Out of interest, which part of Lincolnshire? My mother was a Lincolnshire girl, from Appleby, and I have family in Scunthorpe and Gainsborough.

We live near Coningsby. The neighbours can be a bit noisy but luckily they only do night flying once a month or so. Missed the Red Arrows practice on Friday as I was indoors doing Tai Chi class.

Good photos! We thought a bomb had gone off about 18 months ago, until we realised it was a sonic boom from typhoons based at Coningsby on a quick reaction alert passing overhead.
We live right in the south west corner of the county, within 2-3 miles of 3 other counties - Rutland (in 2 directions), Northants and Cambridgeshire.
My grandmother was from Scunthorpe, but I have never been there, she spent almost all of her married life in Doncaster.

You get used to the fact you can't talk in the garden when they are flying overhead. I really like to see the planes from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. They have cleared all the planes to fly again after the very sad loss of Sqn Ldr Mark Long when his spitfire crashed last year. Unfortunately I don't have any decent photos on my phone.
We also have family in Lincolnshire within about a 25 mile radius.

Hmmm….I do that, same word but a different number, then write it in notes on my phone. Not sure it’s the most secure way but needs must! Too many passwords these days, drives me mad!
 
Morning all. 5.4 on this frosty morning.

Up and at ‘em early as childcare for one today. Going to be sunny all day, but not particularly warm, so should get in the garden with her and/or go to the park.

Morning a 6.1 for me after first flat night in a few days after more walking than usual.
Dogs to drop off at 0915 and then daughter coming at 11am to dog sit other one and then off to Ludlow for
couple of days.Nice break and can visit restaurants etc which is always difficult when away with dogs etc though obviously we can go locally.
Have not planned route and know area well so go where we feel.
Had gardener yesterday for tidy up and is coming back today and done a really nice job and after patio and drive are washed in 2 weeks then garden should look best it has in ages and allows my wife to do the nice things as we have lots of plants waiting to go in ground and she always likes to buy more.
Did get to the tip which I love and then car valeted so only packing to do this morning which won’t take long.
She already has her eye on more Tree Ferns so expecting she wants a tropical rain forest to wander around when it gets a bit warmer.

Morning all. 5.1 after an overnight correction and a restless night with strange dreams. This new sensor is still a bit iffy. I'll give it today to settle then ring Abbott if needed.

Today i have a friend coming round so before she comes i need to get the washing on the line. Its lovely and sunny but cold.
