Group 7-day waking average?

Morning everyone. Another grey and misty day here again today. BG is another 4.2 for me.

Have a good day everyone and stay well.

Morning all. 5.4 for me.

Today i have to go to the dentist for a check up this morning and then see the Nurse at the surgery for the rest of my annual review this afternoon. Its cold and misty here, a pity after yesterdays sunshine and blue skies.

4.5 this morning - yay! That was after our Indian meal last night with our friends! It took 8U before the meal and a further correction of 6U at bedtime, so I guess not too bad.

Planning a walk down to the local river lock later today, even if the fog persists as we want to get out for a breath of fresh air. Then I’ll crack on with my next lesson in my course which will be released later this morning.

Take care everyone!

Good morning! A late posting today as overslept after waking at 3:45 for no good reason and not hearing both alarms. Then a rush as Physiotherapy today and now in wait zone. BG was 8.3 but now 10.7 as could not wait long enough between insulin and breakfast!

As said Physiotherapy today. Wonder if Patient Transport will get me there? Wish I had the money for a personal physio (a few years ago I emailed a billionaire outlining my case as they love promoting themselves as green, charitable, etc.) but never even got a polite saying something like "I cannot help everybody but wish you well for the future".

Foggy, cold and damp! :(

5.6 for me so very happy with that although there was still a spell of red on my graph. I thought the low (alarm set at 4.5) would correct itself after the recent very significant DP I have been experiencing but it didn't and needed a JB.

7 for me today. I had a low BG reading on my Libre at 0215, but a couple of JBs and a ginger biscuit later, I was fine and carried on sleeping

I awakened to brilliant blue-sky and sunshine which remains the case atm.

I'll be off playing pool in an hour or so at the Owl's Nest, with Kev and Kris. The venue had to be changed due to later opening times at the last one.

Morning all and a glorious West Cornwall one it is!

7.0 this morning, down from 22.6. I changed my pod yesterday lunchtime and then went out for a pub lunch. After lunch (scampi and chips) it just went up and up. I felt OK and it was evening sbout 8pm before I checked again and was horrified to see 22.6. Changed the pod and it seemed the cannula was laying flat rather than at right angles, though the backing wasn't wet as I'd have expected. Nonetheless I changed the pod again and it has gradually come down. Hmph... I foresee another minimum 45 minute phone call with Insulet. No time for it right now as I need to eat my lunch (tuna sandwich) before catching a bus into town as we are going to the cinema to see Nosferatu. Let's hope the pod behaves itself.

Have a good day all!

In the words of that famous phrase from "One Foot in the Grave" - "I don't believe it!". I got to physio in reasonable time today to find it had been cancelled so the crew had to bring me back. However, they first had another patient to pick up and we set off on a "Magical Mystery Tour" only to find the patient was not ready. En route we passed some places (puns/restaurants/etc.) I had not visited for decades. That means I will have had one physio session in four weeks! I will post about my appointment nightmares separately - being a diabetic with complications is harder than going to work! :(

Good afternoon everyone! 7'9.

Yesterday I had a lovely day, starting with books club. My ex-colleague wife joined us as she wanted to try it, and when it finished we decided to go for a walk to enjoy the sun, that was present in my corner of Devon as well. We ended up walking all the way to the next town, almost an hour away, where she lives! I'd normally take the bus back, but since the weather was good and it was lunch time, I had some food and walked back to help the insulin. In the evening I went back to the cafe to play some card games with my ex-colleague, his wife (the one I'd spent the morning with) and another friend. There was talk about going to see a musical in London sometime. I am always up for such plans, work permitting! 😉

Today I'm waiting to meet the friend I was supposed to see on Monday, and in the evening I am going to see another house.

Hope you enjoy Nosferatu @PattiEvans
Adore the original and I’ve heard good things about the remake so far - might be a little bit in love with Bill Skarsgård also.

It's my hubby who is mad for anything vampire related, knows all the history etc. It was being shown in the largest screen in our local cinema. There were a grand total of 7 people (including us) in the place and it was blooming freezing. The sound track was booming and wth no real audience to absorb the sound it was quite uncomfortable and hard to follow. I was rather unconvinced that I was enjoying it and had it not been that I had dropped a glove (leather and an Xmas pressie) and I couldn't find it, I may have walked out. Glad I stayed though as I became more absorbed and at least the cinema warmed up.

I'm going to see it on Saturday 🙂

I love the original too (and I'm seeing the current version on Saturday). I didn't see the point of the Klaus Kinski version, given it's so similar to the original. Actually I think the film 'Vampyr' is even better than Nosferatu.

Be interested what you think of it Cliff
