Group 7-day waking average?

Morning all. 🙂 5.9 here.

Snap! @eggyg - it’s my OH’s birthday tomorrow but Wednesday’s my busiest day at work (morning, afternoon and evening classes) so we’re going out to his choice of restaurant for lunch on Thursday. I just hope the weather perks up, especially for the weekend - there’s an arboretum I want to go to on Sunday. It’s part of the National Garden Scheme - used to be a golf course, apparently. A walk and a bit of cake = a fitting end to his birthday week!

I’m pooped. Slept badly last night. Roll on the weekend.

morning all hope you are all well and enjoying life.
i had a nanna at 630a they tested bg at 734am and it was 14.5 OMG.Another staff said did you wash it no was the answer so they tested again on another finger after cleaning it and it was 7.5 i know a nanna affects me so was exoecting it about that level. The first one sent us into a panic.

Hola!

5.3

And went to another flamenco performance last night. Much more engaging and exciting than the Sara Baras. This was Manuel Liñán’s Muerta de Amor.

It was absolutely superb on all counts. Quite simply one of the best things I’ve seen on stage in a long time.

I woke to the Libre alarm this morning - so a 3.9 for me!

Our house clearing yesterday went well, we have done almost all remaining clothes (all of which are too big for Mum and Dad), and cleared some obvious rubbish, filling both recycling and normal rubbish bins. There is so much to go through but we’ve planned one day a week to declutter and get the house ready to sell at the end of this month, then we can tackle the furniture up until a sale completes.

Just a trip to the hairdresser today so a bit of a quieter day.

Take care everyone!

Another 4.8 for me today. 🙂 More rain on the way. :(

Morning, 6.1 for me on waking at the very early hour of 4.30!
I was shattered when I got in last night, I was fast asleep by half 9.

Today I have another scan to see how the baby is doing, as he was too wiggly to see clearly last time! Hopefully they will be able to get some clear images today. Not much else planned, moving some stock around the library this afternoon which will keep me busy.

Take care everyone

Morning all. Wet and windy here today, but happy with a 5.3 today.

Have a good day folks and stay dry.

Morning

4.6 today, head feels like it is full of cotton wool. Off to a local theatre tonight to see Kinky Boots.
Hope you feel better soon. We saw Kinky Boots a few weeks ago, its great! Enjoy!

5.7 for me on a cool, grey and blustery Berkshire morning. Just started to rain, too. Just as well I got the laundry up to date and out on the line yesterday. It would have had to be the tumble dryer today.

Tuesday, so usual routine - swim later (the Leisure Centre should be less busy now that the schools are back), and accompanying my wife when she does her dog walk after work. Hopefully it will have stopped raining by then. Covid booster at our surgery in between.

Hope the weather doesn't spoil anyone's plans for the day.

She said I need to see “the professionals”, are Brody and Doyle still alive? I wonder if they’ve still got the Capri?
Martin Shaw (Doyle) is still with us but Lewis Collins (Bodie) passed away in 2013 and the Capri is back as an electric SUV:-

Morning all - moderately horrible, grey clouds and trees thrashing around. The rain really thrashed down in the night.

6.7 this morning. It's become "normal" for me to have a spike after lunch. Quite why I don't know. Now I am getting a hypo around 5 - 6 pm and unlike before HCL when 2 Dextro and half a cookie would sort it, it's now persistent and needs loads of carbs - yesterday after 17g carb it came up a bit, then dropped again, another 17g carb wouldn't sort it and all whilst I was trying to cook chicken Balti and Chana Dahl for dinner. I am sick of it! Plus I just don't understand it. It started in the car on the way home and to my horror I had no glucose in my bag. Got through the door and was just eating the 2nd glucose tab when J answered the phone and passed it to me. It was the Diabetic Nurse from the GPs surgery wanting to do my annual review (I'd had no notice whatsoever of this). I managed to talk to her and she's lovely, but as she admits, she has no knowledge of HCLs at all. "It's all getting too technical". Yes it has and I am none too sure the DSNs at the hospital clinic are all that au-fait either as there are so many different ones.

I was very pleased to hear that @eggyg's visit to the nurse was so successful! Go Eggyg!!!

@ColinUK so pleased you saw some Flamenco you liked.

I better get on....

A 4.1 for me just as the Libre went crackers at me, we had to get up anyway as my wife is away at Preston hospital for a MRI Scan this morning - she's got a friend driving her there. I had a wee walk just after.

I've just been pootling about all morning waiting for my guitar tutor to arrive for a session.

BG is behaving it'self from a night's hypo's - too much basal last night - I'm going to bring them down to 7u maybe 6u tonight. The morning's still at 15u and no afternoon hypo's for the past two days either - at last, doing something right.

There's quite a breeze today as I found out on my jaunt out earlier, cloudy with intermittent sunshine. Warm/cool earlier and the same now.

Hope you enjoy your day whatever the weather!

Good morning folks. The cat woke me at 6am as normal for her breakfast and I sorted out the chickens just before the rain started. Joining @Robin and @PattiEvans with a 6.7 today. Quite surprised as we had a chicken schnitzel with coleslaw and skin on chips last night followed by coffee with Baileys filled chocolate biscuits. The DF must have been looking the other way. Enjoyed the film yesterday too and we shared a small box of popcorn 😱:D oh well it's only our anniversary once a year.
Planning to reseed the bare patches in the lawn when the rain stops later. The garden is looking very fresh and green after the recent rain.

Hope your head is feeling better soon @Grannylorraine and enjoy Kinky Boots. It's a great production.

The sun has finally come out here. Have a good Tuesday and take care x

That’s not a Capri! We had a Capri, 1978, bought in 1982BC ( before children), it was beige with a brown leatherette roof. Mr Eggy cried when we had to part with her ( Fiona) in 1993 after the both of our third daughter. He’s never got over it.

Dad had one that was Custard Yellow. Then he had another one that was Silver Fox.

We were clearly young enough to fit in the back comfortably when he had those but then he traded up and got a Marina.

My late father-in-law (first marriage) had one and had so much trouble with it that he started to refer to it as a Ford Cr*pheap.
