Group 7-day waking average?

Secretly I love it! There's something about the company and proximity of a dog, they don't have any agenda apart from the wish to be close to you.
Could not resist this birthday card I got a few years back

Hi Martin.I keep on telling my wife that she used all her luck when she won me in the raffle. Her reply was yes all her bad luck as I was the booby prize.
She sounds a bit like my wife. When I said my wrinkles were laughter lines she insisted that nothing could be that funny.

don't know what my BS was on my CGM got a new phone yesterday signed in with new phone worked ok but lost all the data, it stopped again, just signed in again seams to be ok now, didn't expect it to loose all the data from the last 90 days finger prick was 4.9

I HATE that! That happened shortly after I got the libre as well, when it updated to the new system of continuously scanning which I never used anyway because it took too much battery power! Even though I couldn’t see the old data my hospital team could & still had the data so, if you’re kinked up to your healthcare team they may still have the data?

no I don't go to the hospital, GP never asked to see the data, it was just good to keep track

Same, but it's going to happen again as I get an upgrade for my phone fairly soon.
My DSN and my Dr's asking once or twice in the past to see the libre data, they we're surprised to note that my TIR was 89% at the time.

Been waiting for our friend to bob round but no one turned up, disappointed

6.9 earlier, dropping after FOTF to 5.7.

What a couple of days! Yesterday we got the bus into town to meet friends. Got off the bus and J went to the collection point for coffee pod returns, I went in the opposite direction to get a bit of shopping and suddenly was overwhelmed with dizzyness and nearly toppled over in the street. Hung onto a shop front. Eventuallly I got to the Co-op where we'd arranged to meet and he found me, by which time the dizzyness had abated somewhat. We made it to meet our friends in the pub and I felt a bit better, but didn't have anything other than 2 mugs of coffee. We caught the bus home and I felt dizzy again when I got off. Got home and took BP which was 166/110. I rang the GP surgery, but missed the cut off point by 1 minute and got transferred to the out of hours service who eventually told me to ring 999 for an ambulance.

I thought the advice was OTT so we went to the local hospital A&E (or whatever they call it). 3.5 hours and loads of tests later inc a CT scan they said I'd not had a TIA, but my BP was 198/120 by that time. Eventually they sent me home with instructions to take another BP tablet and go to bed! I was absolutely starving by that time! Had had 1 small packet of crisps from a vending machine and BG had shot to 12 something. Got home - had 2 slices of toast and a cup of black tea and went to bed! BP high again this morning so as per instructions I took an additional BP tablet. Thankfully BP now down to normal levels!

We will get the beef pie we should have had last night!

Congratulations to @eggyg for your HS

@Eternal422 enjoy your cruise... I loved Nassau, but not been since 1988.. hope it has not changed too much! Met hubby there 42 years ago!

Hope you have a lovely new granchild by now @Grannylorraine

Wow, the Omnipod 5 doesn’t seem able to cope LOL! My TIR yesterday was 49%. I’m going to note down my BG before and 2 hours after meals AND my pre-bolus timing for a week or so, just to be clear in my mind that I AM pre-blousing by at least 15 minutes (I am!). As things stand, I’m on the same BG roller coaster with HCL (auto mode) as I was on the Dash (manual mode). I love the fact that auto mode is doing the basal side of things, but I’m reeeeally fed up with this BG roller coaster.
Yes, I hated it. However, what insulin are you on? I am on Apidra, which is quicker than Novorapid and I need to bolus more than half an hour before eating. Try bolussing and just watching how long until your BG starts to drop. Then you can eat.

Morning up and about and a 7.2 after must admit a big relapse and a carb fest yesterday.A really good day and friends and family descended and the dogs were great and loved the visitors. We ended up going out for lunch with BiL and he was in a much better mood than usual as he had a pacemaker fitted about 4 months ago and it allows him to have a more normal life which eases the frustrations.
Lunch was not up to its usual standard which was disappointing but overall a very good day and then the rugby was great and for once the narrow divide was in England’s favour. However I had sausage rolls and scones and then Pizza in the evening and then toast etc so Although I did take a lot more insulin than normal including correction it was not enough and I got it wrong so back on my routine today.
Quiet day today and will wait and see what it brings.

Morning all! Happy Sunday.

A 4.8 for me to kick things off today.

Congrats on the HS @eggyg

And sorry to hear about your HCL woes @Bloden

Getting an algorithm that suits your particular diabetes is so hard to guess from the outside, when they all promise the same!

4.2 for me which is on the lower side to what I'm used to. Another night didn't hovering around the twilight zone but no actual hypos.

Not a great deal on today. Weather still a bit poo, got a base run in the training calendar and will get some radio time in at some point.

Libre playing up a bit. Keeps disconnecting but still seems to be giving me enough data to keep the graph going...

Morning all. Snap @Wendal 7.2 for me too after a carb fest.

I’d made a lamb Madras for tea but before that I discovered some Indian party snacks in the freezer that I’d bought for Christmas but forgot about, so we had some of those as a starter, we also had in the freezer restaurant naans leftover from grandson’s 18th birthday takeaway night. They are ridiculously high in carbs and at first I thought I’d taken too much bolus but I was over 12 at bedtime! No correction taken, which was probably a mistake. But hey, we’re off to the Lakes today until Tuesday, hiking and swimming will be the order of the day, plus lovely restaurant food and wine! I’m sure it will all come out in the wash.😉

Have a super Sunday everyone.

740am 4.6 had a bannana given by staff
8am 5.6
happy with that
you all have a good safe day
love to you all

Morning All - 5.1 for me this morning which is the closest I've ever been to an HS. BG on the low side all night and seem to remember taking 2 JBS at some point. We did a big walk yesterday - not in miles, only 3.7 for me as I looped back to the car but up Riggindale Crag near Haweswater so steep. Lovely though and snowy in places. The others carried up to High Street and it was full on snow up there. I had a bit of a tumble on the way down (You've never seen someone get up so fast as I was aware there were two other walkers behind me but just out of sight and didn't want them to see!). Gradually during the afternoon got a bit achy in a few places and feeling it today but I'm sure it will pass. We've got B&SIL staying this weekend. Went out for supper last night and another mutual friend joined us too - tasty food but for some reason I ordered boring old chicken breast so had a bit of food envy of the seabass that two of our group were having. Hubby went on another callout yesterday but was stood down again - it's good news that all these people are managing to be walked away from their problem spots on a phone by the Mountain Rescue but he's desperate to get up the hill! I'm doing roast Wagyu beef from our local farmer for lunch today and apple crumble for pudding - not sure if I'll partake in the crumble but might have a small bit. Mum and brother joining us too. Have a super Sunday all xxx
