Group 7-day waking average?

Morning all. 6.2

Debating whether to spend money on a tech something I don’t really need but want. But really don’t need…. But really quite fancy upgrading to… but really don’t need…. because the one I have is ok…. But…

I’m going to take the current one (iPad mini 4) to the Apple Store and compare and contrast with the new version (iPad mini 7) and step away.

I’m not going to buy it today that’s for sure as I’ve started to do shopping via Virgin Red online to accumulate Virgin Points and they’re offering some ridiculous multiplier on Apple purchases. Even more points will be forthcoming as I use my Virgin credit card to buy things so get double whammy. If I buy it at all that is.

In other news Paris Opera have filmed Swan Lake in IMAX and it’s being shown in IMAX cinemas in November. I’ve booked tigers.

*tickets!!!

Although Swan Lake with added tigers would be interesting

A 5.3 for me this morning. 🙂

Up and about a little earlier than usual this morning as I had to get my car over to the dealer for its MOT and they open at 8. Fortunately they're on a bus route and I can get a bus back that drops me 5 minutes walk away from our local Morrisons. Just have to wait now to find out whether there's anything that's going to fail it or whether it's just the usual handful of advisories.

Managed to rake up and bag loads of leaves yesterday but there seems to be near enough the same amount to rake up today. Only to be expected, I suppose.

Bit dull, grey and damp here but at least there's been one bright spot:-

Whatever your plans, have a good day.

@Martin.A - congratulations on your HS today.

Back from nurse, blood pressure has improved slightly, but still need to stay on high doses of Ramipril until it comes back into the normal range. Lost 4kg which I was disappointed with, nurse however was very pleased with, also was happy with my asthma review and inhaler usage.

Morning all and 6.6 for me.

Currently learning/relearning songs for two bands. Three of them are covers which I'm not normally keen on but as I was given free rein to compose an organ piece as an intro I'm ok.

The rest will be from my first band. Apparently my fingers were more nimble back then but I'm getting there

Hobbycraft didn't happen yesterday, looks like this aft instead.

Have a good day everyone.

5,5 for me this morning, not posted for a couple of days been busy shopping for what has turned out to be a complete new Living room apart from the TV and sofas, it started with a new TV unit and display cabinet and ended up with new sideboard, side tables and coffee table, all flat pack from JYSK. then I made the mistake of just browsing our local carpet shop, and ended up buying a new living room carpet, stairs and landing plus new floor for the hall, L love this shop they sell a lot of off cuts, and the prices are fantastic, so we ended up with almost £1000 of flooring for £440, the living room carpets full price was £500 full price, we paid £220, anyway all arrived yesterday and hubby has so far done the living room and stairs, he isn't well pleased as ive order new wallpaper as well. hope everyone has a good day

Good morning on another dullish day. Yesterday's drizzle turned into the sort that drenched you without actually pouring down.

7.4 this morning. Off to town to have lunch with my friend and then do a bunch of errands. Beluga lentils and aubergine stew with sausages for dinner.

I notice @TinaD hasn't been around for a few days. Hope she is OK.

Congrats to @Martin.A A on the HS

Have a good day everyone.

Ooh first up. 4.7, bit low for me. Checked on meter and it’s near as dammit!

New bed day today, eventually got a text off couriers at 9.40 last night! You’ll be pleased to know we didn’t need to sleep in the bunk beds. Arrival time 11.34-13.34! Before that though, two granddaughters will arrive, bed needs dismantled, cakes to make, gingerbread or carrot cake I haven’t decided yet and Rice Krispie and marshmallow pumpkins. Saw them online and they look great, couldn’t get orange food colouring so opted for yellow, hopefully if I put enough in it’ll work! Hordes arriving at 5pm for our spooktacular Eve of Halloween party. Hopefully we’ll have time to make the new bed up before all that happens! ! There’s nothing worse is there, when you’ve stripped the bed and totally forget about it until you enter your room at midnight after a hectic day! 😱

Have a wonderful Wednesday.
