Group 7-day waking average?

Oh Barbara! Very glad to hear you've got over what sounded like a scary migraine.

As to your brother - a broken pelvis sounds both painful and very serious. I do hope he heals quickly. Hugs to you both.

Thank you for your comments. My BP has settled down now and is very good, perhaps just taking my felodopine in the morning instead of at night is much better.

@everydayupsanddowns thanks for updating us on Gwynn... no doubt we'll see him again in the fullness of time when he feels up to it.

I note @MikeyBikey is missing also.

Yes, I was wondering if Admin could contact Mikey when I saw the update on Gwynn. Sending (((hugs))) @Gwynn It is very worrying that he is suddenly missing, especially with all the issues he has to contend with.

@PattiEvans So pleased your BP has settled down again. Long may it stay that way.

@MikeyBikey is showing up on his profile as visiting the forum regularly, he’s just not currently posting. I was also concerned, because it sounded like his foot was giving yet more problems.

I checked his profile and saw that he last posted on Thursday evening and that his foot was more problematic than usual hence my concern, but didn't realise that you can see he is still viewing the site. Hope you feel better soon and able to rejoin us @MikeyBikey. Sending (((HUGS))) to you too.

Hover over @MikeyBikey and you can see. Think he has posted the odd like recently.

5.1 this morning not much to do today chicken dinner later Just going to watch TV, we bought a new TV a couple of weeks ago, and its out of this world, its 77 inch LG OLED, its made such a difference for me with my dodgy eyes not just diabetic related but I have had blurred vision caused by corneal dystrophy for around 10 years mainly in one eye.

I have been using the Noctura sleep Mask now for 6 nights and my overall vision has improved already it also works with OLED light.
great that you have recently had slightly improved your vision @Pam123, like you I decided to give that mask a go and Ive been using the Noctura sleep mask myself for 3 weeks now.

I’m not sure if it has helped /or will, I must admit I’ve left it off a few nights and sometimes it’s flown off, that was before another user (not on here) but on Facebook gave me the micropore tape trip 😉

Ok so I don’t have the same eye condition as you do @Pam123
my situation is after over 10 years of treatment
one eye the swelling has whilst not completely gone away, in that eye the vision has vastly improved
my bad eye that still has a swelling, that eye I now have a Ozurdex implant in that is still concerning the team I’m under at my local DMO clinc

Morning all. 6.2 here.

Thanks @everydayupsanddowns and @PattiEvans . I’ll get there. I just need to learn to work with the system. It’s only been two weeks. I still don’t understand how the algorithm can learn my routine when I don’t really have one, except for overnight. Every day’s different.

Thinking of you @Gwynn and sending (((hugs))).

5.0 this morning.

Had a day at the pool in the hotel. It was a high of 28 today - can’t believe it after the cold, grey days we left at home! Off to the cruise tomorrow which will be a new experience for us.

Super Bowl tonight, so the hotel bar has that on. Weird to see it at a sensible time (6:30pm here) when I remember years ago as a kid staying up into the small hours watching it at home.

Take care everyone!

Morning all. 6.0

The thing at the opera house yesterday was good but not my cup of tea. It was clever, the singist and the dancists were correct all talented and it was clever and all that and it could be developed further I guess but musically it didn’t appeal. Win some, lose some I guess. Still the seats were great and it was cheap!

Morning a 7.7 but spent most of night in 6s and no correction does so only bit if fine tuning needed.
Nice day yesterday apart from a disappointing lunch. We went to the first Garden centre and queue was just so big so we went to somewhere we used to go and not only had the menu changed but after a long wait ( place was not busy) they brought my wife a ham sandwich rather than the ham hock she had ordered. Now while I may let that kind of thing pass my wife who so much looks forward to her choice will just refuse to have it so whilst we got a refund it was disappointing.
So on reflection it was a lovely w/ end but lunch was not literally up to scratch.Such a pity as we do look forward to it and of course places can have off days but bringing the wrong food in the hope they will accept it is not right. If they had said they did not have any of the original choice my wife could have chosen something else but after a long wait we were not happy.
Sorry for rant.
On the bright side we bought 3 dog toys just squeakys and the dogs went mad all afternoon barking and running around so that was good to see.
Meetings this morning and then little trip to St Helens.

For anyone wondering how @Gwynn is getting on, we’ve been in touch to check he is OK.

He is still having a very difficult time with the stress of his wife’s illness, and is also having a flare-up of hip pain for which he has an appointment next week.

He is needing to have a break from the forum for a while, but hopes to be back soon.

We wish you all the best @Gwynn :care:<3:care:
thanks for letting us know hugs and love to him and his wife

Good morning 6.6 on waking today

Yesterday evening after I showered, looks like I must’ve disturbed my Libra as it was found on the floor by my wife, at first I hadn’t realised it had dropped off - until the alert went off on my phone, I obviously reported it to Abbott as a drop off, via their online reporting and applied a new one

@Eternal422 have a lovely holiday, 28degrees sounds just what a few of us would like to be in at the moment 😎 <3 In contrast - wet and cold here in Northampton today, Alexa just informed me we can expect a high today of 4 degrees.

work for me today (I don’t start until 09:00) although I’m up and about early as take Mrs @goodybags to work at 07:00

Happy Monday Everyone
TC
