Group 7-day waking average?

@ColinUK Thanks Colin, I went for the Ge-ek Biotin it has zinc and selenium, it says 2 tabs daily but reading about biotin I may need only 1, half dose is 5,000ug. I am taking their collagen glow as well and put myself on hydration tabs to see if that helps (taking half those evening and other half morning) My finger pads are looking a little more hydrated today 🙂 been dosing for 5 days now.

Good morning folks
a prickable finger today :D yay 6.0 and feeling much better. Have a great day everyone, fab weather to enjoy. <3

I have been taking Biotin supplement for a few years now the strength is 12.000 mcg and Zinc 100 mg never had a problem with taking it.
Thanks Pam that is helpful.
I mentioned info to ColinUK perhaps I will do the full dose again see how I go. 🙂
6.0 this morning but I did prick yesterday and was 7.0 not so good.
Congratulations on yr very good levels 🙂

@rebrascora I did wave as we flew overhead but I didn’t see you wave back!
That will be because I was at home in County Durham and my alter ego @Robin clearly didn't look up and wave at the right time on my behalf.... or more likely you didn't recognise her because you were looking out for me! Hope you have a fab holiday and the weather isn't too wild but the party atmosphere is!

5.8 for me this morning, but another 2 JBs were required overnight and woke at 4am tossing and turning worrying about my brother who is really not right at all and unless there is some serious change, he is not fit to live independently which is a real worry. They took him into hospital but bloods came back OK so he was discharged. They think the morphine for his fractured pelvis is causing the confusion but it is scary just how much he has deteriorated. My sister went over and got him yesterday for a couple of days but I really don't know what will happen long term unless there is some miracle turnaround. His mental ability has been declining for a while before this, not helped by his lifelong reliance on alcohol and we don't know if he has been drinking whilst taking the morphine and he won't give us an honest answer if we ask.
Thanks for the urine dip strip suggestion @Leadinglights but he wouldn't manage to test himself anyway or even collect a sample for us to test, even if he lived on the doorstep which he doesn't anymore. It's really sad! He has a daughter who has 4 young children, so she isn't in a position to help much and he is becoming resistant to help anyway as feels he is being ganged up on. Sorry for offloading, but as some of you know, it helps just to process it by writing it down.

Happy Wedding Anniversary @Bloden. Enjoy your celebratory lunch. 🙂

Morning all, 4.1 here, crawling along the top of the red all night, had a couple of JBs at one point, which raised me a fraction, then I went straight back down.
Maybe I will have to try this out at breakfast. Who knew Nutella came in ginormous pump dispensers…when's Christmas?

If he had blood tests in hospital then they should have picked up if it was a UTI.
You do feel rather helpless in those situations.

Yes, the hospital said his tests were normal. I was thinking more for the future if this situation persists which I suspect it may.

So sorry about your brother @rebrascora. Its an upsetting and worrying time for you and your sister. Offload away, we don't mind. Take care.

Morning all and 7.3 for me.

Just been for my COVID jab, I always seem to be the youngest there for these boosters.

Nice day but the wind is still a bit on the lazy side.

Don't know what's happening on the gig front these days but we've just got another two definites and fingers crossed for another two higher profile ones. Might as well take advantage while it lasts.

Have a good day everyone.

Morning all. A happy 5.5 for me on another fine sunny day.

Hi everyone. 6'7.

Yesterday was very productive. After book club I went to Dunelm to buy a spare bed linen set. I was also lucky to find some over door hooks, which I was missing and I struggled to find some that actually fit my bedroom door. Then off to the nearby Asda for a food shop.

I was feeling a bit richer on Tuesday, being the first of the month, with a minimum wage increase and having been unusually lucky with cash tips over the weekend 😎 That feeling didn't last. My usual cafe has increased prices considerably and this week's groceries included a big bottle of olive oil that hurt my pocket  (but is going to last me ages and to me is worth it).

I also got some chicken. I had not bought raw meat in a long time, therefore I'd not cooked it either. I made a small roast with potatoes and veg, and cooked some lentils at the same time for another meal. Both the lentils and the chicken needed more seasoning but is not a bad start. Soon after dinner I felt my stomach a bit weird and thought: "uh-oh, did I not cook the chicken enough? It looks done, it tastes done..." But nah, it was my period coming to mess with me lol.

Since I was in my "lady of the house" energy I finished the day mending a great amount of socks and some bits of my work uniform. Not the best quality work but the buttons are in place and the toes are not sticking out!

I might have to perform the ultimate act of self sacrifice and try it out tomorrow! (I resisted this morning) I was wondering if it was a specially thinned down version.
This is on the menu at breakfast here…IMG_2818.jpeg

Afternoon/evening all... quite the nastiest we've had in a long time, with teeming rain and a horrible cold wind.

8.6 this morning - not the best!

The day started OK with me meeting a friend and catching the bus to St Ives for lunch. By the time we got there the sun had gone in and it had clouded over. We had lunch with a lovely view over the harbour - fish finger sandwiches which were very tasty. By the time we got out of the cafe a vicious wind had arisen and we scuttled into Fore St which was rather more sheltered than the Harbour. I spent some time in my favourite shop (Brocante) and got a very pretty little leather covered handbag mirror with a gold and enamel bee on the front in a pretty box as a present for the friend with whom I share a birthday... also got a card which says "If you have to ask if it's too early to drink wine then you are an amateur and I'm afraid we cannot be friends" - well it appealed to my SOH. Another half an hour round the shops was enough and we trecked up to the bus stop, which has now moved miles out of town due to roadworks.. and resides on a wind-blown exposed cliff with no shelter whatsoever. At this point the heavy rain arrived. We had just missed a bus as we couldn't leg it fast enough to get the one which was actually at the bus stop. It was a small mercy that the smart coffee shop next to the original bus stop was open, so we went in and bought coffees to pass the hour's wait until the next bus. Whilst there my saint of a husband rang me and offered to drive over and pick us up - an offer we accepted with alacrity!

Oh and I forgot, just as I was leaving the house this morning the Osteo consultant's secretary rang and apparently the consultant wanted to do my knee replacement before June.... Whilst that would be wonderful it would mean cancelling the very expensive river cruise we have booked....it is insured, but I was so flabbergasted at the speed of things that I have put it off and I am back on the waiting list. Ho hum, have I made a huge mistake?

Sorry to hear about your brother @rebrascora, please offload to us as much as you want.

I'm salivating at the chocolate heaven @Robin and @ColinUK have found themselves in. Lurrrve chocolate con churros.

Hope everyone is having a good day! Better go and change my pod now.

Good evening folks. Don't know where today went. A 7.3 for me this morning. Went to my friend's house to start on their fish tank. Did a thorough clean of the filter tank. Used several buckets of rain water to clean the spongy filter mats and refill the tank after syphoning loads of sludge out.
Back in our garden this afternoon. It's starting to look tidier. Hubby washed and polished his motorbike. Unfortunately he has strained his hand ripping dead tree trunks out this week, and now he can't work the clutch lever properly. Hoping it will be OK in a few days so we can get out for a nice ride. There are a few local bike nights coming up later this month.

Happy Anniversary @Bloden
Sorry your brother is not getting better @rebrascora . It's difficult when they won't accept help and adds to your worries.

Those churros look delicious..so jealous! @ColinUK

Hope everyone has had a good day.
