Group 7-day waking average?

Good morning! 7.8 this morning after a restlessness night.

Silly o'clock Podiatry this morning.

Broken cloud. Beware of zombies this evening particularly if misty/foggy!

Opps, realised I am a day early. Someone texted me "Scary day today" and I made the wrong assumption! They were talking about the budget as they are one of the people who want a brilliant NHS, excellent schools, etc. but don't want to pay for them! :(

5.8 for me.

I have the excitement that is NHS mandatory Moving and Handling training today. I can barely contain my excitement (but I will do so, in a way that maintains good posture and spine health!)

Hope everyone has a more exciting day than me (I feel this won't be difficult!)

Had a rough few days, still, good morning everyone

BG 5.1 (yesterday morning going back 4.8, 5.1, 4.8, 5.2)

Today nothing planned

Have a great day today whatever you are doing

Good morning - 6.2

Have a great day everyone.

Make room on the 5.2 step for me please!

One of the good things about leaving Nursing & Midwifery is no more Manual Handling Days - Enjoy!

Good morning 5.3 today

Congrats on HS @Grannylorraine & @ColinUK Plus Martin.A (on yesterday’s HS) :star:

it’s another tough week at work this week for me which just so frustrating

Question, does anyone else drink the daily greens supplement ?
we started buying HUEL
TBH actually tasted quite palatable but we decided it was to expensive
so on the second month cancelled the subscription
I’ve also tried Essential Greens from Protein Works but decided it tastes quite disgusting 🙄 not that I’ve ever drunk Pond Water but that’s kind of how I would imagine it to taste 😉 any recommendations gratefully accepted thanks :thankyou:

Have a Wonderfully Wacky Wednesday (was actually thinking of maybe posting the one they use at the factory where Mrs @goodybags works but far blue to publish here)
TC 😎

Morning All - 8.2 this morning. My TIR is really improving from my Novorapid with the evening meal. Had a great catchup with @eggyg yesterday. It was definitely speed dating as we managed to squeeze it in to 2.5 hours instead of our usual 4-5! All extremely useful and the big thing I learnt from it is that it will take time to learn how my own body works with different foods - obvious I know but it's always so easy to compare oneself to others. I've got my first guest in our self catering cottage here today so I've already been up there and moved the mouse traps and will spend the morning doing the finishing touches. Hope she likes it and gives me a nice review. Off for a Scar Work session first which I haven't had for ages so that will be good - haven't had breakfast yet and thinking about putting it off till afterwards as she'll obviously be working on my abdomen ... Have a good day everyone. Here's the obligatory selfie from our trip out yesterday.

What a gorgeous pair! You've heard of The Three Degrees, well Jo and I are The Three Cs! When will I see you again?

Well done to today's HSs. I was 5.7 first thing this am. 🙂

Not tried any of the greens but not a fan of Huel at all. My go to is Protein Works for shakes and Grenade for bars.

Morning 🙂 6.4 for me today 🙂 Apologies for being a bit AWOL recently, I have been distracted by a skin cancer that appeared on my finger some time ago and waiting for an operation to remove it. I'd originally noticed it at the start of the pandemic, but thought it was wart and certainly wasn't going to bother the doctor with that at that time. Over the past year it changed appearance and I finally got it looked at 🙂 NHS have been pretty good with referral, biopsy, pre-op and now finally, yesterday I had the op to remove it (also involved a skin graft, hence the forearm dressing) 🙂 Main worry for me is that it's the index finger of my left hand - and I'm left-handed! 😱 Should find out in a few weeks if they got everything, so fingers crossed - it was a squamous cell carcinoma, which has a small chance of spreading.

Now a few weeks of healing and doing nowt - not even the washing up! 🙂

Eek, Northie, wondered where you’d got to! All the best for a quick healing, accept all offers of help, and don’t rush back to the washing up!

Pleased to report that my car passed its MOT yesterday with just a couple of advisories, so really pleased with that. All being well I shouldn't have to do anything but put petrol in it until April, which is when the insurance is due. I'll be celebrating later giving it an outing to the recycling centre to dump a load of stuff that's built up, mostly cardboard packaging from the goodies my wife's been ordering from Hello Fresh - anyone else tried them? - and from the standing desk that our eldest is now using when WFH.

Congrats on HS @Grannylorraine & @ColinUK - unfortunately I can't join you as it's a 5.6 for me this morning

@Northerner - wishing you a speedy recovery and a good outcome.

Have a good day, all.

Morning all - another grey one. It's getting rather tedious!

6.4 this morning with a flat line overnight, 100% in range since midnight, but only 74% in range yesterday, partially due to the bacon, brie and cranberry ciabatta I had for lunch in a cafe yesterday. Had to guesstimate carbs and didn't bolus until it was in front of me.

Yesterday was a good day. Shopping in town is usually hopeless as they have closed any shop you'd want to buy from, but yesterday I got a really nice sweater. Also we booked a holiday which falls over our 40th wedding anniversary next June.

Not much on today, but we will be meeting our friends in the local late afternoon as usual for a Wednesday.

Wishing @Northerner a speedy recovery! Use disposable plates!

@Grannylorraine and @ColinUK congratulations on your HSs.

@Gwynn hope things look up a bit for you.

Have a good day all
