Group 7-day waking average?

Good morning. 7.4 - shouldn't have had sweet corn and poached eggs for supper but felt childish (for that read stupid).

Nasty grey, damp morning. SAD light running to replace the absent sun. @ColinUK is looking good - obviously in the right place.

Storage now sorted - an enterprising old neighbour's son, normally my scrap dealer, has started up a unit 4 miles away. My ignorance shows I have been unplugged from the grapevine for a month or two. Mind on other matters I suppose. Meanwhile have had to ginger up solicitor, no surprise there. I don't mind spending a few weeks with family/friends etc but do think condemning buyers to spend January on a narrow boat is cruelty...

Have a peaceful day everyone.

Especially if the canal freezes over as the pop up news on my phone predicts an artic blast and -20C! Fortunately they are usually wrong!

5.6 for me You all have a good day

Any way it got me going and now I am thinking of breaking open a chocolate coin 😛 :D trouble is one is never enough! ....
Happiness is just the thought ....

Hello everyone and happy start of December! I had a 9'5 earlier.

Last night the hotel held a big gala dinner, 170 guests, and the lot of them came for breakfast this morning, so it's been really busy! Luckily this evening I don't have to come back for work...I will come for our staff party instead. We usually have it after the festive season, in the middle of January, but they realised people tend to be low on Christmas spirit (and money) by then, so this year we are having it early.

I also opened my advent calendar. Mine is from Yogi Tea, I've been buying tea calendars for a couple of years and I enjoy it. I get variety and surprises in the flavours, and it doesn't have sugar. I know I'll be tempted by other sweet treats in the season 😉

forgot to post yesterday I was 3.9 another day shopping for bits and bobs for Christmas, lazy day today 4.7 this morning, hubby actually not doing any home improvements yet, he putting a new navigation screen in the car, early Christmas present, there still the loft to finish he's got to make a frame to put the floor boards back, daughter and her boyfriend will help with that, next doors new roof is complete, update on our cat its not looking good she has finished her 3 week course and nothing has changed she seems happy enough but started eating less over the last few days, she due another visit at the vets next week and I am dreading going as I fear they will suggest putting her to sleep

Same as me! I don’t buy chocolate now as I have no chocolate “off” switch! Saw a meme on Facebook the other day that said according to my chocolate advent calendar there are only 5 days until Christmas.

Thank you for your kind words Gail, the vet thinks its cancer she has a lump which we thought was mastitis but its hardly changed with the antibiotics, but where there life there is still hope she isn't in any pain the vet has given her pain killers just in case x

Beginning of December and not only have I fallen off the bandwagon, I've fallen over the cliff!!!!!!!!
Porridge with the last dead dried cranberries which needed eaten up, digestives x 3 with cheese and chutney for lunch, chunk of marzipan as a mid afternoon snack, DH poured me a G & T, fever tree tonic, which needed used, mid afternoon decided to have a second weak gin, homemade lentil and bacon soup with red berries, seeds and the last of the double cream for pud..........feeling perfectly fine.......... tomorrow is another day.

Hi all! I don’t have a number as I haven’t done a morning finger prick today (back on old school now the CGM trials are over) but I've not been around for over a week - illness, work, work-after-illness catch up! And I've missed reading through everyone's news and plans for their days so I thought I'd stick my head back in anyway and say hello!

5.1 for me at 436am
