Group 7-day waking average?

How lovely. We did wonder about the plaques, there are so many of them! We'r3 going to Weymouth next year and hope to go back to Swanage for a day. We'll keep a look out for your plaque.
If you do go let me know and I'll give you the grid reference, so you can go straight to it. The 'Sponsor a Plank Scheme' is run by the Swanage Pier Trust and is still operating.

Good moaning./morning! Woke with the top of my non-existent foot feeling like a bunsen burner (are they allowed in schools now?) was being played across the top of my foot and we all know how painful burns are. Had to take strong painkillers and waiting for them to kick in. The mind has a long way to develop and I fear Google, AI and the associated nonsense has really slowed development compared to the era from the development of steam power to man landing on the moon. In fact the average Joe and Jane Doe seem pretty thick these days! On fact one HCA suggested if I lose weight I probably would not need to take insulin! o_O While I remember a Heinz (5.7).

Took the last of my antibiotics just before bed. Just hope it has cleared the infection as I am sick and tired of the stomach cramps, constipation, the inverse of the preceding side effect and loss of appetite.

No stars so cloudy.

Good morning. A nice round 5.

Up early as just can’t sleep, hot, achy, mind whirring, blah blah blah, the usual reasons. My new bed hasn’t helped, I didn’t think it would, 40+years of insomnia doesn’t just disappear with a new bed! Talking of which, I’ve had to order new fitted sheets, our present ones are just pinging off! Dunelm do extra deep ones, I’ve order two 40cms ones, to be picked up tomorrow. I’ll also check out the pillows, I have more pillows than you can shake a stick at, but none are quite right. Last night I had the choice of four, I change them a few times through the night, thick, thin, sometimes just one, sometimes two and occasionally I try three! I’ll get it just right one of these days!

No plans today, Mr Eggy is repairing/ painting the outside of our downstairs front windows and is almost finished, so I think that will be his job today. I might do nowt!

Have a super, sparkly, Strictly Saturday.

Morning a 6.2 and a flatfish after going to bed at 6.1 and expecting a rise after normal Pizza and deciding no slice of toast as I normally like to go to bed at least 7.
Nice sleep and a good w/ end planned.
Mikey I am old enough to remember the Bunsen burners and the magnesium strip bursting into flame and dropping something like lithium ( would need to check that🙂 into the water and it zipping about lol.

Good morning everyone

BG 4.9

Glad halloween is over. I really don't like it at all. I don't think I will put up any Christmas decorations this year. No family to celebrate it all with. A wife who doesn't seem to celebrate it (odd as she is so religious). My friend is going away over Christmas. No joy. No point. Sigh. Now, if there was a miracle and my wife got better...

Another quiet day ahead. Looking forward to it. Rest. Walk. Baked potato for tea. Rest. And, er, rest.

Have a great day today whatever you are doing.

Morning folks. 10.5...overtreated a low at 2am, oops.

The puppy met the first dog that doesn’t like her yesterday. I wasn’t there, but hubby said the other dog went for her - she’s got a tiny cut under her chin. Could’ve been worse...the dog’s owner is a friend and he was really upset. Me too, mate! Now, where’s the bubble wrap...? I need to protect my baby LOL.

Phew! I thought I'd lost my mojo. 🙂
Have a good day everyone.

Morning all - another grey one.

10.4 now but not exactly on waking - I've been awake since just gone 3 am. Tried lying in bed trying to sleep for about 2.5 hours and then got up. Only 51% TIR since midnight despite the HCL. So @eggyg I know exactly how you feel.

I am mad as hell - we booked a river cruise on Tuesday. Despite the company's "offer" it was far from cheap. Yesterday I got an email from a travel agent we used before offering the same cruise for £100 less than we are paying, BUT their offer includes the flights, transfers and a night in a hotel in Bordeaux. Today I am going to ring to see if they can do anything to cancel our original booking without losing the deposit.... and transfer to their offer.... I think it's a vain hope... but if you don't ask you don't get.

Dunno what I am doing today, was going to do a grocery shop, but may just go to bed for a nanna nap!

@Gwynn just Hugs.

@MeeTooTeeTo and @Robin congratulations on your HS.

Have a good day all!

Good morning - 4.4

Have a great day everyone.

Morning everyone, finally got to sleep around four and woke up again about 6.30 to a happy 5.9 so I may well be having a kip this afternoon.
.

Well what a surprise for me today! Really pleased with that!

Congratulations to my fellow HSers : @MeeTooTeeTo and @Robin

Celebrated my wife’s birthday yesterday with a trip up to Formby Beach, Crosby Beach and a meal at The Pheasant Inn, Hightown (near Crosby) before slogging back down the M6 to home! Great day out though!

Have a good Saturday everyone!

5.6 on yet another grey, but mild & dry, Berkshire morning.

Got some good news yesterday - our youngest has landed a job at our local Tesco, starting Monday. It's only until Xmas but at least he'll be earning again and they said there's a possibility of full-time afterwards, if he'd be interested. Ironic if Sainsbury's have lost him to their greatest rival.

Our two sons are off to Oxford shortly for Oxford Utd v Swansea City so my wife and I might have lunch in town, a proper lunch that is not a sandwich and coffee. It's a while since we've done that. Afterwards a trip over to CostCo in Reading is on the cards.

@MeeTooTeeTo @Eternal422 and @Robin - congratulations on your HSs this morning.

Whatever your plans, enjoy your Saturday.

Good morning 6.6

And another rural slum booked in for viewing at 2.30. You really do not want to know about yesterdays. A close neighbour has been on the market for 3 months - it is just too dear to achieve my objectives but I am minded to make a very cheeky offer. Don't ask don't get. Mind you I think I would have to invest in one of those electrically heated suits - its huge and its owner takes a Victorian view of heating judging by the blurb.

Checked out one of those budget calculators yesterday. Apparently I am going to be £1.50 a week better off. Hmmm - not enough to fund a weekly lottery ticket so best get back on Rightmove.

Have a brilliant weekend one and all and envisage me doing my best Lady Bracknell impression as I gasp out "How much?"

Hello Weekend a Len from me today
Congrats on HS’s @MeeTooTeeTo & @Robin & @Eternal422

I weighed myself and haven’t lost weight this week, still if I haven’t put any on in my world that’s a win, thinking I need to up the activity anyway.

Have a fabulous day everybody

Morning All - 7.2 for me this morning. I've had a bit of a lie in as tired from my gardening day yesterday with early start and back a bit niggly as I was shovelling loads of compost from a used courgette bed into dumpy bags - loved it though. We've got 6 friends coming for dinner tonight so I'm about to make some chocolate & raspberry pots (need to set in the fridge for 6 hours so I'd better get a move on). Then I'm doing a lamb dish from my Ottolenghi Simple book (possibly should be named "Ottolenghi a little bit simpler than the other books which are far from it" book. I'll let you know how it goes tomorrow. Have a good day everyone and thinking of those going through difficult times xxx. PS: My first guest in our cottage here had a lovely time and wrote a really good review. I'm waiting to confirm another booking for next weekend too so that's exciting.

Woke about 8:00 to a 7.7.

There was some hazy sun then but now it's all gone! :(
