Group 7-day waking average?

Morning all. 5.3 today after an overnight correction.

Today i have physio this morning re my heel. The last few days away have been really painful as trying to ease the pain when walking, my other knee is now painful and has given way a few times and my back hurts walking any distance. Hopefully physio will have a few more ideas as exercises for my foot aren't working.

Morning everyone. At last a 5.2 for me today, it’s been a while since I had one of those!

Have a great day folks and stay well.

Morning all! A pesky little 6.9 this morning which always means I bring out the sex tape pic

I’m thinking the slight uptick is from extreme physical trauma. I had my brows threaded and tinted last night and got my back and shoulders waxed for the first time this century. OMG the pain!!!

Honestly I dunno how you ladies get your legs waxed regularly let alone how you even consider more intimate waxing??!

Although obviously you’ll say it’s nothing like the pain of childbirth but then you don’t know what it’s like to have to shave every morning and endure the agony of the styptic pencil on a razor cut that’s bleeding. Now that’s real pain!

(Booked in for an eyelash tint and a patch test for a lash lift tomorrow).

Morning All - 6.3 for me this morning which I was quite pleased with as snaffled some of Mark's Tony Chocolonely choc last night on the way up to bed. Woke up at 7am by dogs barking (actually it's only Wilbur who barks which must be very annoying for the other two). Came downstairs and saw a gas tanker outside - we've just switched to a new supplier. Nice chap - he left home in Harrogate this morning at 4.45am!! and comes over to Cumbria every day. @eggyg Since we've moved up here I've set myself a challenge "Not to do the Wainrights" a bit like when Mark and I went to Jamaica in the early 90s and we set ourselves the challenge for me to get on the plane home without braids in my hair as literally everywhere we walked people said "Can I braid your hair" - one day Mark was out kayaking and went over near a beach (I was nowhere in sight) and a woman called from the beach "Can I braid your wife's hair" - it was hilarious! And yes, I got on the plane home with my hair in a pony tail - not a braid in sight. @ColinUK it's been a long time since I've let anyone near me with a tub of hot wax - just reading your post has brought back vivid memories 😱 Have a good day everyone xxx

I've suffered on and off with plantar fasciitis over the years and I can honestly say that the thing that really made it go away was having some bespoke orthotics made and then having them in a pair of crocs by the side of my bed and literally putting my feet straight in to them first thing in the morning - before even going to the loo (and now if I was going to the loo in the night). It was explained to me by the guy who made them for me that overnight the fascia on the bottom of the foot, which is like clingfilm in it's thinness, starts to repair - we then get out of bed (or out of the car after a long journey) and we walk on it and tear it again - by putting your feet straight into orthotics in the morning (or in the middle of the night) you break the "tear and repair" cycle. I've recently started getting it again in my left foot (after about 8 years with no pain) so I'm off to a clinic in Settle in a few weeks to have some new orthotics made up - but then I'll put my current one in slippers/crocs and keep the new ones to move around in my shoes. I feel your pain. I've also found that wearing Fitflop slippers really helps so might be worth trying those too and keep the orthotics for your shoes.

I got my legs, bikini line and eyebrows waxed for years. Not quite as bad as childbirth but getting there. When I became menopausal the hairs on my legs became sparser, so I just shaved them. Then the bikini line did the same, so I went au natural. I got my eyebrows waxed every three weeks up to a couple of years ago. After missing a few appointments, beauticians hols, my hols, bad back etc I realised they didn’t look any different so I now just pluck the odd white one out! The only problem is they all grow on and under my chin now! Thank God for a good pair of tweezers and a magnifying mirror!

And even without all that professional assistance you’re absolutely gorgeous!

The things we women do to look good. Never waxed legs etc not into pain. I have issues with facial hair due to PCOS so used to shave them, but now i use a pr of tweezers and a good mirror I refuse to be one of those older ladies with hairs on their chin lol

Woke to a cold, grey and damp Berkshire morning but it's brightened up a little now. Managed to get another fence panel painted yesterday before the heavens opened. We had a 20-minute torrential downpour that put paid to me doing any more. Shame - the garden was bathed in sunshine when I started.

Tuesday, so my regular swim later, some shopping after lunch and a bit more fence painting if it's dry enough.

Hope the physio can sort things out for you @freesia

Congrats @Barrowman on your HS

Clever picture @ColinUK - I worked for 3M for 29 years and my wife still does (it's where we met). Wish I had a £ for every box of Scotch tape I've seen.

Still can't shake off those pesky waking 6s - it's a 6.1 this morning.

Enjoy your day.

I remember my friend's husband taking the mickey when she was eeking while epilating her legs. It was the old coiled spring style.
He took it off her and put it on his chest to demonstrate he was manly enough to bear the pain and promptly got it tangled in his very dense curly chest hair after it ripped several out. She had to cut it free.
Oh we had a good giggle about it. Shame it was pre Facebook lol

Morning all - it's lovely and sunny but with intermittent showers.

Was woken at 07:50 (Alarm was set for 08:00) by a low alarm. 4.0 which promptly changed to 3.9 in front of my eyes. Took 2 Dextrose and cursed the thing! It's now risen to 9.2 with nothing further other than a cup of black tea and half a cup of instant with milk.

After my session with the chiropractor I feel human this morning for the first time in over a week. Not going to be doing a lot today other than maybe a walk between showers. However there is some ironing. Perhaps I can get back to socialising now????

Oh those waxing sessions - usually undertaken in places like Nairobi and Bombay where the currency was rubbish... used to have legs, armpits and bikini wax, but I found that after a while they weren't as painful. No need now since I have Alopecia areata... no eyebrows, no hair anywhere really! Good luck with it all @ColinUK !

Congrats on your HS @Barrowman

Great photos as ever @eggyg
Have a great day everyone.

10.3 this morning around 7.30am but only just got around to posting. Busy morning sorting out the cat, chickens and emptying dishwasher. By the time I ate breakfast and showered had to dash out the door to go to keep fit class at 9am.
Gardening the rest of this morning and craft club this afternoon. We are knitting poppies for a display at the cemetery for Remembrance Sunday. Several thousand to do so getting started early.
Lovely views @eggyg
Hope you foot gets better soon @freesia
Well done on the HS @Barrowman
Enjoy the sunshine everyone and have a good day.
