Group 7-day waking average?

Good Evening Forum Friends, BS was down to 5.5 (on waking today)
I say down as yesterday, was quite high after breakfast/ all afternoon & especially overnight 🙄

think Ive previously posted before my GP believes following a decent Hba1c a few months back
I will no longer need insulin, and keeps talking about a 6 month plan to change my Meds:confused:
yesterday I only reduced from my dose down by 2 units (same morning & evening)
today I resumed the dose of 8 this morning and will be the same this evening

I was up at my usual time, but definitely late on parade
Just been a mega busy day
lots going on at work at the moment but turned out to be a GOOD day @work for @goodybags

Plus levels have been consistently in range all day (which was a massive relief)
TC 😎

Morning all. 5.3 for me. Early start today - dropping a friend off at the hospital for elective surgery on her shoulder. Hoping all goes well - any kind of surgery makes me nervous.

5.9

Chiming in on the Nosferatu chat, saw it a couple of weeks ago with a friend. Cinema was sold out pretty much and the audience was so quiet throughout you could hear a pin drop.
Loved the colour grading and the Hammer Horror-ness of it all.
I didn’t know that Bram Stoker sued over copyright infringement saying that the entire story was a copy of his but it clearly is/was.
Both of us said that it wasn’t what we’d been expecting going in but both enjoyed it.

Heard from the Olivier team yesterday. I’m in.

Morning Colin a Star as you are in the Team or is it on the Team.
A 7.2 for me but within range all night.
Dropped a bit low early evening as I changed my mind about the mash and had a tea consisting of fried breakfast items so more fats than carbs but kept same insulin level so went a bit low.It then took a little to move it and as I was picking my son up from work I then had some biscuits/ Dextrose etc and by time I left it was 7 and rising.
A morning of Meetings and then little drive out with wife this afternoon and then Pizza night.
Have a good day and an even better w/ end

Good morning all. 6.3 after quite a disturbed night. Something weird going on. I first woke at 3.05am, then 5.05 then finally 7.05! I kid you not. Very strange. Anyhoo I really should have got up earlier as from 5.05 until 5.45 I tossed and turned, I couldn’t sleep as my nose is bunged up and I was absolutely sweating, but stupidly I decided to try one more time and propped myself up on three pillows, now my left hip is throbbing and I’ve a thumping headache! Grrrr!!!! Never mind I’m going to treat myself to a bacon butty for breakfast. 🙂

Busy and chaotic day yesterday as usual when we have the kids and their mother round for lunch. Today I’m doing nowt! Except make a fish pie for tea and nip to Tesco. Apart from that I’m just going to read my book and have a nana nap.

Have a fab Friday.

6.8 and then the FTTF has kicked in and it's been rising rapidly.

But, given my appt with the consultant yesterday - if she thinks I can put things into remission then that's what I'm going to focus on from today. Don't need to change much really, I've already massively altered my diet since diagnosis, I don't drink or smoke anyway, I'm already active so let's see if I can prove her right.

The child gets back from Italy tomorrow too. We've missed him! He's done brilliantly as well. He's so far out of his comfort zone doing something like this and he's cracked it. Can't wait to see him!!

Morning all, 6.2 here.
Went out in the fog yesterday, drove over the Oxfordshire/Warwickshire border and as we got to the top of Edge Hill (as in Civil War Battle) the Warwickshire plain was spread in front of us, bathed in sunshine with blue skies. Now last time we went that way, before Christmas, it was the reverse, bright and sunny til we looked down on the bank of fog stretching across the valley with just a few little hill tops sticking out. There must be a Great Weather Divide along the ridge.

Fantastic photos, @dannybgoode , glad it was sunny for your son, it makes such a difference on a ski trip.

06:43 BS 8.3 A bit outside target range after 3rd lot of reduced 68 Tresiba went in at midday yesterday. Give it a few days to see if it settles down a bit & how NR for meals goes as I’m a bit higher after eating as well? May put it back up a bit to 70 if needs be?

A Very Good Morning to you all & have a Wonderful Day! 😉

I'm jealous to be honest! He's done amazingly well and the teacher leading his group has done brilliantly to get he best out of him.

He can just not like something and then it's very difficult to get him to change his mind and the week started off badly but he's now on the more difficult runs and loving it.

Morning good peeps. 11.6 here. When I got up at 5.30 for a pee, I was 16.1 on the Libre! It shot up at 3am, apparently. I’m interested to see how the HCL will cope with the randomness of my diabetes!

Lesson planning, cleaning, etc today. I’ll be spending the weekend with my mum - she’s not allowed to drive for 6 weeks after her hip displacement, so I’m her chauffeur for the weekend. She sees what happened as a blip in her routine LOL and wants to get back to normal asap, fair play. So she’ll be wanting a coffee at the nice beach café down the road (weather permitting) and tea with her friend Wendy on Saturday afternoon. I admire her resilience!

Wow, wowee, wowzers @ColinUK! Fab news!!

Great news @ColinUK on getting selected. :star:
A 5.8 for me this morning. 🙂

Morning all. 5.4. The nurse at the surgery for the second part of the review was lovely. We had a really good chat and said she was amazed at the HbA1c result. This week has been a busy one. Today i need to scan forms onto the laptop and send them off with an email, change the bed, do the washing and get the house cleaned through. Thats the plan anyway. Like a few things this week, best laid pland have had to be changed last minute.

@ColinUK congratulations! When does it all start from?

@eggyg enjoy your restful day

@dannybgoode lovely photos.

Many congratulations 🙂

It was his widow that sued as she felt his work had be essentially plagiarised.

As an aside one of friends has just had twins and has called the boy Abraham 'Bram' Stoker.

The boy's great great great uncle though on the mum's side is indeed Bram Stoker. I think that's very cool indeed :D

Good moaning After a second decent night's sleep disappointed to wake to a 10.3 (more TOR)! Only woke once (I think my body clock is confused by all these disturbed nights). Was having a weird dream about trying to sort out a circuit board with the other person being a hindrance. I think it harks back to my student days when for some lab work I was often paired with the same guy. Although quite cheerful and friendly he did not take things that seriously, and instead of using logic was "let's see what happens if we connect these two components together" mindset. He disappeared mid-way through thee course and never appeared on FriendsReunited (why did the new owners screw it up so much) or LinkedIn.

Will try to finish my SA today. Had issues again with being logged out, screen going blank, etc. so when my laptop came up with the login on a black background, and not a favourite car, this morning I ran all virus scans I have available but all appears good.

Very, very grey!

was a respectable 5.5 on waking today

Have a Fantastic Friday Folks 😎
