Mine was 8.2, a bit high but I did rather over indulge in comfort eating yesterday after my last day at work. I slept solidly for almost eight hours though, which is very unusual!

Morning all, 8.4 here, I definitely didn’t need that second Bourbon biscuit before bed last night.
Yesterday promised so much, with a sunny forecast and a bright start, but we went out, and as we descended the hill we ran into mist, and by the time we got home it had enveloped our village in gloom.

Morning All 6.9 this morning. Very excitedly I'm 97% TIR and green bar charts over 90 days for my average glucose so very pleased that I'm obviously managing my insulin/food well. Quiet day here today and keen to get in the garden but I think it may be a bit frosty but hopefully will warm up later. Have a good day everyone whatever you're doing xxx
 
Morning all. 8.1 here.

Day 3 with my new buddy Omnipod 5. Some anxious moments in class yesterday - no downward arrows, but BG was circling the drain and lower than I’m used to towards the end of my classes. I may have been teaching gibberish, not Spanish, at one point but my students were very patient! We’ve been told to treat lows conservatively, so I was very controlled with the orange juice.
One massive positive: no BG roller coaster for two days now. I feel almost sane again!

7.1 for me after a disturbed night coughing and sore chest, instead of usual low at 2am it was high.
Beautiful bright but frosty start to the day, wish I felt well enough to enjoy it. Suspect I may be enjoying kitty cuddles on the sofa again today. At least I'm getting through my reading.

A 5.5 for me, and a crisp and clear start to the day.
 
5.3 for me on a bright and sunny Berkshire morning. Cold, though - our garden thermometer says it's barely above freezing at the moment.

Managed to get the downed fence panels, gravel boards and fence posts separated yesterday and have everything propped up against our summer house. Posts are rotted at the base so might need to replace them, and a half-panel needs a repair. Bagged up a fair chunk of the honeysuckle but there's still masses of it so plan to get more done today, either side of my regular Thursday swim.

08:31 BS 10.3 Oh dear! 😳And my overnight graph looks hilly! I obviously underbolused for a spaghetti Bolognese ready meal before last night! But, I’m still dropping very slowly as 08:52 BS 10.2 & just now 08:56 BS 10.1. I still feel a little full & don’t want to eat yet! BS may well start to rise again at some stage, though now I’m awake? See what it gets to & add a correction then but, try not to let it get too high! :confused:🙄

Was watching Amanda & Alan’s Spanish Job yesterday on iPlayer & will watch the second series of their Italian Job as I didn’t realise they’d done a second one until I heard them say the Spanish one was their third! 😛
 
Afternoon! 6.4.

I’ve had a lie in until 8.15, straight into the shower as it’s another busy day. Breakfasted as well. I’m doing the swimming run this morning at 10.30. Look after youngest one whilst eldest swims, then bring eldest home and youngest swims and mummy brings her back to ours for lunch. Then daughter is going to organise her new mortgage, they had one in place just need to activate it now they’ve bought a new house, so we’ll look after the girls. Vicar coming at 3 along with the family to discuss service/eulogy for MILs funeral, hoping daughter back by then to pick up the kids. Could be a noisy meeting! Hoping none of this will take too long and I can be left in peace!

5.9 today, a bit higher than the last few days as I treated a low of 3.9 at bedtime and left BG around mid 8s. I also reduced by basal by 2U as the past few days I have been skating along mid to high 3s.

Off once more to my parents for exchange of the damaged freezer. Let’s hope this one is ok and we can sort things out for them, although I suspect we will have to go yet again as the freezer needs 4 hours to settle before switching on and neither of us can cope with 4 hours there with their constant sniping at each other we had the other day!

I know how you feel! Some days the roller coaster is very tiring! I have read somewhere that reducing variability in BG was beneficial to health and reduced risk of complications, etc. will have to read up some more but it may just mean increasing time in range.

11.7 dropping to 10.7 by the time I had some brekkas.

LCC refuse failed to collect our bin yesterday; been on the phone bang on 9am to them to arrange collection, within 3 working days. They confirmed on my mobile and email (making sure it doesn't slip from my memory).

Yesterday I was too busy to check the bin as I had a Podiatry appointment (went well), then a trip to my MIL, then to the Borough for a fish & icecream dinner.
BG remaining at 11/12 all night!

Moin zusammen, as we say in the north of Germany as my keyboard defaulted to Deutsch.

9.3 for me. Not sure if that was the pizza or the old sensor telling find as it was 5.1 on the new one when it fired up.

Bright sunny and cold here. Might venture out into the garden, need to get the bin in anyway. Have a good day everyone.

Morning all. I can't remember what the waking reading was, possibly high 4s. Its been a bit of a morning as BIL died early hours. He had dementia. Its so sad.

Also, i've had to ring the tax office, was on hold for 45mins. I've had the payslip for my first private pension payment and they've taxed me! I barely earned enough to pay tax when i was working! My private work pension is paying me so little a month anyway and now its even less. The tax office have said they will change my tax code and i will get it back next month. We'll see.
