Morning. 4.7. New sensor so I thought it was playing silly beggars but it’s true. My meter matched my Libre exactly.
Only surfaced, I did the night “shift” with Mr Eggy. 10pm-3am. MIL still hanging on. It was an awful experience that I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy. She was very, very agitated, I know that’s often a sign they’re on their way out. Barring 10 minutes, 12.30-12.40, she flung herself about, trying to sit up, all with her eyes closed, tapping all the time, wringing her hands, throwing her bedcovers off and trying to take her top off. She’s fighting it all the way, I just wish she’d fought like that years ago instead of having terminal hypchondria her whole life. It’s as if she’s thought, heck this is real. It was very distressing, Mr Eggy said it’s the worst she’s been. At 2.50 they gave her an injection to calm her down, it worked straight away, his brother arrived just minutes later and we left. Bed at 3.30, I’d been up since 5.30 and hadn’t napped, Mr E had had a couple of naps through the day. He’s back at 1pm, I’m hoping he won’t need to. I don’t know how they are coping day in and day out, I won’t be going back.
We should have had child care duties today but other grandparents having taken over, they would have been a nice distraction but we just couldn’t have done it today.
