Group 7-day waking average?

We did a Royal Caribbean cruise many years ago, Liberty of the Seas, we did the Mediterranean from Barcelona. The size of the ships were unbelievable then, I bet the new ones are even bigger now. We had a great time and met some lovely people. It’ll be amazing.
Liberty of the Seas is 3,600 passengers. Norwegian have this week announced that they’ve ordered four new ships that are “among” the largest at sea. They’re not the largest class afloat and they’re 8,600 passengers a piece. That’s scarily huge to me. The Virgin lady ships are all 2,750 roughly so really quite modest.

Oh and I’m sure that the other passengers met lovely people too if you and Bri were onboard 🙂

Wow! And I thought our ship was huge, 8600 seems a bit OTT in my opinion. I bet you can’t get a sunbed on a sea day!
We shared a table for dinner with an American ( they were from Boston) family, they were celebrating their children’s high school graduation and had never been to Europe, so as typically Americans do, were trying to cram the whole continent in in a week! They didn’t go on the ship organised trips they hired drivers to meet them at each port and drive them around. Obviously had plenty of money. We had a great laugh and spent most evenings together. We kept in touch for a while but you know how it goes, things happen. I often wonder about them, the kids will no doubt have their own families now.

Good morning :D
6.2 on a grey dank morning. I got up at 5.30, let the dog out, and went back to sleep on the sofa with the dog on top of me. I've heard weighted blankets can be very soothing, having 20kg of dog sprawled across my midriff seems to have worked.

6.1 for me a while back. Been sat here with a cuppa catching up on you lovely lot. Had a lie in after a disturbed night with intermittent high alarms. Need to pick up a prescription and at least some eggs while I'm out. Otherwise just housework, knee deep in cat hair as been out all week.
Have a good weekend

Have woken to a 6.0 this morning. Thought I might be higher after tucking into pate & crackers and chocolate-dipped almonds at yesterday evening's Lions quiz at our local Community Centre. 14 teams and we came 5th, our best finish in one of their quiz nights. My wife won a tub of Cadbury's Heroes in the raffle, too.

Not much planned for today other than to watch Italy v Wales in the rugby, probably from behind the sofa. Hope it's not a 14th straight defeat.

Bit dull and grey out there at the moment and more rain in the forecast, so looks like a repeat of yesterday.

Congrats @eggyg on your HS

Have a good start to the weekend. Hope the weather doesn't spoil anyone's plans.

Well done @eggyg on that HS. :star:
A 6.1 for me today.

6.8 this morning.

Didn't get to sleep for ages. Badly overdid the insulin at tea and my BG kept falling. Never went hypo but needed a chocolate bar and two energy jellies and didnt want to go to sleep until it had stabilised so was after midnight I finally drifted off.

The boy had a tough day at school yesterday but the story measures agreed all seemed to kick in as they should which meant they managed to keep him in school for as long as they could but not have him angry and in classes. They eventually let him go a bit early and then he was full on hyper at home!

We wouldn't have him any other way though. He's certainly huge fun most of the time and life would be boring if it were predictable

Not much on today. Still need to tackle the garden but weather doesn't look great, got a long run in the training calendar and today or tomorrow I want to get out into the hills with my radios - even if it's just a local spot.

Vy 73 all es GL fer the day de M0SDB

morning 5.8 when I first woke this morning at just before 06:00 as I would on a weekday
then dozed and woke again to 6.9

theres a few pages of posts I’ve not caught up with over last few days, so over a cuppa will look through them shortly, it’s been a busy and slightly stressful /anxious week at work for me (work related both for Me & Mrs @goodybags)
this weekend need to have a clear up both in bungalow, & garden - In fact really needs a few hours in the garage if we can get time, not sure how much of it we will do, but have the best intentions

Morning all. 8.7 but at leasted stayed below 10 all night.

Nothing planned for today apart from some dusting and cleaning the bathroom.

@Eternal422 have a great holiday. Enjoy the sunshine.

@eggyg congrats on both HSs.

@Grannylorraine i hope you hear from DiL.

Have a good day everyone.

Morning everyone. It’s a 3.9 for me today and I’ve just finished a jb as breakfast is a while away yet. It’s been raining most of the night and it’s still raining now.

Have a good day folks and stay well.

Sounds lovely Lisa.
Over the years have had the pleasure of lots of furry hot sleeping blankets ranging from a7.5kg Affenpinzer to a 45 kg Ridgeback

5.9 for me this morning. Went to bed on 7.8 with a 1u Fiasp correction and +2 Levemir. Had horrendous nightmares and rather wish I had had Libre on to see how they impacted my levels, as twice I woke up with my heart pounding like a steam train and that surely has to kick your liver into action. Going to start a new sensor today I think or perhaps tonight. Interesting to have a break every now and then and simplify my diabetes management but makes me appreciate it all the more when I go back to it.

@Eternal422 Hope you have a fab holiday!

@eggyg Wow! A second HS! Well done!

@Grannylorraine Fingers crossed all goes smoothly if your DIL is started today.

Secretly I love it! There's something about the company and proximity of a dog, they don't have any agenda apart from the wish to be close to you.
