Group 7-day waking average?

7.6 this morning knew i should not have had that banana in the night

Good morning - well, what a difference a day makes. Yesterday was so lovely and sunny. Today it's misty and drizzling and generally very miserable.

7.4 this morning.

Had a nice walk yesterday along the coast path towards Marazion. Unfortunately I put a pair of boots on, logic being that they had thicker soles than the light leather sneakers I have been wearing. Not worn them since last winter and I ended up with a blister under my big toe, in the soft part near the joint with my sole. It's not painful this morning, but obviously I shall be keeping an eye on it.

Photos are of Marazion and St Michael's Mount with a rather dodgy horizon line. I used to have software to correct this, but lost it when I got my laptop as it was on a disk and my laptop doesn't have a disk drive.

Not much on today except a grocery shop - this usually involves 2 supermarkets. But deffo need some green veg! Dinner will be leftovers from last night's roast pork and fennel, with something or other green as we ate up all the carrots roasted with cumin seeds.

@zippyjojo have a look at the BERTIE carb counting course online... I found it very helpful. Congratulations to your hubby, son and friend.

@Eternal422 wishing your SIL a good recovery.

@Grannylorraine congratulations on your HS and glad your granddaughter's party went well

Have a good day all....
There you go. All straight!

Whoops have just eaten 2 bananas I bear no responsibility for my waking BG Honest gov they just forced their way into my mouth

Morning and a 4.7 on waking after a gentle slope down and a 6.3 after walking the dogs. Nice sleep and rewarded myself with a couple of rounds of toast.
Quiet day yesterday and quick trip to Colwyn Bay today so have a good one.

Morning All - earlier than I'd like but Wilbur (boxer) clearly not in the new time zone yet. I would have ignored him for a bit but we have guests staying and their room is above him. 7.6 this morning. Gave myself 5 units last night having worked out rough carb content of supper which included an individual apple & blackberry crumble that I'd made (I say made, I make the stewed fruit but I cheat with Aunt Bessie's crumble mix). Yesterday I went out of my way to drive and park near the local blackberries on may way back from shopping and I precariously balanced and reach to get the last ones which would at least add colour to the pudding if not much depth. Came home, putting them in my mini saucepan on the hob and then stupidly took something out to our barn and got distracted by a packing box. Wandered back in about 30 minutes later and before I'd got to the kitchen I suddenly remembered the blackberries - needless to say they were inedible and my pan is taking some serious work with wire wool. So when I made the puddings I rummaged around in a freezer bag of summer fruits and found about 9 blackberries in there, but it was enough to make it more interesting. I'm off to meet @eggyg later so watch out if your ears are burning 😉

Good morning 6.0 today

Morning all. 7.5 here.

Shhh, I’m whispering because I don’t want to wake up yesterday’s rain - it was MIZ! Looks like it might be dry today with some sunshine...fingers crossed.

We were comparing our puppy to online pics of mini Labradoodles yesterday. We don’t think her dad was really a miniature poodle. We suspect one of the foxhounds (she came from a hunting stables) got out and had a jolly time with her mum LOL. It’ll be interesting to see how she turns out!

Well done, Team @zippyjojo!!!

Morning folks. 5.6. Been a while since I’ve had a 5 something.

As @zippyjojo mentioned we’re having a mini DAFNE course later. Or could I patent the EGGY! course. Eat Gorgeous Grub, Yeah! Maybe needs some work. 😉

We’re having a Halloween Party, as well as getting a new bed, tomorrow. This afternoon will be spent prepping for that. Minestrone soup ( worm soup) already made, ghost sausage rolls made, need to make some baguettes for the soup when I get home. The farmers’ daughters can help with the cakes when they arrive early doors tomorrow. I’ve cheated, oh the shame, and I’ve bought some frozen party food, I’m time short tomorrow, shhh, don’t tell anyone! 🙄 Also got to get the Halloween decorations out of the shed and decorate the dining room, the girls can help with that too. No rest for the wicked!

Have a good day.

6.1 for me.
Was so touched yesterday. One of new colleagues has Type 1 diabetes. She's recently swapped to using a Dexcom sensor. I went into my drawer yesterday morning and she'd gifted me 2 Libre sensors that she'd not used x So, I get to have another month of continuous monitoring.
I have clinic today. My first day flying solo so hopefully it'll be a kind one.

Morning all. 5.6, best morning reading i've had in a while. Mind you, i had corrections late afternoon and evening again. Basal still isn't quite right.

@Grannylorraine congrats on yesterday's HS.

@zippyjojo and @eggyg have a lovely day. @eggyg i think you should do a cookbook and call it Eat Gorgeous Grub Yeah 😉

@BobbleHat that was kind of your colleague. I hope your clinic goes ok.

Have a lovely day everyone.

Good morning! Woke at 4:00 to 3.5. 2x JB and a cup of tea. Didn't wake till 7:30 but DP played out a Sunset Strip (7.7)

Ophthalmology all clear yesterday and need for next week's appointment not needed as they did the planned check as well. Patient Transport pretty good as well (why do some patients make alternative arrangements and not cancel PT?). So good, but tiring day overall. Will update my thread about the double appointment! https://forum.diabetes.org.uk/boards/threads/split-opthalmology-appointment.114742/

Heavy cloud.

Good morning - 7.6

Have a great day everyone.

Morning all. 6.2

Debating whether to spend money on a tech something I don’t really need but want. But really don’t need…. But really quite fancy upgrading to… but really don’t need…. because the one I have is ok…. But…

I’m going to take the current one (iPad mini 4) to the Apple Store and compare and contrast with the new version (iPad mini 7) and step away.

I’m not going to buy it today that’s for sure as I’ve started to do shopping via Virgin Red online to accumulate Virgin Points and they’re offering some ridiculous multiplier on Apple purchases. Even more points will be forthcoming as I use my Virgin credit card to buy things so get double whammy. If I buy it at all that is.

In other news Paris Opera have filmed Swan Lake in IMAX and it’s being shown in IMAX cinemas in November. I’ve booked tigers.

*tickets!!!

Although Swan Lake with added tigers would be interesting
