Group 7-day waking average?

Morning all. 7.1 here.

Nothing much to report. I had a couple of hours in Tenby yesterday, just doing the charity shops and enjoying some time to myself. No firm plans so far for today...

Good morning I’m joining @ColinUK on the 6.0 step today

sorry to hear it’s still so tough for you @Gwynn
@Northerner wishing you a speedy recovery

was just wondering Is anyone off to see the vampires today
after all It would be an appropriate day to go

Have a fabulous day everybody 😎

Morning all. 5.4.

Came down to the aftermath of last night’s All Hallows Eve Eve party! Urghh!😳 A good night was had by all and they’d all cleared off by 8.30, except the farmers’ daughters, they stayed over. We did have a good laugh, everyone made an effort to get dressed up, except eldest granddaughter who came straight from work, I’ll forgive her this time. We had a ghost, three witches, witches cat, two skeletons, spooky doll, dinosaur and an aged female punk rocker! AKA me, I looked like I was auditioning for @khskel band! Youngest son-in-law arrived in his work clothes but disappeared to the loo and came back down in a full blow up T Rex costume. We were absolutely in stitches, Zara was a bit worried until I told her it was her daddy. Eden just looked bemused by everyone. We never got a group photo this year as we were down a few but I’ve picked a few to show you the carnage!

Have a great day folks, I’m currently equipped with a black bin bag and a pair of Marigolds! I may be some time. 😉

A 5.0 for me this morning. 🙂 Happy Halloween everyone.

Good morning - 4.0

Have a great day everyone.

Morning All - 8.2 this morning. Gorgeous day here today and I'll be making the most of it in the garden as it's the last day with my companion gardening till February. My first guest for the cottage arrived and she absolutely loved it and said that the photos don't do it justice - it's a hard space to photograph as being an old school it has a really high ceiling. No Halloween shenanigans here but I've caught 5 mice yesterday evening and overnight as I'd found they'd been getting into the place where I keep the dog food - the little field outside our gate looks a bit like something out of a horror movie as I've thrown them over there for the owls/foxes (no poison used, just peanut butter). ......... Sorry, just head to leave my laptop for a minute as heard an awful clattering and banging noise and it was my hubby (hobbling still from his race) falling part way down the stairs 😱 He's fine thank goodness but landed hard on his backside and there's not a lot of padding there and banged his toes which he's really suffering with. Afterwards I pointed out how much I'd reacted (in a caring way) compared to his lack of interest when I fell down the steps out in the garden last week (I couldn't help myself:rofl:) - have a good day everyone, and try not to fall down any stairs xxx

Good morning all! 6.1 today for me.

My breakfast pre-bolus didn’t totally go in, when I removed the needle a fair bit of insulin squirted out, so not sure how much I actually injected. Will have to monitor and have a correction as necessary, just another of the joys of dealing with D!

Take care everyone!

Back over the border with a 6.2 on this cold and misty Berkshire morning. Our fridge was warmer than it was outdoors when I got up.

My wife's headed off to the office and left instructions for us to get the Halloween stuff set up out front, ready for the Trick or Treaters this evening. They're very good around here and don't bother houses that aren't decorated. Pumpkin carved yesterday evening and ready to go outside once it's getting dark.

Thursday swim later. Half term, so it's a bit noisier than usual, but the trade-off is that the main pool is less busy for us lane swimmers as the kids tend to be in the teaching pool and splash area.

Have a good day.

Morning all 5.8 for me Hope u all have a good day

Morning all and 6.9 for me.

I hope the recycling gets collected today as they blobbed last time and the bin won't take anymore.

Need to sort some stuff out today as we're playing in Whitby tomorrow.

Have a good day everyone.

Morning all - a mixture of cloud and sun this morning in West Cornwall. If it stays like this we'll go for a walk after lunch.

6.5 this morning with a straight line overnight.

Not a lot on today except the possible walk. Hopefully I can finish the ironing I have been constantly putting off for nearly a week now!

On my "memories" a picture from nearly 7 years ago popped up. A pork steak with fried apples on a bed of creamy polenta laced with spinach. I think I might replicate that for dinner tonight. I had sort of forgotten about Polenta and it is (or can be) rather nice! Will have to do a speedy supermarket rush for the Polenta.

No HSs today?

Have a Happy Halloween!

Morning all. It was a 5.2 for me earlier this fine morning, I haven't had one of those in a while.

Have a good day folks and stay safe.
.

Good morning. 6.1

Grey but mild here. Another day of checking rightmove and long phone calls with daughter who is feeling deperately nauseous on new chemo. All rather grim. So it was nice to see @eggyg with her lovely mob - not sure dinosaurs are spiritually Halloween but what a great costume.

Have a happy day all.

Good morning folks, 5.2 this morning.

It can be difficult for me to test regularly because the tissue in my fingers are not puffy enough and when I press the tissue just doesn't spring back like it used to. It also hurts if I do the prick test when its like this. I generally wait for it be be more cushioned for the prick but sometimes I can find a finger that responds a little better than the others. Its an age thing I think, I have mentioned to the doc a couple of times but she doesn't seem to offer any advice other than drink more water, which does not always resolve the prob.

Any way happy with the results today, but its difficult for me to know whats happening every day so I can tell when it has stabilised and also check its not going too low with the flozin med.

Have a great day all, hope everyone is doing well and ....... Happy Halloween FemalePumpkin.jpg

Very late posting had a horrible day yesterday we took our rag doll cat to the vets daughter found a small lump
under her breast bone, we thought it might be a cyst but the vet thinks its cancer, she has given her some antibiotics but say if it doesn't go down its cancer were obviously really worried and hoping the vet is wrong she's 9 years old, trying to keep positive.
