A 5.1 for me when the alarm went off. 5.4 after the 9 min ‘snooze’ when I hauled myself out from under the duvet. So somewhere in between I missed a fleeting HS.

4.4 this morning, no plans for today. I might try knitting to see if the new meds have made any difference.

Morning All - 6.5 which I'm pleased with. New Novpen arrived yesterday but annoyingly they've sent it with a vial of insulin instead of cartridges. Luckily I've still got a few of the disposable pens. My Grandpuppy has come to stay with my son & daughter-in-law for the weekend. Other two dogs are being very good with him although the Scottie is making it clear she likes her own space I've got another guest coming to stay in our little cottage here today, for 3 nights this time so I'm busy being Mrs Mop. Then a full on birthday weekend for my brother - we're going to the theatre in Penrith to see a Simon & Garfunkel tribute type show tomorrow with my daughter so should be fun, then roast lamb and all the trimmings on Sunday. Have a lovely weekend everyone xxx

Forgive the second morning post but I have to share! I ordered new jeans and they arrived. Wasn’t sure of my size anymore but delighted that I’m down from a 38” waist to a far from snug 34”

Means I’ll have to take trousers to a tailor for alternations!

6.2 this morning after another night of an alarm at 3.9, once the extra carbs took effect they held me around 6 for the rest of the night.

My mind is still churning about my upcoming c-peptide test and whether the consultant will consider I am T1 or not. I really wish I had left well alone as my DSN was more than happy to treat me as T1 and had even written to my GP to say that I was.

And! And! I just popped on my favourite ever T-shirt and it almost fits again!
It’s just a plain black tshirt. Looks like nothing special. Except it’s Armani and I bought it when I was 21. It still looks as good as new and it’s 36 years old!
