrier walk .Is that near you Rebrascora) ? Enjoy your day people
Hope you and your dog enjoy the social walk. Is it in the grounds of Auckland Castle? If so, it is really nice.
Bishop is about 15 miles south of me. I am near Consett.

7.1 for me this morning but managed to keep in range all night although only just! I was in the high 9s a lot of the night, despite a low carb evening meal of spinach bhaji followed by ratatouille. Yes it was an odd combination of flavours but both are things I really enjoy. I am going through a batch cooking phase and trying to use up my massive veg shop from the other day, so I just ate whatever was ready with no real planning. Plenty of ratatouille for the freezer but hardly any spinach bhaji left. Does anyone else find it amazing how a massive bag of spinach disappears to nothing when you cook it! I definitely got my 5 a day yesterday!

@TinaD Really sorry to hear you have had such bad luck with your health and at the least convenient time, in the middle of a house move.
You have my sympathies both in terms of your injuries and the food situation. I don't know how I would manage in hospital. If you lived nearer I would bring you some ratatouille. Sounds like you are are managing to retain your usual pragmatic approach to life, which is very admirable. Hope your operation is a success and you can work on regaining your mobility soon.

Good morning! 7'3 this very early morning (no, unfortunately, I didn't just wake up)

Another busy day at work. I worked a different section this time, I didn't run any less, but at least the morning has gone really quickly!

Happy Mother's Day to all the mums in the forum! I'm not saying it to my own mum because my country celebrates it in May and she might think I lost it 😛

Oh my goodness @rebrascora, I didn't realise how close we live!

I'm 10 minutes from Consett! I'm a midwife for the Derwentside team, based out of Shotley Bridge (although I cover Stanley clinics, so I'm up at the Family Hub there mostly). Small world!

5.4 for me today.

Church this morning and then I'm going to nip across to see my mum with her card and gift. Otherwise my husband and the one child still at home have promised to spoil me!

Happy Mother's Day to all mums on here and best wishes to anyone for whom today is a bit more complicated x

She might want two cards and presents every year now.
Shhh, don't let her know!! :D

Tbh I'm not a great gift giver and even less since I moved abroad 😳. My parents and brother get presents for Christmas and birthdays, and usually not in the right dates but in my closest visit home (or their visit here, like this month!). That way I can give them myself and don't have to worry about delivery.

Afternoon all - it's glorious. Let's hope it stays that way. Yesterday by the time my friend and I went for a walk it had turned dark grey and was spitting with rain. Today it's forecast to stay lovely - fingers crossed!

8.6 this morning after correcting a low around 3 am. Obviously 2 x Dextrose and a whole stem ginger cookie was too much. Shot straight up to 9 and stayed there.

Am now all prepared to welcome our friends for a meal, just need to warm the goulash and pop the B&B choc pudding in the oven. Followed by a game or two of RatRace...hilarious game. J has gone out for a walk, I cannot keep up with him, so I walk separately.

I'm a childless orphan, so I wish all the Mums in the forum a very happy day! Take care all and enjoy the day.

I wish you all, coming up for you NORMAL lovely lot, a Very Good Morning & have a Wonderful Day! 😉 My body clock is obviously still out of whack! 🙄😉
who said we were normal ?😱o_O😛

I just pretend to be normal in public. Only my family and friends know what I am really like.
Also you lovely people on the forum are definitely not boring "normal". I see you as 50 shades of individual, interesting, entertaining, informative and determined. With a good sprinkle of self deprecation, humour and stoicism in the face of adversity. Don't ever change. It's why I feel at home here.<3

Good afternoon. Thought I got up early when smartwatch said 6.30am. Forgot it wouldn't update until I synchronised it to my phone.
A 7.2 this morning. Lovely sunny day so I have been clearing the foliage around our pond. I can actually see the little waterfall again. It's not turned on as we need to fix the leak now the weather is starting to warm up.

Hope that all you who chose to celebrate Mother's Day had a nice day. Everyone enjoy this sunny Sunday.😎

15:39 BS 7.6 after a longer sleep this time sometime after 6am so, that’s a good sign: I can sleep longer with less discomfort; wrist is just a bit stiff on waking & stretches helped to loosen it up. Tresiba just in before posting a little bit earlier than yesterday: 20 minutes; every minutes counts? 🙄😉

BS is starting to normalise again with NR doses just -4 from normal for me so, it seems that 60 basal was a good guess & by tomorrow NR doses will be as per usual?

I woke to glorious sunshine, through the bathroom window when doing the natural business & washing my hands for FT testing, & it’s just a little bit nippy still. The days are getting brighter AND I, in italics, feel brighter too! Not QUITE that old almost forgotten feeling of “Sunny on the inside” but, I’m beginning to see glimmerings of it or should that be FEEL glimmerings of it or at least thinking it! :D Awww! I’ve missed that “Sunny on the inside” feeling! A Big Sigh emoji! 🙂

Woke to a hypo of 3.7, didn't treat due to FOTF kicking in... it was 6.7 at brekkas.

We watched a fillum on the tv - Another Mother's Son. Sorted out Netflix which was harking on about a password. We spent 20 minutes or so flicking through content offered by the said channel/app.

This afternoon I set to to fix up the long bench as it collapsed as I sat on it it earlier. It's staying a bench of sorts after my DIY abilities on it. Also fixed the main and somewhat smaller, bench. They both are in need of a lick of creosote or paint.

This evening we took the OHs family (MiL & BiL) out for a 'Mothering Sunday tea at the chippy restaurant in the West End. Before saying our goodbye's as we set off for home. I was good having the fish (no chips) & mushy peas, and no pudding.

All in all - a good day day was had by everyone.

5.8 this morning hope all you mums had a lovely day, My daughter bought me a lovely ring and we all went out for the day hubby bought me a lovely bracelet from Beverbrooks sale and a Bradley handbag.
That’s some amazing gift.

I popped to mum and dad’s this morning (really to pick up kaftans) and didn’t want to go empty handed so nipped into coop and bought a retro box of chocolates, Milk Tray, which I carefully wrapped in a coop bag - tied nicely in a bow because I do have standards! Mum was out (of course!) so I left it on the kitchen counter after gliding it with post-it notes saying “Bet you can’t guess where this came from” “it took ages to find the perfect gift” “and to wrap it” “but you’re worth it” “and I’m not buying you flowers again” “but you can’t kill this!”

Oh and the kaftans are awful and I’m going to try and get a refund on five of them now. Two I’m keeping but the others are hideous.

Morning all, 5.6 here at Oh God o'clock, I’m not used to early hours. Already sitting in the coffee shop on the departure lounge at Gatwick, en route to Madeira. Where the weather is going to be very much the same as home, only possibly wetter. At least it’s getting away from the builders, they are carrying on, and son and daughter have moved in to supervise.

6.4

Otherwise nothing at all of note to report. Today’s pre-holiday laundry day which will mean tomorrow I can head out and buy any bits and bobs which I realise are needed but otherwise nowt else on the agenda.
