Group 7-day waking average?

Good morning folks. A 9 for me today around 8.30am. It does rise with fotf I think if Ihave a late breakfast.. If I am up before 6.30 and check then I get lower numbers.
Planted a couple of fruit trees yesterday. They have been in pots for a while. Hubby dug up a huge amount of builders rubble about 10cm down from the surface of the lawn. Probably from when the extension was added about 20 years ago. Just finished and the heavens opened. Hopefully the rain has topped up the water butt's.
It's our 46th wedding anniversary today. We are going to see the new Mission Impossible film this afternoon then out for a meal.

Hope your appointment has a good outcome @eggyg and hope your BG settles down @freesia. Your bounty bar confection sounds delicious @Grannylorraine.

Have a good Monday everyone and take care.
Happy anniversary @silver minion
You will enjoy Mission Impossible, all action if you like that

Afternoon folks.
As promised I’m back with the craic. It was the BEST DSN appointment I’ve ever had. I was in 40 minutes. She was able to prescribe me Fiasp, she’d already changed my prescription to Libre 2*. She was very sorry I’d slipped through the diabetes net and I hadn’t been seen by anyone for six years. I was still down as Type 2, they don’t have a dropdown box for Type 3c, so she’s changed it to Type 1 with a note to say it’s caused by pancreatic resection. She said I need to see “the professionals”, are Brody and Doyle still alive? I wonder if they’ve still got the Capri? 😛 She’s referring me to the hospital, it could be a while she said but at least I’m on the radar. I’ve got an actual face to face appointment with a GP next Monday to discuss all things gastric. An appointment on the 23rd to get my pneumonia and shingles jabs and another appointment with her on the 30th to review the Fiasp. ( I’m starting it tomorrow, picked it up on my way home). All in all I’m blooming chuffed to bits.:D

Great news @eggyg.

5.6 on waking this morning.

Reading this thread I realise I’ve been missing the odd few days. Life is pretty full on at the moment, today we spent most of our time starting to clear my parents house. Really hard emotionally, going through their things whilst they are in the care home, it feels wrong. But we need to sell the house and so that means getting rid of lots of things. Sadly the stair lift company won’t buy it back and would charge £150 to remove it “for scrap”. So, we need to look around to see if any company is out there to buy it off us to refurb and sell on.

Meanwhile Mum’s dementia seems to be getting worse and she isn’t talking with Dad and resentful that he “tricked” her into going to the care home, making him feel depressed and all alone. The home want to do a little family celebration for their 70th wedding anniversary next month, at this moment I don’t think it’s something we should do.

@eggyg - so glad your appointment went better than expected! It’s so annoying that people try to fit us into boxes and we all know that diabetes just isn’t the same for anyone. I’m still unhappy with a blanket T2 diagnosis as for all intents and purposes I am treated like a T1, the fact I produce a smidge of insulin from my pancreas doesn’t really change things.

@freesia - hope you are ok, sending hugs.

Take care everyone.

Sorry to hear your mum's dementia is getting worse. It must be a worry for you and so sad for your dad. There is time though before next month. Your mum could be having a better day by the time the anniversary comes and it would be nice for your dad. Maybe it could be something very low key?

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear! I’m having difficulty breathing today my asthma/hay fever combo is so bad in the sunny, damp, cloud covered day when tree pollen is rife! I’m just sitting upright in bed not able to move much: already had a couple of asthma attacks & had a lot of inhalers that my heart rate is through the roof; so, no more inhalers! Using essential oils instead a blend to ease breathing aptly called “Breatheasy” & putting it directly onto the skin under both the nostrils of my nose! It’s helping more than the inhalers but, it needs reapplying as it evaporates! Still a bit wheezy intermittently but, heart rate is coming down & I can breathe without choking with 2 asthma attacks earlier! A Heavy Breathing, Panting & Wheezy emoji!

not posted here for a couple of days my BS was 5.1 on both days, we had a lovely day out today visiting a local garden centre, it's massive, lovely rural area near Sherwood Forest, they have a huge farm shop, two different eateries depending on if you want a snack or a full meal, I bought some more tomato plants, a cucumber plant never tried growing them before so that should be fun.

Happy Anniversary @silver minion hope you enjoy the film were going to se it tomorrow.

Morning and a 6.1 for me after another correction dose but stayed within range.
Nice day yesterday but much fresher today so dogs not out for long duty done and back in.
Out to Chester today but fairly standard day so will be routine and enjoying life at the moment.
@eggyg great that you are so happy with your appointment and hope you get the outcome you desire.
@Pam123 glad that you had a good trip near Sherwood Forest and I used to like travelling that area in fact I like Notts in general and the people.
Have a good day all

Good morning all. 6.4 on this damp day. It didn’t half rain through the night. Set to continue today. Glad I got two loads of washing done and hung out yesterday.

I just taken my first dose of Fiasp, I’ve high hopes of eating my breakfast quite soon instead of an hour down the line. I better make sure I don’t forget though and get engrossed in my iPad!

Only plan today is starting to prep for middle daughter’s birthday lunch on Thursday. It’s actually her birthday tomorrow but she’s working. She’s requested a “ picky” lunch. Unfortunately, we won’t be sitting in the garden as, per usual in June, it’s forecast rain and quite cool.

Have a great day.

Morning 6.2 today

my eye clinic (DMO) clinic appointment was unfortunately canceled yesterday, however it’s only moved to next Monday, was hopeful they could see me yesterday despite them sending me a message over the weekend as have my DVLA eye check at Specsavers on Thursday.

Have a Terrific Tuesday everyone 🙂

Morning all, 6.7 here. Raining here a bit, just a few teaspoonfuls so far, enough to wet the pony, who will probably then roll in the mud. He’s got a physio appointment this morning, just routine, he gets a nice back massage, daughter normally supervises but has a work deadline, so I've got to go up to the yard and make sure he’s clean, and then trot him up and down the yard while the physio has a look at him.

Morning all. 9.1 despite a 4u correction before bed and staying in the 12s most of yesterday and overnight. It might be because today i've woken aching all over, fuzzy head and a bit of a cough. Sofa day today i think. At least i'm back in single figures for now. I ended up having an argument with mum yesterday about T1. She just doesn't understand, keeps on at me. I feel guilty now but don't have the energy today to sort it yet.
