Group 7-day waking average?

Morning folks! 6.2 from a damp and dreary south west.

Hope your weeks go well.

Successful trip to the outlet place in Swindon yesterday. My wife found what she was looking for, plus a couple of other things. Everything was on me, so that's her birthday presents sorted. Apart from Pizza Express and Wagamama it was all fast food choices, so we settled for KFC for lunch and I had one of their salads. Eating out tonight for her birthday, although that's not actually until Thursday, but between our eldest's futsal training nights and our youngest's shifts we've had to pick a day when everyone can make it.

Have a good start to the week, all. 5.8 for me this morning.

A near miss for me today at 5.1 🙂

Morning all. 5.9.

Have had an upset stomach through the night. Don’t know whether I didn’t take enough Creon or it was gastric dumping or too rich. I had cheese soufflé to start, pretty innocuous I would say, then sea bass in a white wine sauce with new potatoes and broccoli and green beans. No pudding. Two small glasses of wine. I felt really unwell as soon as I finished the last mouthful and had to go back to the room. And this, ladies and gents, is why we rarely go to hotels anymore or eat out very often. Too many variables. Now I don’t know what to have for breakfast and don’t know if we’ll get out for our planned walk. As for tonight’s dinner, well, that’s already playing on my mind. Honestly dealing with my gastric issues is a million times harder than the diabetes. Sorry for moaning but we were so looking forward to this break. The good news is our room is beautiful with amazing views of Windermere.

Have a good folks.

Morning 6.5
A disturbed night, up a couple of times, was stressing badly. I was hoping the run of expensive bills had come to an end but no another dead pump on the pond. That will be another £1500 to find. I think I need to remove the koi and shut down the pond. I can't keep doing this now I'm retired.
Anyone want some fish? 1000 or more available one koi is nearly 5ft!
Have a good day all

Morning All. 6.6 this morning. I realised I didn't actually take any Fiasp on Friday but maybe because I did a good walk first thing my BG was nicely down in the green all day. Did a yummy roast lunch (beef with ALL the trimmings) yesterday followed by apple & blackberry crumble (I always use Aunt Bessie's crumble mix as so easy and tastes really nice) I even had some custard so after our family had all left I went out for a good hour's walk and that did the job. Walking netball today and I'm running the session on my own because the other hosts are all away. I think I'm going to ask the ladies to choose some drills that they like to do rather than spend ages planning the session. @eggyg hope this is just a blip and you have a lovely time on Windermere @everydayupsanddowns thanks for keeping us updated - it's lovely that the admins check on people on here. @Grannylorraine hope all well with your DiL. Have a good day everyone xxx

Morning all. 5.4 and a unicorn day yesterday. Nothing planned for today until later tonight when we go to the cinema to see September 5. I do have some jobs to do around the house but everywhere is so dark and dreary i don't feel like doing anything apart from reading my book or a bit of craft. Its wet and dull outside, 4° feeling like 0° so i'm not going anywhere until i have to.

@eggyg sorry you've had a rough start to your break. I hope you feel well enough to do a walk and can enjoy the rest of your time away.

@Grannylorraine have you heard anything about your DiL? I hope everything is ok.

5.8 for me this morning but 2JBs and a little coffee chocolate required to lift me out of the red and keep me there.

@eggyg So sorry to hear that your digestive system is unhappy and that is impacting your hotel stay. Fingers crossed it get's it's act together and you manage to get out for a walk later. Hotel looks lovely even on a gloomy day.... and the Lakes wouldn't be the Lakes if it wasn't a bit gloomy. 🙄

Morning

4.5 today, baby still tucked up in mummy’s tummy, son messaged me earlier to say they were going to be transferred to the delivery suite this morning. My plans other than waiting for texts and/or phone call, is to crotchet and go to Bakeclub this evening.

@PattiEvans - sorry to her about your dizzy spell, glad you are ok now.

@rebrascora - sorry to hear about your brothers accident and injuries, wishing him a speedy recovery.

@eggyg - sorry to hear about your stomach issues, hope the day improves for you so you can get out for your walk and enjoy the rest of your day.

@Eternal422 - enjoy your holiday

Sending my love to @Gwynn and his wife.

Hoping @MikeyBikey and @TinaD are both doing ok.

Morning all. 7.4 for me on waking, but that's after having taken 2 units of NovoRapid earlier in the morning when my DP alarm went off. I have a cold, too, which does not help matters. Still running a little high (8.6) for my liking, so here's hoping my system calms down by lunchtime. Yesterday started in much that same way and I found it quite unpleasant - really I feel best when my blood sugar is between 5.5 and 7.5.

7.0 - wish it would be slightly lower in the mornings... waiting for my pump's algorithm to kick in as it's been on the higher side of normal for a good week or so now!

One more week of school before half term, woohoo! I have one school trip to run on Wednesday and once that's out the way, most of the more pressing library/literacy events for the year are out the way (with the exception of World Book Day in March of course)

I have a diabetes review today too, thinking my HbAlc should be pretty good (hopefully). And as I am now pregnant I'm sure that will come up in discussion too!

Morning everyone. A 4.9 for me on another wet and windy day.

Have a good day everyone and stay well.

Hopefully you will be referred to a diabetic specialist midwife and be booked for extra monitoring that usually happens when pregnant. Make sure you are getting any extra medication like folic acid etc.

Morning all on this grey and dreary Cornish day.

7.3 again this morning. Not good enough, but can't seem to get the Omnipod 5 to get me lower, even in manual mode, it's aiming for 6.1 - and missing even that!

Not much on today - might do some ironing if the stuff I washed yesterday is dry enough.

Are you on an HCL? If so which one? Perhaps you could put it in your sig. It would make it easier to answer you. Congratulations on your pregnancy!

@Grannylorraine fingers crossed for some good news for you today!

Have a good day all!

9 today which isn't surprising as I was eating biscuits again at midnight.

Just heard that my MiLs support agency has gone bust! So my OH has gone to see her as she couldn't ring her as the phone has developed a fault, but a engineer is supposedly to visit her today about it. When it rains, it pours.
