Group 7-day waking average?

Morning all. 6.1 here. Nice work, Omnipod 5.

Tired this morning. Hubby tosses and turns most nights, so I don’t get my proper beauty sleep. I really must keep the spare bed clear of “things to do” so that I can sleep there instead. I’m pooped!

Sending lots of (((hugs))) @eggyg. I hope they move a bit faster now that your granddaughter’s had a scan and they can see the problem. I can’t believe what they put her through!
We have a memory foam mattress and it doesn't bounce about hardly at all when moving about (it's usually the snoring that sends me into the spare room) but we notice a big difference when sleeping (or not) in a different bed like in hotels like Premier Inn.

Morning all - there's a light overcast and the sun is trying to break through. Whether it will or not remains to be seen, but at least there's no wind.

8.3 this morning @ 8:30. The Libre low alarm went off around 7ish and I ate 3 Dextrose that pushed it up there from 3.9. Was trying to disturb hubby as little as possible as he had an early start to go for an MRI scan for back pain that he's been suffering for years. No results were communicated apparently. We shall have to wait and see.

Today we might finally get our Sunday dinner. On Sunday I discovered that half the chicken was frozen solid due to being at the back of the fridge. We had Swedish style meatballs instead. Yesterday we didn't get back from shopping until 6pm and I was too blooming tired to mess around plus we'd not have been eating until 9pm... we had fish fingers and chips instead.

Sillyness and it all pales into insignificance in light of what's happening to @eggyg 's granddaughter. I do hope now they have discovered the cause she will receive prompt and effective treatment. Seriously wishing her well and keeping my fingers crossed for her Elaine.

Hope you all have a pleasant day.....

After we stayed in a Premier Inn for the first time we (well, mostly my wife) were so impressed with the mattress that we had a look to see what make it was. It was a Hypnos and that's what we have on our bed now.

We also have a top of the range Hypnos bed! It's incredibly comfortable - even for hubby with his bad back.

It's a 5.3 for me this chilly morning.

Have a good day folks.

A third for Hypnos! We went over to the factory in Princes Risborough, (which is only about an hour from here), where you could lie on them all and try them out (they offer you a coffee, too, to keep you awake!). That was after finding the Premier Inn beds really comfortable. You can buy a Premier Inn mattress, but the factory said they do them at a price for PI and only expect them to last 5 years, so we bought one of their regular ones, which was more expensive, but discounted in their factory shop, and it is still comfortable about 10 years later.

Our local furniture shop had a range of about 10 of all different prices and we spent about 3 afternoons lying on the different ones. The shop management (a local family) were most obliging. It was £1500 for the mattress and divan which is expensive, but sleep is priceless.

8.5 for me this morning but it was an hour or so earlier than usual as we decided to fill up the car with old cardboard boxes. I took them to the recycling centre after my keep fit session this morning. It has been showery all morning.
Yesterday I experienced first hypo. Started feeling very light headed and dizzy and out if sorts. Tested with FP 3.9 so glad awareness kicked in around 4. Took a couple of jelly babies followed by a chicken salad wrap. It was my own fault as we got so busy in the garden I lost track of time and ate 2 hours later than normal. Retested after 40 mins and back up to 5.9.

So sad to hear about your granddaughter @eggyg it must have been very scary. Glad they have diagnosed the cyst so she can get it treated. It sounds so painful. Poor lass. Sending hugs for a speedy recovery. :care:

@eggyg Really sorry to hear about your granddaughter I hope she will be sorted out quickly, I have no words to say how she was treated to begin with its terrible I have no confidence in the NHS whatsoever. 6.7 this morning high for me but I did drink a small flask of orange which I take up every night in case of a hypo, wen tot the loo, felt dizzy sensor had come off so just drank the juice so my fault.

4.1 and falling, I had a JB and fell back asleep, woke up with a 3.8 a couple of hours later... didn't have a anything as my BGs starting rising with FOTF. By the time we had brekkas they're were at 6.2.

Had a guitar lesson followed by encountering a period of psychosis, I quickly had 5mg Haliperidol feeling better after ten minutes or so. Went for a walk to try to feel better.

Hopefully @eggyg that your granddaughter will get some treatment now.
