Group 7-day waking average?

Was a 7.1 for me this morning.Thought id been in a coma for a month.Went food shopping yesterday and the centre had a massive Xmas tree up in the square.Decorations all over the place. Its only November the first.Be Easter eggs in the shops next week Congratulations to all of you lot on a hs Have a good day today folks

Evening all. I can't remember what it was this morning. I went to bed on a decent level and stayed so for most of the night, until about 4am when i suddenly had a massive spike which took ages to come down. Since i've finished work i've struggled with levels. I think i need to do a basal test, might try next week.

Currently on our way home from a few days away but motorway is closed and we're on a diversion. Who knows what time we'll get home!

Congrats to all today's HSers.

Dodgy sensor (always is with 2 days to go) was waking me up with alarms saying I was 2.9 so switched my phone off (I'm not advocating this but I know my own body so was OK with it) - woke up and finger-pricked and I was 5.7 - when I switched my phone back on (shortly after) it said I was 3.9 - a good reminder to finger-prick if the reading doesn't seem right

First up today! Morning all. 4.1 and dropping. Had a little juice and waiting for it to rise before having breakfast.

I'm seeing a friend today and we're off to the big craft fair. Looking forward to that and hoping i'll find some nice things to do.

Have a good day whatever you do.

Good morning. A low, for me, 4.8. I even knocked half a unit off my evening Levemir as I’ve been running low for a few days, knocked a half off this morning too.

A very dry day, the last few days have been very damp first thing, makes a nice change. Off to pick up my new fitted sheets at Dunelm and planning to nip into town as there’s a food fair on in the cathedral grounds, all Cumbrian produce. Might pick some Christmas gifts up. Sunday roast to prep and cook. All in all a pleasant day.

Congratulations to all the HSers yesterday, must have been something in the water!

Have a good ‘un!

Morning all. 6.0

Morning all. 9.5 here. Another tweak needed!

Wow, last night’s slice of music festival was FAB! If you ever get the chance to see Nadine Shah live, take some ear plugs cos she’s LOUD. I’m definitely going again next year!

Enjoy your fayres @eggyg and @freesia.

Morning

5.2 for me again, still having the light headed/dizzy spells, had a couple in Tesco, went to knit and natter knitted one row of a baby cardigan and felt awful, so just nattered for the rest of the time. Tried to read when I got home, no dizzy after a couple of pages. Only time I didn’t feel dizzy was taking mum for her flu jab, hubby came as well so he could assist, thankfully the pharmacy is less than 5 mins walk from the apartments mum lives in.

Congrats to all the HS yesterday and @Grannylorraine today. Hope the light headedness settles.

5.7 for me today. Usual Sunday for me: church, lunch, catch up with my parents, ironing. Hope everyone else has a wonderful day.

5.3 this morning on what looks like being a cool but dry day. Left the car on the drive and walked into town yesterday, only to find that some shops - WHS was one - were shut as they had no power. Fortunately the place we'd chosen for lunch was unaffected. They had my favourite salad on the menu - Chicken Caesar - so that was me sorted. Went over to CostCo in Reading in the afternoon and I've never seen it so busy. Stocked up on staples like toilet rolls, tea bags, Weetabix etc as well as some things for Xmas.

Worthwhile trip to Oxford yesterday for our two sons as they watched Swansea City come away 2-1 winners. No futsal for our eldest today as it's cup week and they were knocked out in the last round. He's going to play golf over in Basingstoke instead. Wife and I will be heading over to nearby Bracknell later as we have a couple of family birthdays coming up and they have a good range of shops.

Congrats @Grannylorraine on another HS

Have a good Sunday.

Good morning all! 6.6 today for me.

Seeing an ex-work colleague and her husband for lunch today, both of whom have become good friends. It’s nice to keep in touch. Otherwise not much else planned.

Take care everyone!

Morning everyone, woke up with a 5.2 and a sore throat today, things are not looking good me thinks.

Have a good day everyone and stay y.
.

Good morning 6.0 on waking today
Congratulations on HS’s @Grannylorraine & @Barrowman

Here this morning the mood is slightly somber, following the Cobbles being beaten by the Poppies who play their football 4 leagues below us.we weren’t the only League team knocked out of the FACup by non-league opponents this weekend, but was seen by millions as on the box

Today the usual Sunday jobs including ironing, some tiding, cleaning car and some admin work
but right now I’m having a very lazy Sunday lay-in

Have a Superb Sunday

Morning all - 8.2 for me this morning. Dinner party last night was a resounding success. I really enjoyed making the Lamb shepherd's pie with butterbean crust - lots of lovely spices in it. I did a starter which was rocket leaves; three slices of beetroot; a slice of gravlax, a dollop of gochujang slaw and a dollop of soured cream with a drizzle of balsamic glaze - looked and tasted great and for pudding the chocolate & raspberry pots were amazing (lucky I didn't know that chocolate mousse was meant to be hard to make as I mayn't have bothered) - I ad-libbed and crushed up a digestive biscuit in the bottom of each - definitely not Type2 diabetic friendly but as I was injecting insulin I had a whole portion and I don't think the butterbean crust would have been high carb (although having just looked at the tin and at a packet of potatoes they seem to be similar. I may have to do a controlled test at some point to compare mashed potato with mashed butterbean ... We may go off for a drive over to the coast today as I haven't really been there since moving to Cumbria (apart from on a whirlwind hospital trip when I was taking a patient to Whitehaven and Silloth). Have a great day everyone and congratulations to the HSers xxx

5.3 for me
