Group 7-day waking average?

Good morning - 4.5

Have a great day everyone.

Morning 7.2 for me
Had a lovely chat with my friend yesterday but spent the rest of the day coughing from all the talking. He gave me a present too as he saw it thought I would like it. I can see why.
View attachment 33812but how on earth can I eat kittens?! Especially as they look like mine and one has the same name 😱

Have a great day you lovely people x
Close your eyes and bite their heads off first then you can’t see their cute faces when you eat the rest! 😛

4.5 today for me.

Daughter and family are visiting us for a change today which saves us the drive over to them. Mind you, after staying in all day yesterday I’m starting to get itchy feet!

@eggyg - happy birthday to Eden - don’t tell her that she will have doubled in age by her next birthday

Congratulations to our HS trio today : @ColinUK , @Sharron1 and @goodybags !

As my dad would say, they haven´t set the streets up at this hour
My parents used to say that the streets haven’t been aired yet.

Have a good day everyone!

Congratulations @ColinUK @goodybags and @Sharron1 on your HSs. Almost joined you with a 5.3 this morning. Unlike yesterday no lie-in as our youngest is back at work, starting at 8am, and I had to take him. He doesn't feel ready to get back behind the wheel yet. The advice from the fracture clinic was not to do so until he feels he's completely recovered.

Yesterday I managed to secure 2 fence posts that the storms had loosened but were still holding the fence panels in place, and to get one of the 3 broken panels back in position after some repair work. Back on it today once it's warmed up a bit.

@eggyg - I have a regular book cull, too. I use 2 tests - will I read it again, is it useful for reference? Those that pass can stay.

Happy Anniversary @Quill - hope you have a really nice day together.

On me tod for a while today as my wife's up in Bedford visiting family, our eldest is at his girlfriend's in London and our youngest is at work. Everyone should be home come teatime.

Whatever your plans, enjoy your Sunday.

Morning All. 6.9 for me this morning and very excitedly I've lost 3lbs this week. I've started doing an on-line nutrition thingy with some lovely guys from Leeds. I did it with them 4 years ago when I lost 3 stone and as a stone had crept back on over that time I thought I'd remind myself by hooking up with them again. I actually drove to Harrogate yesterday (2 hours each way) to meet them in the flesh because they were giving a talk. Not sure the 1.5 hour talk was really worth the long journey but I had a lovely drive out and it was nice to meet them. @Gwynn sending lots of love and as everyone else has said please use us all as a sounding block, or a shoulder to cry on - we're here for you. I hope maybe you go to Church today but maybe that's hard for you at the moment and if you're not doing the music maybe not as relaxing as it might be. Talking about music I listened to gorgeous classical music all the way back on my drive yesterday - I kept asking Siri out loud to play things like "Vivaldi Four Seasons" and "Beethoven's 5th Symphony" etc and it worked. @eggyg I can't believe it's a year since Eden was born - hope you have a lovely party (if that's possible in a large soft play - whenever I think about those places I can still smell the nappy changing area from when mine were little 😱). I'm doing roast lamb today but I can't decide whether to slow roast it or do it so it's pink - I just went upstairs to ask hubby what he thought (as he bought it yesterday on my instruction) and he said pink which was not the answer I was looking for so I told him off for answering wrong. I've got it all ready to go so if any of you have any tips then please let me know (in the next ½ an hour!). From yesterday my hubby is officially allowed to go out on shouts with the Mountain Rescue team that he has been training with for the last six months. He's still a probationer for another year but he is clearly very excited. His kit is waiting in the hall "just in case" and I'm timing our meal based on the fact that callouts would be more likely to come in in the afternoon and then tie up the evening. Yesterday he was clearly a bit disappointed (in a not really disappointed way as that would be weird) that there hadn't been a callout so I did offer to go up Helvellyn and get lost. Have a good day everyone xxx

Morning everyone. The sun is shining on another beautiful frosty day here in Bedfordshire.

Finger-prick earlier was a happy 4.8 and it will be a happy bike ride after I’ve had my porridge this morning.

Have a very happy Sunday folks and stay safe.

Congratulations @goodybags on your HS.

I was a little way off earlier with 7.1 after a night in the 7s... nice flat line though.

OHs gone out this morning to some sort of prayer meeting some way off (she couldn't tell me whereabouts as she didn't know) which is a worry.

Got one of my old "drinking" buddy coming abouts later. No he doesn't partake anymore, neither smoking either - he gave them both up for mortality reasons, like me. It would be nice to have a catch-up with him (it's been decades!). We had the same choice in music.

Morning all. 4.8. Younger daughter drove up from Devon yesterday for a visit which is lovely. She has to go back today though for work next week. I hate saying goodbye.

Congrats to the trio of HSers @ColinUK @Sharron1 and @goodybags.

Happy Anniversary @Quill, have a lovely day.

@eggyg happy birthday to Eden. Have a nice time at the party.

Have a restful Sunday everyone.

 you’re not selling it Jo! There will be a few babies there as Abby and three of her closest friends had babies within six months of each other. And of course her little cousin Rocco and another cousin ( slightly older) from SILs family. Is it too late to cancel? 😛

Good morning on this grey and damp day.

A disappointing 9 first thing. Flat line from last night's home made chicken curry. Those supermarket samosas/onion bahjis that we had with it were a mistake! Not only that they tasted horrible too! I should have done what I intended and made Dahl instead of being lazy and looking for a cop-out.

Nothing much on today, change bed-linen, do ironing whilst binge watching TV.

Congrats to today's HSers @ColinUK @Sharron1 and @goodybags.

Happy Anniversary @Quill, hope you are doing something nice to celebrate.

@eggyg happy birthday to Eden. Have a nice time at the party.

Have a nice day everyone else.

How's the running(/walking) going? Can't remember-have you entered the half marathon yet and if so when is it?
Going quite well, although a bit more walking this morning due to the frosty pavements, and me doing a good impression of Bambi on ice. I am doing the London Landmarks Half Marathon in April. Here are the photos of me doing it before with a friend who I met on this forum.

stressful day for me yesterday so glad to see 5.2 on waking today

will need to go grocery shopping this morning, then take back some clothes, plus usual Sunday household chores
but first job a interior valet of my car, because yesterday It developed a I haven’t been valeted for ages strange odour
Congratulations on your HS.

Budge up @zippyjojo as I am joining you on the 6.9 step. :D

I went to bed on 10.1 with a little correction insulin still active. I did 5 trips up the hill to GGs with feed on my back yesterday, so no evening Levemir and I expected levels to drop as soon as I went to sleep but it was hard to resist another correction when levels were in double figures at bedtime, even if only just. I really hate that. Anyway, it was the right decision to resist temptation as I woke up to a low alarm of 4.4 at some point during the night but I didn't take any action and DP brought me back up although I did just skim the red according to my graph and levels are still trending upwards this morning despite extra insulin, so clearly my body is still fighting this cold. Getting sick of coughing and spluttering and starting to wonder if my Covid test gave me a false negative.

Congrats and best wishes to @Quill and Mr Quill on your Anniversary.

@eggyg At least you don't have the cleaning up to do for the party. Hope everyone has a great time!

Good afternoon! 8'1.

This weekend has been mixed emotions, so far. I went to Plymouth where I tried a nice restaurant I'd heard good things about, and saw a friend I don't see too often. The next day a mate (not so close) invited me to go for drinks during the day for one of his friends birthday. I'd met them before as we had another mate in common, but I warned this guy I don't normally hang out with this group. He said it doesn't matter. I went and it wasn't bad, but I did feel this is not my people and I'd rather spend my time with a group I'm more comfortable with.

I also had an answer from the room I was hoping to get. It is mine, provided I pass the standard checks 🙂 We agreed on a moving date of 1st of March. At first it felt a bit late because I had all in motion in my mind to move in two weeks! But I already pay rent on the 1st so it makes sense for me to keep doing so, and I won't have two payments in one month. Also gives me more time to get ready. The room is technically unfurnished but the flatmate has already offered me some pieces so I'd basically have to buy just the bed.

Today I have a special plan that I hope will take my mind out of all this for a while. I just arrived with two friends to the Eden Project in Cornwall! That's been in my list for a while but is not easy without a car, so I was very happy when they suggested it <3

5 for me this morning I don't know weather to be angry or happy with what my hubby as confessed to me this morning
he injects my insulin for me and always has done, and unknowing to me he has over the last 6 months reduced my Lantus from 32 units to 20 per day he hasn't changed it for about a month and most of the time its really stable, I am shocked to be honest I still think he should have told me

congrats to all you HS people have a lovely Sunday everyone

Hi Pam.You usually seem to do an excellent job of controlling your BG levels.
However I think it is irresponsible of your other half charging your insulin dosage without informing you. By all means he should have discussed reducing your dosage and measuring the results and progress from there.
But as I said changing or altering any medication can be dangerousand am sure he only had the best of intentions but I would be very annoyed if it happened to me.
Presumably you have asked him why?
